He hadn't even kissed her to erase that anger. He just wanted to kiss her because it had been so long and because she was that precious. Simple enough motives for him and yet true none the less. Feeling her take the initiative to deepen it, he slowly pretended to deny her at first before he let her tongue in with a low purr his hands already working on finding a way under her shirt completely.
