midnightstar | A SURPRISE LENALEE APPROACHES; Command?

Despite all of everything the Black Order has been through, it was business as usual for the various teams. Lenalee and Allen were in one team with Miranda and a few Finders. Lucky them, their mission took them to the mountains - beautiful scenery, but cold weather. Fortunately they managed to find a small inn with vacancies, so they could stay indoors. Amazingly, Miranda was actually sleeping more peacefully than Lenalee at the moment.

Although after all of the scenarios and seeing all of the deaths in the war with the Earl and fighting the akuma, (...not to mention what she personally has been through), it really should come as no surprise that Lenalee's sleep was less than restful. While she managed to snatch an hour or two here and there of sleep, worries about her friends, her brother, and one exorcist in particular all contributed to making her nightmare particularly bloody and gruesome. When she jerked awake for the second time that night (or was it third, she wasn't sure), she knew she wouldn't be able to get back to sleep right away, so she silently slipped out of her room, padding down the hall. Maybe a glass of water would settle her nerves.

The seconds and minutes passed, and as it quieted down in the hallway and the general hustle and bustle faded as finders, exorcists and staff all returned to their rooms to unwind ...there was a very soft knock at the door.

...and even quieter, "Allen... are you awake?"

Allen was quickly startled out of his reminiscing when he heard a very familiar voice right at his door. "Lenalee?!" He quickly hopped out of bed and opened the door, ushering the girl in before one of the patrolling guards would spot her.

And Lenalee quickly ducked into his room at the ushering, with the door shutting behind her in enough time that said patrolling guard was none the wiser - having come around and down the hall long after they shut the door.

Lenalee looked fairly fidgety, though that might have been because of being in Allen's room at this hour. Or maybe because she had been thinking about the same things he was. "I'm sorry if I was disturbing you." She's about to suggest she could come back another time, but...she doesn't want to.

And she didn't think she'd have the nerve to approach him with the ..mostly innocent request she had in mind if she did.

Allen certainly didn't expect to have Lenalee in his room this late at night however that didn't mean he didn't welcome this twist of fate. That being said he was very curious how come she'd chosen to risk it and just come to him anyway.

"Oh no no you aren't disturbing me at all. You never would."

She smiled fondly, appreciating that sentiment. Hands folding together nervously, she glanced at the floor for a moment, "Well..." She weas sure he was wondering why she was here and not in her own room.

"I was wondering if..." She must be -crazy-. ... and she is - crazy about him. She lifted her head to glance at him with a mix of hesitance and hope. "If I could stay with you...tonight. Here." It's a sincerely innocent request!

Whether it stays that way on the other hand -- probably not.

Her meek and also hopeful request actually made Allen's mind ground to a screeching halt for a moment. She wanted to....spend the night with him. Yes the request was innocent enough but then what happened in the forest proved things might not keep staying innocent.

"R-Really? You want to? I mean of course I don't mind at all!"

She tried not to look TOO happy at the agreement. "Really..?" She rocked a bit on her feet, her smile quickly taking place on her face.

Nevermind the rioting butterflies in her stomach, excited and nervous at the same time. She hadn't wanted to sleep alone, and she remembered how happy she felt when he had his arms around her, or when her arms were around him.

This might be a bad idea ..but how could it be? "Thank you, Allen..!"

Tried being the key word. But Allen didn't look none too upset about this outcome either as his lips seemed frozen in a permanent smile now. Luckily enough the bed was big enough for them both and given her wording she would likely want to sleep on top of him anyway.

"Please. I should be thanking you. So ummm how should we settle this?"

Thanking -her-? That would be silly! "Well ah.. it's your bed, so.. so you should get in first, and I'll just... I'll take the other side?" Stop imagining curling up to and on him, Lenalee. Stop imagining the time you spent with him in that secret place -stoppit right now!

"Oh. Um yes that makes sense I suppose." Allen said with a small nod before he found himself reaching for Lenalee's hand to pull her over to the bed with him. He sat down on the edge of the bed and climbed up only to then suddenly tug Lenalee on top of him.

"oh...sorry I just..."

Lenalee certainly didn't mind him taking her by the hand to pull her over to the bed. She had initially planned on climbing onto the mattress next to him and then ..maybe scooting a little closer.

"Ah!~" Lenalee voiced her surprise with the sudden tug, but the ending result... definitely wasn't something she had a problem with.

