Naturally she was barely out of breath by the time she got home just minutes later, but she did draw a number of odd stares when they saw her squealing and fleeing from the dragon who would have no trouble whatsoever hunting her down. She laughs, though she quiets down when she reached the guild since she didn't want to wake the children sleeping upstairs. Passing through the guild to take the short cut (for her) she continued through to their little cottage, trotting inside to set the food down and start unpacking. "Oh man, they really went all out with the spices this time." And because she knows Natsu can hear her from whereever he is, she added loudly, "It's such a shame I don't have anyone to share it with!" Actually she's pretty sure she'd turn to ash if she ate the really spicey one.

"Hmmmm alone you say~ Well good thing I'm here to change that isn't it~" Natsu asked perched on top of the window sill and grinning at Lucy from across the room like a shark in front of a school of minnows.

She never could guess where he'd pop up when he decided to climb in the window. And she hadn't sensed his approach so though she said her statement loudly she had been expectantly glancing towards the door as if she thought he'd come in that way. Like a normal person.

Silly her.

She let out a yelp of surprise, looking over to the window to see Natsu in the window. ".. Thief!" She pointed over-dramatically, "Returning to the scene of the crime are you? Stealing my heart, what else have you come for you evil beast~"

Such silliness. But then the next moment he was away from the window and right up in Lucy's face before he stole a quick kiss without saying a single word. He pulled back after a while with a roguish grin before he finally answered her question.

"Your lips~"

She could never resist being silly with him. He brought it out of her, and when he went along with it, it was even better.

When he was suddenly _THERE_ right in front of her, she took a step back in surprise, though it wasn't quick enough to evade his sneaky, stolen kiss. "Mm!"

She put a hand against the counter, nearly going weak in the knees, that fluttering feeling she felt whenever he was near, rebelling like crazy again. Staring at him a moment, she shook her head to snap herself back to the present. "What a sneak-thief you are," she grinned, reaching into their bag and plucking out a small piece of chicken.

"Almost makes me wonder what other things you've been stealing," she reached up to tease him with the bit of food. Here, want some? MAAAYBE she'll let him have it.

He knew he had her but if her legs had given out, his arm would have been right there to catch her before the fall. As it stands he simply leaned her up against the counter until she produced a mouth watering piece of bait for the hungry dragon.

He eyed the morsel for a moment before leaning over to try and take a bit out of it while LUcy was still holding onto it.

He never got enough of ruining her personal space. Especially when he knew how much it effected her when he was up close and personal like this. She glanced at the delicious, juicy piece of chicken in her hand, no bigger than her index finger, then at him. Then the chicken again, and it was clear she was debating whether to let him have it or to tease him a little by eating it herself. OH THE DECISIONS. "Looks yummy, doesn't it?" She said instead, throwing a bit of a cheekiness at him as she grinned.

Personal space. Such a useless concept in Natsu's opinion. Especially when he could clearly tell how happy she was to feel his attentions so keenly.

"Mmm it does. Do you really want me to get that from you?"

HOw could she be anything else than happy? That she knew so well how he felt about her was the greatest gift he could ever give her. She grinned, "Well... I -could- eat it myself, I am pretty hungry. But I read somewhere it wasn't smart to taunt a hungry dragon with food so," she raised the chicken mini to his mouth, "No biting." She warned playfully, clearly intending to feed him that bit of chicken.

And he loved seeing how happy she was with everything. That was why he would often act in a specific to Lucy way when it was just the two of them. Well no he still acted in a specific way even in public.

"Okay okay. Aaaaaaah~!" He said opening hsi mouth to be fed.

Even when he shouldn't! naughty boy. Not that she ever scolded him -- well not seriously, which is probably what encouraged him anyway. She giggles, feeding him the piece of chicken, turning it slowly so he could tear all the meat from the bone. "What do you think? It's not my cooking, but is it spicy enough?"

"Mmmmm~ It's good enough for it not being your cooking. Though now I'll want the next ones like this too~" Natsu hummed with a shameless grin on his face before he teasingly licked her cheek.

