Christmas and Thanksgiving were going to be difficult holidays for Regina and the kids. They had, for the most part, mended from the deaths of their friends, but this would also be the first Christmas slash Thanksgiving without them. So for that afternoon, she decided to let Natsu distract the kids and the dog for the time being. More than likely they were bundled up and jumping in piles of leaves outside, or begging Natsu for more demonstrations. As for herself, she went to help distract Regine with preparing food. Happily, Regina only took Lucy's bright smile for her natural demeanor and not for any other reasons.

On the other hand, Lucy hadn't been able to stop smiling since the night she and Natsu were.. er.. very intimate together. Assuming she didn't drift off into a dreamy spacey mode when she thought no one was looking. And if she actually saw him, forget it - it took everything she had not to grab him and hold him close. Heck, before that night she had difficulty keeping her eyes off him - it was more so now. SO it was probably for the best that she had something like cooking and entertaining Regine to occupy her attention.

If Regine noticed the way Lucy's conversation chatter kept turning to the topic of Natsu unconsciously, she didn't mention it, though she did seem amused for some reason. Currently the ladies were discussing options for the dinner - the kids wanted to start eating spicier food to - obviously - be more like Natsu after all.

Oh she could feel that cheeky grin against her lips, even as she melted with him, granting a few minutes of peace with her hands gently caressing his body. Her touch was light and warm, not tickling , scratching or pinching but simply being - feeling his skin under her hands with a gentle desire. Breathing through the kisses each time was even getting easier at this point. Though each kiss from him made her greedy for more.

She had no need to be greedy as he would gladly give everything he had to her. Those warm gentle hands lured him in closer, letting his chiseled physique press down on top of Lucy while his tongue danced with the mage's, coaxing it in and out of his own mouth as he growled almost possessively.

He was of course, the only one she would tolerate possessiveness from. The amount of love he had for her, how much he wanted her as his and only his - it was dizzying, intoxicating, and she was utterly drunk on him. Hearing that growl brought a warmth into the smile that was always for him, and she rewarded him for the sound by holding him that much closer, leaning that much more into him as her kiss turned more aggressive, her own version of a growl uttered in response. Though her 'growls' were more of a throaty purr.

Throaty purrs were accepted quite heartily. Natsu's hands slowly grew more demanding and eager, careesing her form as he let his chest press dow on Lucy's to enjoy that sensation of having no space between each other anymore. As if that was more important than breathing. It probably was just that vital in his mind.

She shifted against him, finding minimizing space between their bodies to be just as vital. Needing to be as close to him as possible was equal to breathing for her. As his touch grew more demanding, she responded by pressing her body closer to him, her arms holding him tight enough that he could feel the press of her chest to his, her fingers pressing into his hair as if she intended to keep him from ever pulling back.

He broke the kiss first this time, before he turned his hungry lips to Lucy's throat and shoulder. "You really have no idea how easy you can light my fire. It's kinda scary but exciting at the same time~" Natsu chuckled deeply before teasing her skin with his fangs and tongue.

She gasped softly, letting out a soft, shuddering moan, fixing brown eyes on his face as he spoke. "R..really... I'll have to do it more often then," she teased with a sultry smile. "But I never thought I'd hear you call anything scary and exciting like this..."

"It's scary because I feel tempted to just let go and give into the instincts and wants you bring out in me. I don't know when I'd stop if I did." Natsu confessed, his breathing growing more labored as he wanted to fully enjoy Lucy.

She paused at that, her breathing catching in her throat slightly. Now why did _THAT_ send a little twitch of .. of something - curiosity? excitement? - up her spine..? Just trying to imagine a Natsu that wasn't holding back.... Goodness, considering he drove her wild just from holding back that much...

And yet ... and yet ... "Natsu..." She reached up to touch his cheek gently, "Why .. would that be frightening?" Well she didn't want him to hold himself back any more than he did, but - she refrained from mentioning that JUST yet.

Because she was just as big of a dare devil as he was in some things. Natsu turned his eyes back to Lucy when she lightly touched his cheek. "Why? Because I don't know how far I would go." That unknown is a bit of a blind jump for his liking especially when he wanted nothing but memorable moments with Lucy when intimate.

