Now that the weather was warmer, the kids were no longer so restless (not that they could be too restless with Natsu around to play with) and were eager to go out and on adventures of their own, both with their older sis/bro/not parents and without. Regine was kept busy helping to tend the guild in their absence, though occasionally she got dragged off by the children for adventures, on days that Natsu and Lucy had work to do.

Although lately there'd been a lot of jobs, so Lucy, at least, hadn't had time to spend with the kids quite so much. Which was why she had suggested taking the kids to the beach for fun, sun, fishing, and whatever else they wanted to do. Good plan, yes? Yes! Nev'd been up since the crack of dawn, full of excitement, and vigor, like a tiny fire-less Natsu. Justyne, on the other hand, had slept in a little more. Lucy just had to put a few final touches on her appearance - since her hair had gotten much longer in the last few months. "Twenty jewels say that Neveren will be knocking on the door in five minutes." She called over to Natsu with a grin.

Lucy grinned, "Yeah, and I couldn't be more thankful for that." She hadn't even thought about it at the time, how strange it was that he broke the charm spell so easily for her, but the others didn't come to their senses too.

She paused at the taunting, letting out a soft huff. "Ohhhh, is that so? You really think you can resist if I came on to you like this? Just because you'd be expecting it?" HAh. HAH She says. "Maybe we should put that to a test."

"I'd do it again and again for as many times as it would take if I had a choice." Natsu answered solemnly, leaning up to press his lips to the back of one ear while his fingers danced over Lucy's spine before pulling back at her huff.

"Maybe we should~" It was funny how she hadn't caught on that he'd ended up manipulating her subtly like this. Or maybe she just didn't see his true motive behind it all.

Lucy smiled softly, "I know you would, too." She said, leaning against him and humming happily at his touch.

Of course she had suspected he was deliberately taunting her. However, she didn't know about his true motive, never would have dreamed it.

"Ohoo? Okay then." She grinned, "Then when do you suggest we try this 'test'? I think it'd be unfair for me to do it now." Well, unless she left him alone to calm down and relax for a bit anyway. If it was tomorrow, she'd have to ask Regina to keep the kids occupied.

Natsu smirked as she hummed into his embrace like that. She was making it so hard to keep his hands still or in any remotely proper place. Lucy was blessed with such alluring curves after all.

"When hmmm? How about tomorrow morning. A special morning ritual just for you and me~"

Well now he knew how she felt! It was always hard not to snuggle up against him when she was close to him. Nevermind she'd much rather sit in his lap than on a chair.

"Ritual hummm?" She grinned, "Doesn't that imply that we'd have this ritual every morning?" She shook her head, "Not that I have any problem with that. It's pulling away from you that'd be the problem."

Like teaching him how she felt would ever stop Natsu from being Natsu along with all of those delightful temptations that came with the genuine article.

"It would yeah? I already know it's something you like the sound of, My Queen of the stars?"

Nothing could ever stop Natsu from being Natsu. "Queen of the Stars hmm?" She grinned softly, "The titles you give me get more and more lofty, my Dragon King."

She giggled, pulling away and gently tracing her hand over the marks she left on his throat. "But of course I like the sound of it. I'd be able to spend extra time being close to you every morning."

"And yet it's still not good enough for you. I don't think there's words great enough to say how amazing you are in my life~" Natsu flashed her that winning grin of his own before trembling at the touch of her fingertips on his neck.

"Well then that makes two of us. I never feel like i have enough time alone with you~"

"So you say," Lucy chuckled, "I don't need fancy titles. Just hearing you say my name is more precious than gold." Wow, laying the cheese on thick are we Luce? She made a face at herself.

"And think, all these times I'd say words like that were cheesy, and yet... it just seems right when it's with you too." She chuckled, softening at the sight of that winning grin, her fingers continuing to idly brush against his skin, from one side of his neck to the other.

"I feel the same way. It's funny, as much time as we spend around each other, you'd think we'd be sick of each other." Most other couples would probably be at each other's throats if they were around each other as much as Lucy and Natsu were!

"Well you're the writer. You'd think cheesy is something you're used to~" Natsu teased with a cheeky smirk before it softened into that smile that could melt her so easily.

"But then it's the same for me really. And It's even stranger for me to say these things~" Natsu pointed out before tightening his hold on Lucy's body a little more.

"Sick of you? That's impossible and you know it."

"Maybe, but I try to at least make most of my novels cheese-free." She grinned, leaning into him, instantly melting at that smile. Like melted cheese.

"You've always let your actions do the talking for you," she chuckled. It was a little strange hearing him call her things like that - but she kind of liked it too.

"I was just saying as an example," she laughed softly, nuzzling against his shoulder, "You couldn't be sick of me any more than I could ever be sick of you." That much was obvious even before they became a couple, considering how much she let him hang around her, and get away with!

"Yeah that's true. But that's just how I've been and just stopping at actions doesn't feel enough when I'm just with you~" Natsu answered, maintaining that lovely smile.

"Glad I don't have to say it again then~ Because I'd rather use that time to do this!" Natsu answered and claimed Lucy's lips in a very eager kiss.

"What else is there, if words and actions aren't enough for you?" Lucy teased. Oh god, words, actions, /and/ expressions? Unfair. "Just never stop smiling." She could never say no to that smile, and it made her so happy she melted at the sight of it every time. Just as he leaned in to claim her lips, she leaned further into to happily return the affection, sighing as she relaxed in his arms. This was definitely Heaven.