"Oh aren't _WE_ spoiieek!" Lucy squealed, giggling as she gave him a playful shove, "Natsu..!" She was tempted to grab his scarf and rub her face on it, but she decided against it, "What's gotten into you today?" She grinned, pretending to huff - though she still plucked another piece of chicken out and offered it to him. She spoils him too much.

That was for the best because it would make her even more irresistible. Natsu nuzzled against her cheek after that anyway and murmured in response.

"Oh nothing. I just don't feel like holding anything back~" He says before pulling away and opening his mouth again for the second morsel.

She had a different idea to make herself even more irresistible to him. In a way this was all part of the plan to spoil him even more rotten than usual. She giggles at the nuzzling, "Mm, well good, you're cute this way too," she teased - though when he opened his mouth for the second morsel, she leaned up and stole a quick kiss, nipping his lip before ducking away and intercepting any attempted retaliation with the chicken, giving him a cheeky grin.

"You're still cuter." Natsu pointed out smugly before Lucy decided to take him by surprise with a kiss. Oh how sneaky of her and to think that wasn't even the full extent of her scheme. That being said he fell right for the bait and leaned in to kiss her back only to get a mouth full of a chicken and a grinning Lucy on top.

"Mmm, I won't argue that," she grinned, though she broke into giggles when her sneaky plan went off without a hitch and he had a mouthful of chicken instead of her lips. Not as satisfying, but filling at least? "Want another?" She asked, struggling to contain her giggles.

Natsu chomped and chewed for a moment before swallowing the delicious morsel in one move. When asked if he wanted another, Natsu gladly accepted.

"Sure do. But you won't trick me this time~"

"We'll see about that," Lucy grinned, plucking another piece of chicken from the bag. Though she really should divvy the food and make him eat it properly, this was far too entertaining. "Catch~!" She tossed it up to him this time, waiting to see if he'd catch it with his hand or his mouth or not.

Since she tossed it up, Natsu didn't hesitate and got ready to snap it up in his mouth on its way down before Lucy could try to do something to it last minute!

Hrmmm - she wouldn't have time or angle to steal another kiss, but she had a better idea. When his attention was on snapping up that chicken when it came down, she waited long enough for him to catch it before she leaned forward the slightest bit, cupped the side of her mouth and .. ~blew~ lightly, just enough to brush past his neck and ear.

The reaction was instantaneous as he straightened up instantly with a shudder of absolute delight at the sudden attack Lucy sent his way. So much so he forgot to even chew his prize while he looked over to Lucy in shock and awe.

She had. THE sassiest grin on her face. Like. People would normally need a license to have that much smug and sassy in one smile. Leaning against the counter, she tilted her head slightly, "Aren't you going to eat it? I bet it tastes.. d~e~li~cious." she teased, deliberately dragging the word out. She even reached over with a delicate finger to tap it against the chicken he'd caught, then licked some of the grease and flavor off of the tip of her finger.

"Mmm~, yummy." She should really stop playing with him. And teasing him and tormenting him, but it was SO HARD TO RESIST. She glanced down to the bag, deciding to snatch one for herself before she spent the entire evening feeding him chicken.

That remark quickly snapped him out of that momentary daze but its effects were already a given at this point. His eyes tracked her every motion before she was finally done and now. Well now she had such a proud look on her face after such a simple trick.

"You....You're going to get yours if you keep teasing the dragon like this."

But teasing the dragon was so much fun! Especially when she was actually able to rattle him. She nibbled on her piece of chicken innocently, though her amusement at his reactions was through the ROOF. "Teasing? I wouldn't -dream- of teasing you." She replied oh so innocently. "Here, let me get that for you," she plucked up a paper towel and leaned over to him to wipe a bit of chicken from his lips. "There, pretty as a picture. Anyway, I'm just being helpful. This is teasing." she leaned over again, this time to gently lick a corner of his mouth, and lean back again, her smugness growing to an impossible degree.

Oh really? Well too bad she didn't account for the fact that her teasing would bring her right within arm range of the dragon. So while he was a little surprised with her sudden move, his arm shot out and looped around Lucy's waist pulling her flush against him.
