The fish isn't as great a fighter as the legendaries that Rean's caught obviously, but it still struggles, once or twice flipping out of the water in a desperate attempt to escape - though that didn't help its situation one bit, and before long it stopped fighting and was reeled in, a nicely sized Arowana as his prize.
