His senses had always been insanely sharp so there was no wonder he could hear the two women in the house talking outside. while he couldn't make out the details of the words they exchanged he was still able to perceive the changes in tone and volume which let him deduce and theorize. That was until Sharon's voice came from right outside the door to the bathroom causing him to sit straight up before he answered.
"No no! I'm perfectly fine. Thank you for the offer though Sharon" Just ignore that strained tone he had there at the end.
