DA KIDLETS because i miss them so

Now that the weather was warmer, the kids were no longer so restless (not that they could be too restless with Natsu around to play with) and were eager to go out and on adventures of their own, both with their older sis/bro/not parents and without. Regine was kept busy helping to tend the guild in their absence, though occasionally she got dragged off by the children for adventures, on days that Natsu and Lucy had work to do.

Although lately there'd been a lot of jobs, so Lucy, at least, hadn't had time to spend with the kids quite so much. Which was why she had suggested taking the kids to the beach for fun, sun, fishing, and whatever else they wanted to do. Good plan, yes? Yes! Nev'd been up since the crack of dawn, full of excitement, and vigor, like a tiny fire-less Natsu. Justyne, on the other hand, had slept in a little more. Lucy just had to put a few final touches on her appearance - since her hair had gotten much longer in the last few months. "Twenty jewels say that Neveren will be knocking on the door in five minutes." She called over to Natsu with a grin.

"Mmmmm well I'm not gonna stop you~" Natsu growled under his breath exposing more of his neck. Natsu couldn't help it, wanting to feel more and more of Lucy's lovely lips on his throat. It just felt so addicting that he couldn't hold himself back from moaning faintly.

It was a good thing he liked feeling her lips on his throat so much, since she wasn't trailing away any. Gently rubbing his shoulders, her weight pressing more against his back as she leaned further against him. Wandering lips started trailing away from the back of his neck to the side, as she chuckled softly.

"Hmm," she pondered, grinning her voice drifted into a teasing whisper, "You couldn't stop me even if you wanted to." She giggled, nuzzling against his neck. And there were those noises she loved to hear so much, and she nipped the side of his neck lightly. He was already bruised there, one more wouldn't make any difference~!

"Mmmmmhmhmhmhm you really think so do you? I could turn things around right now~ you know" Natsu answered with a groan of utter delight. Was he bluffing or serious. Which would Lucy believe? Well it didn't really matter did it? As long as she didn't stopped with those nips and bites that she kept piling on to mark him as her own.

"Maybe, maybe not. I'll just have to keep you distracted from that," she grinned at the sound of that groan. But she didn't intend to stop, even moving closer to his side, her lips trailing up his jaw as she decided the best way to keep piling on the affection was to change angles. Which might be why she was climbing into his lap, leaning forward to nibble his neck.

"Well you're certainly in the right place to keep me distracted~" Natsu purred letting her do as she wished. After all he trusted her implicitly. Why wouldn't he? Lucy had never let him down.

Lucy grinned, tracing small circles on his back with her fingers. "That's true." She murred, her head tilting down to leave little kisses against his collarbone. She trusted him as much as he trusted her, and she certainly intended never to let him down.

Although there was -one- thing she was fairly sure would really distract him. Or if nothing else, it would certainly catch him by surprise. She couldn't help but chuckle a little at the thought as her lips traced their way back up to his jaw, pointedly keeping him distracted by letting her lips trail near his lips, and slipping away to land soft kisses elsewhere.

That sound was making him feel all tingly and restless. That soft sweet sound coming from those pursed lips. It was just so damn addicting. He felt her moving around, his lips parting a little with each sigh of utter bliss she got out of him.

If she was distracting him from something then she could consider that mission accomplished as his eyes drifted closed.

She hadn't been distracting him from anything specific. At least not at the moment - but she certainly felt smug at her successful ability to distract him, chuckling under her breath. "Hmmhmm...seeing you like this is just so...delicious." she purred teasingly.

Having him utterly at her mercy, completely blissful - it was too enjoyable to see to stop. And his lap was definitely the best seat in the house, as far as she was concerned. But his parted lips were too great a lure, and she found herself brushing her lips against his mouth, her tongue sneaking out to trace over his lips, her own curving into an amused smile.

"Delicious huh? Stealing my lines again are we, my queen?" Natsu growled deeply though it could just as easily have been a purr with how unconvincing he sounded. Natsu wanted nothing more than to just melt in Lucy's tender care.

That quickly came to an end though when he felt her tongue rolling over his lips. As if there was any better way to get his attention. He tried to lean back against Lucy's to see if he could steal a kiss before she caught on.

For a second, Lucy looked surprised. "Am I?" Hrmmm. "Maybe I should think of a different adjective then, hmm?"

Lucky for him, that distraction in trying to think of a suitable adjective allowed for him to get close enough to steal at least part of a kiss. The feel of his lips against hers got her attention quickly enough, and she squeaked a giggle, pulling away. "Hey..!" Her scolding had little effect, she was sure, especially given the warm amusement she was trying to hold back. "I was thinking there."

