Christmas and Thanksgiving were going to be difficult holidays for Regina and the kids. They had, for the most part, mended from the deaths of their friends, but this would also be the first Christmas slash Thanksgiving without them. So for that afternoon, she decided to let Natsu distract the kids and the dog for the time being. More than likely they were bundled up and jumping in piles of leaves outside, or begging Natsu for more demonstrations. As for herself, she went to help distract Regine with preparing food. Happily, Regina only took Lucy's bright smile for her natural demeanor and not for any other reasons.

On the other hand, Lucy hadn't been able to stop smiling since the night she and Natsu were.. er.. very intimate together. Assuming she didn't drift off into a dreamy spacey mode when she thought no one was looking. And if she actually saw him, forget it - it took everything she had not to grab him and hold him close. Heck, before that night she had difficulty keeping her eyes off him - it was more so now. SO it was probably for the best that she had something like cooking and entertaining Regine to occupy her attention.

If Regine noticed the way Lucy's conversation chatter kept turning to the topic of Natsu unconsciously, she didn't mention it, though she did seem amused for some reason. Currently the ladies were discussing options for the dinner - the kids wanted to start eating spicier food to - obviously - be more like Natsu after all.

She made it impossible to not be greedy. Air was overrated. What he needed the most was Lucy and only Lucy. He could hear that lovely grin on her lips, something that became more common place as the days came and went. "Oh the most important thing is it~?" He wanted to hear her say it anyway even if he knew what it was.

Yes, she'd have to agree. Air was absolutely overrated. She also chuckled softly at the question. As if he didn't know. "Of course." She paused, debating between suggesting something that was anything but the actual response, just to be difficult. Discarding the idea for now, she smiled softly. So instead she nuzzled his forehead, "It's you, Natsu.. My Natsu...So naturally the most important word is your name. " she murmured lovingly, "Natsu, Natsu, Natsu-" she added, just as adoringly, but with a hint of teasing .

That smile could melt him every time and his whole body seemed to relax or even melt when she moved to nuzzle at his forehead while murmuring his name over and over again. "Ngh. You're doing it on purpose now. Trying to turn me into a gooey mess of a dragon slayer for you to shape~" He was onto her of course. Didn't mean he was going to stop her.

Weeeeeeell, that hadn't been her goal but it WAS a rather nice bonus. Of course now that he said it, she had to continue teasing him. "Hmm? What was that Natsu..?" She murred with a giggle. "I didn't hear you, Natsu. I'd almost swear you accused me of something horrible, Na~tsu~.." She giggled, "If I was doing it on purpose... I'd say it like this... ~Naaaaaatsu.....~" She definitely purred the word into his ear, long, low and sweet.

Oh he'd just given her the best kindling to keep pushing forward in her endeavor to completely render him powerless against her. Low groans spilled from his lips, the need scorching his very tone of voice as the fire started building up anew.

"You're...getting really good at this." Natsu grunted as he started moving his hands across her back again.

He certainly did. "I have the best muse to give me inspiration for it," she chuckled, shifting to arch her back slightly to let his hands cover more of her, her arms wrapping more snugly against him as she pressed herself against him at his side. "I'd be the worst kind of partner if I couldn't get better every time, right?"

"So now I'm a muse too. Wonder what kind of stories you've already written cause of me~" He said, his tone growing sultry and more mischievous as his hands started focusing around the spots on her back that would really make her gasp.

"You've always been a --hhg.. -- a muse," she breathed softly, her breathing catching in her throat when his hands touched her, sparking that sleepy desire to be with him wide awake and alert. And that tone of voice - that appealing mix of sultry and mischievous.. it was so HIM she shivered, her hands sliding down over his back in response. "Maybe I'll show you some of the things I wrote." She added with a teasing purr.

Well now that was a tidbit of information he didn't know about~ He could pursue that some more later. For now though he was starting to feel frisky again and his hands gave that away quite easily.

"Show me as in show me on paper or show me by doing those things~"

It took her a minute to actually answer him - it was hard to do so when he was feeling frisky like that, especially as receptive as she was to him. She pressed her face against his right shoulder both to nuzzle her cheek against him, and to allow a soft, muffled, giggle at his question.

"H..hmmm..." She murred, pressing a kiss against his neck before she turned her attention to his face, grinning. "Maybe I'll let that be a surprise."

He chuckled and purred against Lucy's neck, squeezing her against him a little more. Somehow even something as simple as nuzzling against his tattoo felt precious and dear.

