Since graduating from the Academy, life has been..interesting for Alisa, to say the least. She's been kept very busy, since she was upholding her promise to her mother on showing her the proper way to run the company, and it wasn't easy to put in those changes. Though it would have been a lot harder if she didn't have the support of those around her. But because of that, she hadn't been able to get time to get to visit Rean as much as she liked.
Translation: As much as she liked = every day. She did get to visit - or vice versa - at least on the weekend, and she talked to him almost every night thanks to the range on the ARCUS. Just as finished up for the night, she made her way up to the penthouse, glancing around to make sure she was alone (And you never know with Sharon) in order to take out her ARCUS once more and see if she could get a hold of Rean before bed. She was planning on seeing if he was in the area - alternatively, she was sure she could get away for a visit, if he wasn't busy.

"Yeah so it is. We still have the Arcus at least."

Claire can delay only so long though, and when her conversation with the engineer had exhausted itself, she awkwardly turned back to glance at Rean and Alisa, knowing she had to interrupt, but really, REALLY not wanting to.

"I will come back to you. No matter what happens." He promised without any kind of jest or joke in tow. He looked out of hte corner of his eye and saw Clair hesitate to ruin the moment.

Sharon and Claire were certainly exchanging glances at this point, and when Alisa's shoulders trembled with the silent sobs, Claire actually glanced away uneasily. Even if her hands were tied because of her refusal to turn against Rean's father, it didn't make it any easier, when Rean and Alisa and their friends did so much for the country. And this was their reward.

Why did it have to hurt so much? It hurt more any any injury she took in battle. She quickly rubbed at her eyes, brushing away the tears as she whispered a hoarse, "I know.. I know you have to go." She sniffled once more and gave a deep sigh, "I... I can do this..." She took a step backwards with Sharon holding her shoulders reassuringly. Because Alisa felt like pulling forward and latching onto Rean again, as if it could keep him from leaving. "This isn't goodbye.." She just didn't know WHEN She'd see him again.

"Of course. I will see you again. I wouldn't break that promise at least." Other he'd broken because circumstances dictated that he must with no regard for his own feelings or will.
"I'll look forward to that day. WIth everythin I am~"

At which point Claire finally stepped forward, breaking the moment between then, "I'm sorry," she glanced between the two, "We have to go." Allowing him even this much time to say good bye was probably more than he would normally be given. She gave Alisa an apologetic glance, then nodded slightly to Rean before she stepped back and made her way onto the train.
Alisa closed her eyes looked down, determined to stay composed until Rean was on the train.

He came back down to reality as Claire stepped up. He appreciated the time she offered to himself and Alisa. Even if it did little to quell the aching in his heart. Rean turned away at last and finally took the steps towards the door to the ttrain compartment. He didn't rush his departure and just as he was about to go through the door, the train's whistle sounded out signaling it was about to leave the station.
"I'll be back Alisa. Look after yourself. And after Rumu of course." HE would have told Sharon to look after Alisa but then she would do that without being asked. Still he stood just beyond the door watching Alisa and Sharon until the doors finally slid shut between him and the station platform. He could feel his knees start to buckle.

She might be the Icy Maiden, but she did have a heart for those she cared about, and she thought of Rean like a little brother. She was unused to the situation he was in, so she guarded herself with a cool, composed expression as she made her way into a different cabin from Rean's, to give him his privacy. Though she stood silently in the corridor a moment or two before making her way to the front of the train with a heavy sigh.
"Ha..haha," Alisa smiled weakly at mention of Rumu, "Of ..of course. And you take care of yourself too. And Valimar." She swallowed back the pain, "I love you," she added in a softer whisper he might not even hear. But she kept smiling, as long as she could, though the minute Rean turned his back, that smile was gone.
Sharon shifted her arms around Alisa in a tight hug, "Be strong, my lady." She whispered, "Just a little longer."
Alisa nodded mutely, her vision blurring as she felt the tears start to come again. Clapping her hands over her mouth to keep herself from calling out his name one more time, willing herself to stay put lest she run after him. Once Rean had vanished inside the train and the door slid shut, all the strength left her and she collapsed to her knees, with Sharon gently kneeling down behind her to hug her mistress when Alisa turned to cling to her instead.

He wished he could turn around and wave her off with a smile but knowing what he would see, he chose to not turn around and only once the train pulled out of the station did his composure finally break.
"I love you too...my dear Alisa." he murmured to no one asss shis head rested heavily against the wall opposite of the door while his frame hook with the overflowing emotions raging inside of him that he had contained up to the very last moment.
