Christmas and Thanksgiving were going to be difficult holidays for Regina and the kids. They had, for the most part, mended from the deaths of their friends, but this would also be the first Christmas slash Thanksgiving without them. So for that afternoon, she decided to let Natsu distract the kids and the dog for the time being. More than likely they were bundled up and jumping in piles of leaves outside, or begging Natsu for more demonstrations. As for herself, she went to help distract Regine with preparing food. Happily, Regina only took Lucy's bright smile for her natural demeanor and not for any other reasons.

On the other hand, Lucy hadn't been able to stop smiling since the night she and Natsu were.. er.. very intimate together. Assuming she didn't drift off into a dreamy spacey mode when she thought no one was looking. And if she actually saw him, forget it - it took everything she had not to grab him and hold him close. Heck, before that night she had difficulty keeping her eyes off him - it was more so now. SO it was probably for the best that she had something like cooking and entertaining Regine to occupy her attention.

If Regine noticed the way Lucy's conversation chatter kept turning to the topic of Natsu unconsciously, she didn't mention it, though she did seem amused for some reason. Currently the ladies were discussing options for the dinner - the kids wanted to start eating spicier food to - obviously - be more like Natsu after all.

"Oh really. So you like keeping me all to yourself then?" Natsu murmured teasingly before leaning in to press his lips to Lucy's briefly before she attacked his chin.

The kids were such an exception that they didn't need to be mentioned. He caught those glimpses she gave him when entertaining them and her smile seemed even warmer than usual too. Which meant it was all the more reason to keep up his antics with their two not!children.

"Ah? So you don't like me selfishly wanting to keep you close to me all the time?" She playfully pulled away from him, deliberately putting distance between them with an wicked grin. "So are you saying you're okay with sharing me with everyone then? How noble."

Oh no she didn't. Someone was forgetting who was in who's arms. She didn't get far before Natsu pulled her in close with one hand reaching for hers and pinning it above her head as if to restrain her under him.

"Putting words in my mouth will get you in trouble with this dragon, princess~"

Yes, yes she did. Call her crazy for being entertained by teasing him so. But --

Erp! Startled for a second when he pulled her back in, she glanced towards her pinned hand, and then back at him, considering her response, "But that is what you implied, isn't it?" She knew otherwise of course, but she had to play up the role for the most fun for them both.

He won't call her crazy. A weirdo definitely but not crazy~

He leaned in closer still, a big smirk on his lips painted from corner to corner of his mouth as the mischievous flame flickered in Natsu's eyes.

"It's not. I meant it's the first time you said you'd keep me all to yourself~ Since usually that's my role~"

She'd counter his weirdo by calling him one back. Her crazy, reckless weirdo. But oh that mischievous smirk. She couldn't get enough of that. She grinned back at him, "Oh, it is?"

Huh. Guess it is. She'd certainly always thought it, but saying it out loud - "Well... if you'd rather, I could leave the role to you...but it won't stop me from wanting to keep you all to myself."

"Oh I think I'm willing to share the role~ If it's with you." Natsu purred and finally claimed Lucy's lips again before she could get another word out.

His tongue brushed against her lips while his hand started moving over Lucy's body again this time pulling her closer after letting go of her pinned wrist. Being wanted and her wanting to monopolize him had worked him up quite a bit.

"M-" Aww she didn't get her teasing comment out. Though she didn't mind, she smiled still, giggling under her breath. It was tempting to let her lips part for him, though she kept her mouth closed, the smile turning into teasing smirk, as her newly freed hands slid over his shoulders and back again, almost deliberately denying him the deeper kiss he sought. (No, not almost. Deliberately denying him it, just to tease him)

Oh he felt that intent to keep him from his prize and Natsu decided to take a more hands on approach as he moved his hand under Lucy's back and all the way to her rear. Where he pinched the cheek sharply.

If she'd been paying attention she might have felt his hands wandering lower - she'd been so caught up with playing at not letting him reach his prize that when she felt that pinch, her lips parted automatically with a squeak of surprise.

Victory! Natsu immediately dove in for a deep kiss, his tongue invading Lucy's mouth when she squeaked from the pinch. His lips curved into a cheeky grin as well as he kissed Lucy, melting into the sensation completely.

