How it should have happened!

"If you do this, you won't be able to come back. They'll think of you as a traitor or a spy, the same as Allen." Komui had said. Well, she probably wouldn't be judged AS harshly as Allen, but it wouldn't look favorably on Lenalee if she up and abandoned the Order to chase after him. It was one thing to drag him back, but knowing what would wait for him if she did, she had no intention of doing so. And she had no intention of leaving his side once she found him either.

This... was not what she had dreamed of when she thought about the days of not being needed in the Order - when she and Allen could live together, even with Komui. But she didn't regret her decision. She did, however, worry about Komui once she left - because he would probably take the consequences for it. Sure he reassured her about it, that he would be fine - and that he would even follow as soon as he could, if he could -- lord knows they would be watching him like a /hawk/ if they didn't imprison him or something.

Was this really the right thing to do? Abandon her family for her love? Lenalee shook her head. Had to stop thinking like that. Komui was no fool, and he had his own allies there. He'd be fine.. besides, the dreams she had when she was able to sleep.. they worried her. frightened her, even.

No, that's a laugh. She hadn't been able to sleep properly since Allen took off. That's why she went out with the team to try and find them - but since they were called back, Lenalee couldnt help but disagree with the decision. Which is why she called her brother on a secure line and ..he already knew honestly. He knew she wouldn't agree to peacefully going back, after all she and Allen had been through.

So with her brother's blessing, reassurance and request that she convey his worries to Allen as well, Lenalee made an excuse that she needed to use the bathroom, and bolted the moment she was out of sight. Once she lost her pursuers, she would focus on searching for Allen properly. And pray (ha) she wasn't making a horrible mistake.

"Yet you wouldn't let me get away with saying the same back at you, would you?" Allen said with a playful roll of his eyes before his gaze softened into one of absolute love and infatuation.

"I do mean it though. I tried so hard to keep you away to keep you safe because deep down I knew..I knew if I didn't I would not be able to push you away again no matter the danger..."

Lenalee grinned, "Maybe if you beat me to it next time." She stuck her tongue out at him, before her expression went from mischievous to tender, ".. I know you meant well. You've always had my best interests in mind." He's always been protective of her - only now she knew it was because it was more than not wanting to get murdered by Komui if anything happened to her on Allen's watch, and it was more than them just being partners, at the time. "Just as you know I'd look for you again if you ever left, because I want us to face everything together from here on. More than as a team." She purred softly, nuzzling her lips against his, stealing a gentle kiss whilst he was dist-- oh he's never distracted, who's she kidding.

"Challenge accepted." Allen chuckled seeing her acting so very cheeky at him. He loved seeing her that comfortable that she showed her more feisty playful side to him. It made Allen fall for her even harder all over again.

"I know. I guess deep down I always knew you'd track me down again." Allen admitted with a sheepish smile before he closed his eyes and stole a tender kiss right back at her.

Lenalee chuckled into the kiss softly, though she didn't break it off right away, only letting him up when she was out of breath, "Haah.. always." She breathed, "I'll always come find you, ..because you're my one true love." Her entire world, as she'd said earlier. As far as she was concerned, her life had no meaning if he wasn't in it.

"Honestly...I sometimes have to ask myself how I ended up earning the love of the most wonderful woman in the world." Allen chuckled softly to himself before he slowly nuzzled against her neck and the back of her ear since he was feeling exceedingly cuddly with her right now.

Lenalee was more than content with the cuddles, humming softly against him, "Haha.. the same way I earned the love of the most wonderful man in the world." She murmured, "A wonderful, strong, talented, handsome man and...mmh, an incredible lover..Nnhh, that... feels so good.." she felt like she was melting into a puddle of happy bliss right now.

"Oh it feels good when I nuzzle just right here~?" Allen answered with a hint of mischief and playfulness. If she wanted them to get any sleep it seemed it was up to Lenalee to call the shots. If she actually even wanted to.

Oh she did, of course.. but not just yet. She didn't want to rile him up either though, so it was a careful balance of cuddles and affection~. That being said, she knew that tone of voice, and even as she shuddered under him, she tried to scold his mischievousness, "Y-yess...Allen...~" That troublemaker that he was, now she had to be on guard for his playfulness.

That was the slight problem with falling so deeply in love. SHe could rile him up without even trying. Just by being herself. Still Allen knew better than to force things so he paced himself even while being cheeky at her.