"Nah this works. I'll just have to charge you extra~" Natsu answered with another cheeky grin on his face which only grew more than she tried to reprimand him. He knew what he did and how much she enjoyed it. It was rather hard to given teh warmth of her smile.

"Well clearly you weren't thinking hard enough if that was all it took to interrupt you~"

"Charge me extra?" Oh he had nerve! "And what are your rates?" She inquired loftily. Leaning back with her arms draped around him lightly, she tilted her head slightly, taking in his expression, thoroughly amused and approving of that grin. "Mmm, now that I think about it...Oh, I can think of quite a few words to describe you.."

"My rates? Oh they're real reasonable. I'm thinking a hundred kisses per use per person who heard the lines~" Natsu answered after very little time to think. That was just how quickly he'd found his personal answer.

"Ohoh you can can you? Let me hear some of em then."

Somehow, Lucy managed not to giggle. "A hundred kisses?" Per use, per person who heard the lines? "That *IS* reasonable. I'm all fired up." She added, attempting to purr the words, but laughter coloring her voice and ruining the effect.

She shifted to give him a gentle push onto his back, leaning over him, "So that's two hundred kisses, isn't it? I should get started, or I'll be in debt to you forever." She grinned. And he wanted to hear some of the words too? Hrm, she leaned further down to place her kisses from his throat to his chin, punctuating each one with a word. "Intoxicating. Succulent. Delectable. Inspiring, mmm-"

Natsu knew she'd like his pricing. AFter all it was so hard to keep apart for long enough that any excuse was more than welcome. Natsu flashed her a fanged grin before nodding.

"Yeah sounds about right." He said and leaned in to try and steal a kiss from her lips on his own before she went down on him from throat to chin.

"Ohohoh it almost sounds like you really want to eat me up~" He teased with a breathy laugh.

So true. She grinned as he sneaked another kiss, and nuzzled against him. "Hmm, though if you keep stealing kisses I'm never going to make my quote either. Thief," she teased. Not that she'd ever stop him.

She nibbled his throat gently, giggling at the teasing. "Mmmm, maybe I do~!" She teased back, "I can never seem to get enough of you." She grinned, leading her trail of kisses up his throat to finally halt at his lips.

"A dragon likes to steal treasures when he feels like it. Kisses from a queen count as a treasure~" Natsu answered with a cheeky rumbling from his throat and chest. Warm and playful as well as loving.

"That's good. Because I don't want you to get enough of me~ Even though you keep trying to ~"

She chuckled at his cheeky response, affectionately nuzzling against him, "It feels a bit like cheating though." She teased, playing along with him. "Hnn, you don't have anything to worry about. I could never get enough of you, no matter how much I say otherwise. Not that she seriously ever wanted to have enough of him. It was an impossible thing anyway.

"Oh really? I'll be sure to remind you then next time you try and stop me from getting my own fill of you~" Natsu answered with a cheeky smirk before he let his fangs lightly graze against Lucy's throat. If she kept making those sounds he wouldn't be able to hold back for long.

"Did I ever do something like that?" She grinned innocently. Of course she did, and knew darn well, but she could play dumb at least. The feel of his fangs brushing against her throat lightly earned a soft intake of breath, shivering slightly. Wasn't she the one that was supposed to be treating him to all the affection?

"Yes you did? Or maybe I'm lying? Only one way to find out really. Put you in the same situation as the last time!" Uhoh he was going to take advantage of that opening. THe look on his face said as much.

"I guess I'll never know -" At least that's what she started to say, until she caught that look on his face, and heard his words. "O-Oh you think so do you?" She laughed, though she made as if to lean away. She's supposed to be doing the attacking here~!

If she wanted to do the attacking then she should have used less words to do it. He had ample time to come up with ideas then.

"Yep I do~ Do you want me to show you~?"

It's the downside of her being a writer. She tended to get wordy. Whereas Natsu was more actiony. They complimented each other well, that way. "Hmmm, do you think you'll have time to?" They couldn't -both- go on the offensive right? ... right?

At least that's what she's thinking, considering she leaned forward to nip sharply at his neck.

"I think I do~" Natsu answered without shame or hesitation before she actually managed to steal the initiative from him leading Natsu to growl out loud, a rumbling note from the depth of his chest a before his hands took hold of Lucy's hips while he tried to retaliate in vain. The queen would get first hit in it would seem.