"Never stop smiling? I can do that as long as I have you in my arms and in general." Oh yes he totally said that with a completely straight face. He wanted her to not have even a shred of a doubt of his long term intentions.

He crushed his lips to Lucy's rumbling and growling from the utter bliss being shared between the two of them.

She felt it in her heart, but hearing it out loud had even more of an effect on her than simply knowing it. She grinned happily, brightly, gazing into his eyes. Nodding once, "Always," she breathed, "I'll always be with you." Nothing and no one would ever change that.

Feeling his kiss press more against her mouth, she responded to that sound of his - that rumbling growl that felt like it was running up her spine on a whole other level, her lips parting and her arms snaking around his his neck as she pressed further into his body. Which might not be the greatest of ideas, given that all he was wearing was a towel, and all she had was a robe. Oh well!

That radiant grin was all he needed to see. All he needed in the world to know all was as it should be. Corny as that might have been, it was his genuine feelings on the matter.

When he felt Lucy's lips part for him, Natsu wasted no time slipping his tongue into Lucy's mouth, finding her own tongue and tangling with it as he growled and moaned into Lucy's mouth while his hand went down south over her firm rear.

Sometimes the most honest feelings were also the cheesiest. Kissing him more deeply, her tongue dancing with his in his mouth, it still felt as electrifying, the same warmth - no, a more intense warmth as the first time.

She really didn't want to pull away, ever, ever. His moans were soon joined by her own the longer she kissed him, squirming slightly as she felt his hand wandering lower until it came to its destination. She let out another low moan, this time pressing downward against him, her lips pulling into a bit more of a grin.

He felt that grin and it only spurred him onwards even more as his hands firmly gripped both cheeks and pulled Lucy along his lap while his tongue tangled and rolled over Lucy's coaxing it into his own mouth with a pleased rumbling growl from the bottom of his throat.

He didn't need words anymore to show just how much he needed her right now.

She leaned into the kiss, her tongue following his eagerly, her moan getting deeper as she shifted in his lap with his tug. He didn't need words, and she didn't plan on using words - well, the only word she needed was his name, which was moaned in a soft utterance against his lips.

Without breaking the kiss, she shrugged off her robe, she let it drop to the floor, no longer in her way, letting her hands slide over his back and into his hair, pulling him closer with a low purr.

THere it was. THat moment where she pulled her over the line and into another world of delights and temptation. Natsu's lips curved ever so lightly before he moved one hand up to run his fingers through Lucy's gorgeous mane of golden hair.

He arched up under Lucy's body, eager to feel more of her on top of him as quickly as possible. The need was simply that great, that overwhelming that it could scorch everything away if left unsated.

That warmth she felt in his arms, emanating from his body, and boiling away within her - she'd swear it was his own fire consuming her if she didn't know better. And she did. But it might as well be the way she responded to him.

Pressing her body flesh against his, her arms wrapped around him like a drowning person clung to a life preserver, a moan voiced against his mouth as she rocked slightly in his lap. She had to break the kiss for only a second to catch her breath, but even for that she couldn't help but leave a series of briefer kisses against his jaw and lips.

Natsu would say she played her own part in that sensation for him as well. Every touch every kiss every small muffled noise against his lips. This girl. This amazing wonderful brave and loving girl would start a fire inside of Natsu unlike any other. A fire h always wanted to share with her.

He let her grind on top of him, even pushing back with his hips against her. Anything to show that she was not alone in that sudden impulse to become one again. Even after everything they'd done so far, it was never enough. Never enough and no matter how much she tried to avoid it they always ended up coming back to it and loving it every single time.

As in everything, even in their passions, they mirrored each other. Her enduring love for him would never and could never be quenched. Nor would her need to touch him, see him, speak to him - any kind of contact, intimate or otherwise.

Feeling him pushing back against her as she rolled her hips into him, she muffled a groan against his mouth, her kiss demanding more attention. She couldn't help but love him, and love being with him in every way possible, and knowing he wanted her as much as she wanted him was exciting. She moved her hand from his back to his hip so she could snag his towel and tug the loose knot free from his waist, chuckling impishly. He wouldn't be needing that anyway.

And that was what kept them closer than any other. One beat joined to another in perfect harmony. Something anyone looking in from the outside would think impossible given how rambunctious he acted. And yet they both saw something few did.

The more attention she wanted, the harder he kissed her. Natsu reveled in the sensations flooding through his body. He didn't need to see her hand to know what she did and after the towel slid from her body he was caught off guard when she loosened the towel around his own hips. "Mmmmm frisky are we~" He asked with a cheeky smirk to match her own chuckling. They were beyond saving for their own mutual desires and honestly he wouldn't change that for anything in the world.

It was another unending cycle. The more attention he gave her, the harder he kissed her, the more she wanted. He was making her so greedy! "Mmhm, you're the one that's always telling me to take what I want," she grinned. To take what she wanted, to be more wild. So she was giving it a shot. Mark it on your calendar! She giggled, "I can't help it if what I want most is you." Her grin widened a bit more as she caught his lips for another intoxicating kiss. She really felt like she could get drunk off of his kisses.
