Oh he was not letting her out of his sight AGAIN! Then again if Lucy hadn't gotten captured he would not have had the chance to save this world Lucy's and he did make it in there at like the last minute so really one could argue the results were better than they should have been. That being said he still was not letting Lucy out of his sight again any time soon so she could look forward to a lot of cuddling and holding.
