Since graduating from the Academy, life has been..interesting for Alisa, to say the least. She's been kept very busy, since she was upholding her promise to her mother on showing her the proper way to run the company, and it wasn't easy to put in those changes. Though it would have been a lot harder if she didn't have the support of those around her. But because of that, she hadn't been able to get time to get to visit Rean as much as she liked.

Translation: As much as she liked = every day. She did get to visit - or vice versa - at least on the weekend, and she talked to him almost every night thanks to the range on the ARCUS. Just as finished up for the night, she made her way up to the penthouse, glancing around to make sure she was alone (And you never know with Sharon) in order to take out her ARCUS once more and see if she could get a hold of Rean before bed. She was planning on seeing if he was in the area - alternatively, she was sure she could get away for a visit, if he wasn't busy.

She would forgive him, but .. she'd feel a little disappointed if he did make a mess of things. So it's wise that he didn't push the matter. Though they've both been awkwardly silent after the slip up, and Alisa clears her throat a little nervously, "Is... is that okay...?"

He wasn't trying to make things awkward so when she timidly asked that of him, Rean blinked before leaning in close and answering with a sweet if brief kiss from his lips.

"Of course it is. I would never rush you into anything this important." Even if the next opportunity could be months from now.

Well to be fair, she was just as guilty of making things awkward. All sorts of thoughts were scrambling about in her head. All sorts of thoughts that come to a screeching halt with that short and sweet kiss from her love.

The worried, nervous expression immediately melted into a relieved smile at those words, and she nodded, "... thanks, Rean." It felt silly to thank him for being understanding - she knew in her heart he would be. "I -do- want to .. be with you, it's just..." Not quite ready. It's a scary thing, taking that kind of a step, even when you love and trust your partner with every fiber of your being.

Rean quickly shushed her down before nuzzling gently against her cheek with his eyes closed.

"You don't need to say anything more. I understand completely~" ANd no he was not just saying that. After all he knew exactly how big of a deal that really was for the both of them. He was sure he wanted to take that step but never if it meant forcing Alisa to do so before she was ready completely.

Rean was never the sort to simply say things without meanming them. And ... she actually hadn't even considered that he might be nervous about it too. So she pulled him closer into her arms and sighed softly, closing her eyes as she basked in the feeling of his nuzzling, "...I love you, Rean." she murmured against the spot she was tucked into.

"Mmmm and how much do you love me~?" HE asked with a hint of mischief. Just becaue he was feeling overly affectionate at this time didn't mean he was above teasing his beloved over it too. After all she would clearly do the ame back at him if she had the initiative.

Oh she definitely would - and she would get revenge on him one day, and turn that question around on him. But for now, she chuckled softly, "Hmmm... my love for you runs deeper than the waters of Lake Lacrima." she giggled, "Or did you want me to -show- you how much I love you?"

"Hmhmhmhm~ I wouldn't mind a more...live demonstration~" Rean smirked but not in a mean fashion while his hand slowly rose to gently caress against ALisa's cheek, the fondness behind that gesture spellbinding for both himself and Alisa.

Alisa laughed, though she closed her eyes and nuzzled into his palm, ".. I think I can do that." she murmured, pressing her lips to his palm, then his fingers lightly before slowly forward to claim his lips as rightfully belonging to her and her alone.

Oh a kiss like that was perfect indeed for conveying just how dear he was to her heart and also giving him the opportunity to convey the same as he pulled Alisa closer than before, simply using the press of his lips and nothing more while he hummed with delight and happiness at being able to do something this wonderful with her.

That was precisely why she chose to give him that sort of kiss. She didn't try and make his own kiss more passionate herself, since she could feel the message in his own kiss loud and clear. He'd feel her shiver against him a little as she matched the sound of his hum happily.

When she did pull back, it was less to get a breath and more to give him a loving smile, "...how was that?"

Rean's eyes fell shut when the two shared that adoring moment where both of them wanted nothing more than to show just how much they treasured one another. The smile he had afterwards however was warmer and more radiant than ever before.

"It was perfect~"

Just seeing that smile from her beloved put an even bigger smile on Alisa's face, "Heehee, then I'll have to remember that for every kiss forward, so I can see that same smile on your face every time from now on." She teased. Anything to keep seeing that heart melting, soul crushing smile of his.

That teasing only made his heart beat ever fonder for Alisa. He felt so absolutely blessed to have been loved by someone so wonderful. He slowly pulled her hand up to the front of his lips and he kissed the top, eyes slowly closing in the bliss of hte moment.

"And this?"

Now that was unfair, such a sweet, tender gesture. If he could hear her heartbeat it was going ten miles by the minute, assaulted with so many different emotions running through her at that one little gesture. "...Rean..." How could she even put to words the feelings running through her watching him do that, as much to the feel of his lips against her hand as the blissful look on his face.

OH, right, he was asking her opinion or something. Sorry she was a bit dazed and dreamy eyed for a few...minutes, so she quickly shook her head to snap herself out of it. "Um..!" ...... nope, lost the plot just from that. "What?"

For a moment he wonders if he might have gone a little bit overboard and yet her dazed reaction is all the reassurance he needs to know that is not the case and he gives a knowing chuckle hearing her question.

"Oh Nothing. I already have my answer~"

Overboard - it was -Quite- the opposite from that reaction from Alisa, and she grinned a bit sheepishly at Rean's response. "Ahaha - sorry." She kind of lost track of w hat he was saying just from that. She nuzzled against him again, "..I really lose track of time when I'm with you." Time and everything else, judging the way she completely blanked out from a kiss to her hand.

"I don't think that's a bad thing if you ask me~" More time spent with Alisa was always welcome and if he could extend that perception for them both just by being so close to let his love for her block out the rest of the world, who was he to say no?

Alisa grins, "Only because we don't have to do anything but be with each other right now." She pilloed her head against his chestt with a sigh, gently running her hand along his side, "I feel like it it might be a little different if we had things we were supposed to do." She glanced at him, "I know being with you like this would definitely be preferable to paperwork." She paused, making a face. "... that sounded better in my head than it did out loud."

This time Rean actually laughs, a light weightless feeling to his voice before he pauses enough to smile back at Alisa.

"I would be more worried if I wasn't at least a little bit preferable to paperwork~"

Ah, and she thought just seeing his smile was enchanting enough. Hearing that laugh of his makes her nuzzle into him more, "Well you don't have to worry about that." She suddenly 'ohs'! "Actually... there is ONE kind of paperwork ..."

Now it was Rean's turn to be confused if a little lost but not beause of being in a daze of love this time.

"Ummm there is?"

Alisa nodded, giving him as serious a look she could manage. For all of ten seconds. "Well .. I've never written them before but considering who the subject is, I think it'd be easy to get lost in writing love letters to you." She grinned, "Although I *GUESS* being with you would still take precedence over that." Yes, she did just basically say she was going to send him love letters. One for every day they were apart! ... okay probably not THAT many.

"O-Oh that's what...aah I see." Was the happiness showing on his face even as he blushed? Probably because Rean hadn't even considered that possibility so the promise of getting letters like that from Alisa...it made his heart race even more.

Alisa grinned at his realization, "They're probably not going to be that good so don't get your hopes up TOO much." But the fact that they'll all be letters from her, with her feelings and occasionally telling him how things were in Roer, welp. Heck, she would even subtly drop hints if she would be in certain areas, in case his missions took him through that way like how he was originally going to pass through Roer, in the hopes that she could meet up with him at some point.