Oh she could feel that cheeky grin against her lips, even as she melted with him, granting a few minutes of peace with her hands gently caressing his body. Her touch was light and warm, not tickling , scratching or pinching but simply being - feeling his skin under her hands with a gentle desire. Breathing through the kisses each time was even getting easier at this point. Though each kiss from him made her greedy for more.

She had no need to be greedy as he would gladly give everything he had to her. Those warm gentle hands lured him in closer, letting his chiseled physique press down on top of Lucy while his tongue danced with the mage's, coaxing it in and out of his own mouth as he growled almost possessively.

He was of course, the only one she would tolerate possessiveness from. The amount of love he had for her, how much he wanted her as his and only his - it was dizzying, intoxicating, and she was utterly drunk on him. Hearing that growl brought a warmth into the smile that was always for him, and she rewarded him for the sound by holding him that much closer, leaning that much more into him as her kiss turned more aggressive, her own version of a growl uttered in response. Though her 'growls' were more of a throaty purr.

Throaty purrs were accepted quite heartily. Natsu's hands slowly grew more demanding and eager, careesing her form as he let his chest press dow on Lucy's to enjoy that sensation of having no space between each other anymore. As if that was more important than breathing. It probably was just that vital in his mind.

She shifted against him, finding minimizing space between their bodies to be just as vital. Needing to be as close to him as possible was equal to breathing for her. As his touch grew more demanding, she responded by pressing her body closer to him, her arms holding him tight enough that he could feel the press of her chest to his, her fingers pressing into his hair as if she intended to keep him from ever pulling back.

He broke the kiss first this time, before he turned his hungry lips to Lucy's throat and shoulder. "You really have no idea how easy you can light my fire. It's kinda scary but exciting at the same time~" Natsu chuckled deeply before teasing her skin with his fangs and tongue.

She gasped softly, letting out a soft, shuddering moan, fixing brown eyes on his face as he spoke. "R..really... I'll have to do it more often then," she teased with a sultry smile. "But I never thought I'd hear you call anything scary and exciting like this..."

"It's scary because I feel tempted to just let go and give into the instincts and wants you bring out in me. I don't know when I'd stop if I did." Natsu confessed, his breathing growing more labored as he wanted to fully enjoy Lucy.

She paused at that, her breathing catching in her throat slightly. Now why did _THAT_ send a little twitch of .. of something - curiosity? excitement? - up her spine..? Just trying to imagine a Natsu that wasn't holding back.... Goodness, considering he drove her wild just from holding back that much...

And yet ... and yet ... "Natsu..." She reached up to touch his cheek gently, "Why .. would that be frightening?" Well she didn't want him to hold himself back any more than he did, but - she refrained from mentioning that JUST yet.

Because she was just as big of a dare devil as he was in some things. Natsu turned his eyes back to Lucy when she lightly touched his cheek. "Why? Because I don't know how far I would go." That unknown is a bit of a blind jump for his liking especially when he wanted nothing but memorable moments with Lucy when intimate.

That was definitely his influence. Their whole relationship has been a bit of an unknown at first too though - but she supposed she could understand his hesitance. "You don't have to be afraid though." She smiled, "I trust you." She wasn't sure how far he'd go, certainly, but if nothing else she trusted he'd stop if she told him to stop, or if she was uncomfortable.

Or exhausted.

"You told me you didn't want me to hold back," she added, gently brushing her fingers against his cheek. "... I don't want you to do that either. So if you ever feel like letting go...let go."

He didn't want her to have to stop him though. That was the point. He saw such an eventuality as a failure on his part. But Lucy's words were unlocking the locks on those concerns one by one and he could feel himself grow even more excited.

"If I do...I might just quit talking for the most part." He confessed though already the tone of his voice was growing huskier and deeper than usual

Exhaustion didn't count towards that failure, right? But her main concern was reassuring him. Whatever they might jump into blind, they would jump into it together. And from that tone of voice, she would suppose that he was feeling at least a little reassured.

Her cheeks grew warm in spite of herself, just gazing at him happily, enough that she laughed softly, brushing her fingers back through his hair. "As much as I love the sound of your voice... We've never needed words when it mattered most."

Well no it didn't. That laugh only helped ease his worries even more. His green eyes trained on Lucy's lovely face and noted how absolutely lovely she looked with rosy cheeks and eyes swimming with her love for him.

"Well when you put it like that I guess you have a point. Still I don't want you to forget. Even if I don't say it, there's no one I love more than you~" Of course he still loved his dad but that was a different kind of love and even he knew it.