"Well Then I'll have to keep that in mind, now won't I~?"

That WAS indeed a pickle, and not one she had any inclination of changing anytime soon. She just had to make sure to try and keep on track and not get distracted by his natural charm. Which on some days would probably be easier said than done. She nuzzled lightly against him, "Is there anything that you like me doing for you?" Well, maybe a better question was 'what did he like best' but it dawned on her that she might not get a real specific answer for either of those questions.

Good since Allen didn't feel it needed to change anyway. Allen nuzzled softly against Lenalee in return before pulling away form her neck with a reluctant grumble.

"The list is rather long and most of it will just rile me up all over again. SO how would you like the answer~?"

Lenalee chuckled lightly at the grumble, "Don't pout," she teased, pulling him close against her body, sighing softly against his ear. "If that's the case..maybe we should save that conversation for after we get off of the train and into a ...more private room, in the morning?" She grinned, sneaking in a little kiss at the promise.

"Mmmm I suppose that would be for the best or else we won't get any sleep at all." Allen chuckled and pecked her on the lips right back for that cheeky sneaky kiss she ambushed him with.

"I wish I could literally persist just off of being with you instead of needing sleeping and food."

Lenalee made a soft pleased little noise at the counter sneaky kiss, giggling a little herself. "Mmhh, but then we really wouldn't ever get anything done." She pointed out, "Even though right now, we should be sleeping.. or at least getting ready to sleep, but I can't stop with you." Talking or stealing kisses or doing anything really. "It's really a 'problem'."

"Mmmm we're just talking unrealistic hypotheticals. There's no harm in that~" Allen smiled dashingly at Lenalee before nuzzling his face against her neck and just letting out a long drawn out sigh.

"Everything about you...is just so relaxing and exciting at the same time."

Lenalee chuckled, "I should argue the point, but~" she trailed off with a softer purr when Allen nuzzled against her with that sigh. "I can't seem to remember what my argument would be." That smile just made her forget everything except cuddling with him. That too, could be a problem if he destroyed all her arguments with his charismatic-everything! ...but not really.

She nuzzled against him in turn, humming agreement, "I feel the same way," she agreed, "I feel so .. giddy when I'm with you."

"Should you though when you feel so happy with me?" Allen smiled and leaned his lips up against her shoulder before pulling back again to just bask in all of Lenalee's beauty.

"Just giddy hmmm~?"

Lenalee hummed, half squinting playfully at him, "Are you fishing for compliments?" As if he ever did. But she couldn't help but poke fun at him, if he was going to be mischievous like that. "You know that I feel more than just giddiness when i'm with you.. it just happened that in the moment.. I feel giddy."

"Hmmm I guess I can settle for that~" Alen made a show of it though and just kept showing off that playful side to her while they two of them slowly found one another leaning ito the other's arms more and more as sleep slowly claimed them.

Lenalee found it so incredibly easy to fall asleep in his arms in any situation -- well almost any; obviously not combat. But she did still feel it comforting to be in his arms in those scenarios. Even if it generally meant he was protecting her from something, or someone. "Mmhh, you'd better," she playfully huffed, closing her eyes as she nuzzle close enough to legally be considered an actual puzzle piece fitting in place.

That was such a high compliment too. being able to provide Lenalee with that kind of safety and comfort she could just fall asleep in his arms. To say nothing of the lovely bonus of getting to see her sleeping face up close like this.

"Sleep well~ Lenalee, my love."

Lenalee smiled at those words, curling her arm around him tightly with a long sigh, "I will in your arms, my beloved Allen." She purred, relaxing lightly in his arms and drifting off to sleep.

At least until morning, but waking up with him holding her was like the best way to wake up in the morning. Or anytime in general.

Allen remained awake a little longer just to admire Lenalee's peaceful sleeping expression before tucking around her with all of his body before he too succumbed to slumber for the rest of the night.

Lenalee snuggled into him in the middle of the night, holding him close. Sleeping perfectly soundly with him throughout the evening, only stirring for a second when the train eventually pulled to a stop at the station. She yawned a bit, grumbled, and nuzzled closer as if it could make a few more minutes of sleep possible, just he was holding her.

Allen had already woken up when the train's speed started dropping as the station came into view. Still he didn't wake Lenalee up right away since she was too precious in her sleeping unguarded state atop of him.

"Leeeenaleee~ It's time to wake up~" he hummed softly to his sleeping goddess.