Actually it made her remember..other things very clearly. "Erm... no no.. it's okay..!" A pause, becauase she could easily get comfortable like this. But.. "Should I .. um.." She felt her cheeks getting pinker. "Do you want me to ...to get off?"

This position for the two of them also meant he was looking straight into Lenalee's eyes as she rested fully on top of him. That familiar weight and warmth quickly feeling him with a sense of completion.

"Only if you really want to. I don't mind this at all..."

Lenalee shook her head with a shy smile, "No I'm...really comfortable like this." She admitted, "I was just worried since you might not get any sleep." .. "With me on top of you." ... "I mean... like this..." GAH, everything she was saying was coming out not at all the way she meant.

"Oh I wouldn't worry about that" That was a lie pure and simple but then not sleeping in exchange for the things his mind was slowly steering him towards? A rather fair trade in his honest opinion.

"Would you um pull up the covers over us?" Oh yes saying it out loud like that made it very clear they were about to spend the night together. innocent or not.

Lenalee ohs, reaching back for the blanket, "Yes, of.. of course..!" She shifted a little, tugging the blanket until it was comfortably up in place. Then glancing back at him with a smile, "How is that?"

Well wasn't this a cozy little arrangement. Allen couldn't help but shift his hands up and around Lenalee's waist as he looked up at her with a daze followed quickly by a smile.

"It's perfect. Just like you"

Extremely cozy. So cozy she couldn't believe she hadn't asked to stay with him like this sooner. Well..there were plenty of reasons why she hadn't, and not a one of them she was paying mind to. She felt herself blush again, when his arms slid around her waist, and she chuckled, "Not yet." She corrected, settling herself until she was comfortable - and stealing kiss in the process of slipping her arms under him too. "Now it's perfect."

...maybe too perfect- as close and comfortablel she was, with his arms around her and vice versa, sleep couldn't be furthest from her mind right now.

The reasons why didn't come to this sooner hardly mattered. She was there now with him and that was all it took to chase the very notion of sleep out of his mind. Allen quickly leaned into the kiss as well, making it so Lenalee took a bit longer to pull away.

"Is it now~?"

Darnit Allen they're supposed to be going to sleep -- well that was the original plan anyway. It's pretty much about to go through the shredder isn't it. Lenalee had to force herself not to kiss him again in a sad attempt at trying to stay on track that was going to be derailed with relative ease. Especially since she was already barely more than an inch away from his lips when she responded, "You don't think so?"

Blame it on his energy reserves? Either way Allen couldn't help the sly look slowly taking over his features while he slowly brought his hands up along the thin fabric on her back.

"Mmmm I think it's hard to decide which is more perfect when all of them feel perfect to me~"

Lenalee chuckled softly, "Now you're stealing my responses," she murmured softly, the feel of his hands sliding up along her back giving her a delicious feeling. Enough of one that she relaxed completely, her body pressed against his as she leaned in with another kiss. Though she did have presence of mind to try to remind him of their original goal. "Mmh, ..Allen, I...weren't... you tired...?"

"Am I stealing them or are they just mirroring my own~" Allen retorted cheekily. He could feel her body down to the very last curve rest on top of him completely and that sensation was pushing sleep even further to the back of his mind.

"Mmmm did I look tired?" Well if he was it certainly wasn't the case now.

Lenalee giggled, "I can't argue that, I suppose." She rested her chin against his shoulder, considering the question. HAD he looked tired? No, when she thought about it -not when they were..involved in that meadow, nor when they walked back and he had all that food - which normally made a person sleepy! But he was hardly a normal person. "No, I suppose not." For that matter, Lenalee was hardly tired herself. Feeling his hands on her back and his body beneath her was making her even more alert, if anything.

With her head positioned like that, Lenalee had left her neck wide open to Allen an invitation he did his best to resist but ultimately failed in doing so. Allen slowly pressed his lips to the side of Lenalee's neck while his hands or more accurately one of them started trailing back down her spine, reveling in the feeling of her body under his fingertips.

She sucked in a breath of surprise, her body shivering slightly in the sheer pleasure of the moment. She exhaled again, a noise that was practically a purr as she tilted her head slightly to let him reach more of her neck, "Allen.."

Yep, sleep couldn't be furthest from her mind right now. Especially with her fingers slowly starting to slide through his hair and against his cheek in a caress.