"A surprise~ Well then I'll have something to look forward to."

She let out a happy sigh as he squeezed her. Something as simple as a hug, when he held her so tight and close, is something she could never get enough of. She idly ran hand up his spine, her tone mischievous, leaning further against him. One hand left his back, while the other decided to distract, two nimble fingers 'walking' up his spine. "Well you know I can never get enough of giving you a little... surprise... now and then."

Oh THAT'S where her other hand went! Because she totally just goosed him on that 'surprise'. Because.. surprise?

That tone sent a tingle of excitement down his spine that was only joined by another and then another as her fingers moved up along it. Lucy was a real dragon tamer alright though he wasn't going to say that out loud any time soon. Giving her that would be a bit too much of a boost and then her cheekyness would make her even harder to resist.

That was about the last though he had before he felt where her hand had gone which cut off his line of reasoning quite effectively as he let out a faint growl of understanding. "Well you certainly make your surprises worthwhile every time~'

It's okay she wouldn't let it go to her head. (Spoilers: She totally would).

She gave him a cheeky little grin at his reaction, letting her hand slide from where she goosed him up his back to join the other hand. "It's because you're worth it, that I do." She purred softly.

Yeah he could say the same and it would be lie.

"Mmmmm I like that kind of reasoning. Because I can use it for you too~" Since she was stealing his lines then he had no qualms in returning the favor.

She broke into a playful grin at that remark, her hand absently tracing over his side as she lifted her head enough that she could look into his eyes, "Weeeeell, I'm big enough to share that." She answered loftily, "But only that." She wasn't about to share him with anyone.

Well...except the kids, she was willing to 'hand him over' to their attentions since odds were, she'd be entertained by him entertaining them too. Bringing her hand up, she curled it into his hair in order to play with his hair lightly, pressing her lips against his chin.

"Oh really. So you like keeping me all to yourself then?" Natsu murmured teasingly before leaning in to press his lips to Lucy's briefly before she attacked his chin.

The kids were such an exception that they didn't need to be mentioned. He caught those glimpses she gave him when entertaining them and her smile seemed even warmer than usual too. Which meant it was all the more reason to keep up his antics with their two not!children.

"Ah? So you don't like me selfishly wanting to keep you close to me all the time?" She playfully pulled away from him, deliberately putting distance between them with an wicked grin. "So are you saying you're okay with sharing me with everyone then? How noble."

Oh no she didn't. Someone was forgetting who was in who's arms. She didn't get far before Natsu pulled her in close with one hand reaching for hers and pinning it above her head as if to restrain her under him.

"Putting words in my mouth will get you in trouble with this dragon, princess~"

Yes, yes she did. Call her crazy for being entertained by teasing him so. But --

Erp! Startled for a second when he pulled her back in, she glanced towards her pinned hand, and then back at him, considering her response, "But that is what you implied, isn't it?" She knew otherwise of course, but she had to play up the role for the most fun for them both.

He won't call her crazy. A weirdo definitely but not crazy~

He leaned in closer still, a big smirk on his lips painted from corner to corner of his mouth as the mischievous flame flickered in Natsu's eyes.

"It's not. I meant it's the first time you said you'd keep me all to yourself~ Since usually that's my role~"

She'd counter his weirdo by calling him one back. Her crazy, reckless weirdo. But oh that mischievous smirk. She couldn't get enough of that. She grinned back at him, "Oh, it is?"

Huh. Guess it is. She'd certainly always thought it, but saying it out loud - "Well... if you'd rather, I could leave the role to you...but it won't stop me from wanting to keep you all to myself."

"Oh I think I'm willing to share the role~ If it's with you." Natsu purred and finally claimed Lucy's lips again before she could get another word out.

His tongue brushed against her lips while his hand started moving over Lucy's body again this time pulling her closer after letting go of her pinned wrist. Being wanted and her wanting to monopolize him had worked him up quite a bit.

"M-" Aww she didn't get her teasing comment out. Though she didn't mind, she smiled still, giggling under her breath. It was tempting to let her lips part for him, though she kept her mouth closed, the smile turning into teasing smirk, as her newly freed hands slid over his shoulders and back again, almost deliberately denying him the deeper kiss he sought. (No, not almost. Deliberately denying him it, just to tease him)

Oh he felt that intent to keep him from his prize and Natsu decided to take a more hands on approach as he moved his hand under Lucy's back and all the way to her rear. Where he pinched the cheek sharply.
