Alisa knew of some of the things he's had to do - but he never wanted to take away Crossbell's freedom, or even half the other things his father made him do. He's only wanted to protect people - and while yes, a lot of his involvement did minimize casualties, she did know that some people wouldn't see it that way.

But they all knew Rean well enough to know that he still wouldn't want to 'burden' them with his problems. Even though it wouldn't be a burden. If they all worked together, maybe they'd find a way to get Rean out - surely...
