Surprisingly enough it was almost as if that kick had somehow managed to temporarily shatter the nightmares and fears that had plagued him every night since running off. So it was an actually uneventful and deep sleep. For about a few hours. Then the pain started seeping in and he groaned as his eyes seemed reluctant to open.