That was definitely his influence. Their whole relationship has been a bit of an unknown at first too though - but she supposed she could understand his hesitance. "You don't have to be afraid though." She smiled, "I trust you." She wasn't sure how far he'd go, certainly, but if nothing else she trusted he'd stop if she told him to stop, or if she was uncomfortable.

Or exhausted.

"You told me you didn't want me to hold back," she added, gently brushing her fingers against his cheek. "... I don't want you to do that either. So if you ever feel like letting go...let go."

He didn't want her to have to stop him though. That was the point. He saw such an eventuality as a failure on his part. But Lucy's words were unlocking the locks on those concerns one by one and he could feel himself grow even more excited.

"If I do...I might just quit talking for the most part." He confessed though already the tone of his voice was growing huskier and deeper than usual

Exhaustion didn't count towards that failure, right? But her main concern was reassuring him. Whatever they might jump into blind, they would jump into it together. And from that tone of voice, she would suppose that he was feeling at least a little reassured.

Her cheeks grew warm in spite of herself, just gazing at him happily, enough that she laughed softly, brushing her fingers back through his hair. "As much as I love the sound of your voice... We've never needed words when it mattered most."

Well no it didn't. That laugh only helped ease his worries even more. His green eyes trained on Lucy's lovely face and noted how absolutely lovely she looked with rosy cheeks and eyes swimming with her love for him.

"Well when you put it like that I guess you have a point. Still I don't want you to forget. Even if I don't say it, there's no one I love more than you~" Of course he still loved his dad but that was a different kind of love and even he knew it.

Her smile widened, the adoration in her face matching the love in her eyes. "I could never forget that. Ever. Not anymore than you could forget how much I love you." How could she ever forget that, when he showed it in so many different, wonderful ways every day?

That smile. that warm loving genuine smile. One of those many things he loved about Lucy and would do anything to protect for her. She had no idea how much that smile meant to him.

"You're definitely the wordier one of us. But thanks Lucy. I guess I needed to hear all that~"

Lucy giggled, "I should be. I'm the writer in this relationship," she teased, pulling him towards her as she leaned forward, resting her forehead against his. "You're welcome, Natsu." She murmured affectionately, placing a soft kiss against his lips. "Worrying about something like that." She added with a smile. He really was something else.

He leaned into that kiss while it lasted before flashing her a bashful grin. Even though they were in less than modest circumstances he still found it impossibly precious the way Lucy was acting right now and that only fed into his own love and desires.

So he stopped hesitating, leaning in for another kiss only to veer off right at the end to place his lips on Lucy's cheek and then her jaw and then her neck with no sign of him stopping that steady march along her body.

That bashful grin was so adorable and precious she couldn't help but grin. The number of faces he made with her - she wanted to see more of them. Momentarily disappointed by the veering of his lips, she hummed happily instead when he proceeded to kiss his way towards her neck. When he did that she was always curious about where he would come to a stop, letting her hands run through his hair gently.

"Mmmm you're tasty~ I almost want to eat you right up~" Natsu purred deeply before adding some weight to his words by licking a line across Lucy's neck up to right under her ear.

Lucy shuddered, not sure if it was the effect of his words or the feel of his tongue over her skin. "Hh.. N-Natsu, saying... saying things like that...." She swallowed, "..is... a little embarrassing.." Not that she disapproved. It just made her blush deeply hearing it.

"It is~?" He hummed, mischief and teasing filling his tone as he started teasing her lobe with his lips tugging lightly on it while barely containing the chuckles he could feel bubbling up from within.

"Y-Yes, it is," And that mischievous, teasing tone certainly didn't help any from that slight shiver in her voice. She could hear the amusement in his tone though, and she grinned, a soft whimper escaping when he tugged on her earlobe.

"Well it's still true~" Natsu answere cheekily before his hand pressed against Lucy's hip, pinning her in place under him for a moment as his mouth moved past her ear to press slow languid kisses to Lucy's temple and crown.

"Natsu.." She giggled softly at his cheeky response. So unapologetic, when he was like that it was too cute for words. No, not cute - she couldn't call him cute. But he had his own natural charm that she adored. She closed her eyes briefly with a smile at the feel of those kisses, her hands idly brushing along his sides lightly.
