Natsu was sure it would be a hopeless endeavor as well. The way she rolled her hips in his lap certainly didn't help persuade him to give her any more space than she already had. But when she started moving away ever so slightly and given how his arms stayed around her it was obvious that he wouldn't let her get far if that was her intention to tease him with the promise of what they both wanted.
