DA KIDLETS because i miss them so

Now that the weather was warmer, the kids were no longer so restless (not that they could be too restless with Natsu around to play with) and were eager to go out and on adventures of their own, both with their older sis/bro/not parents and without. Regine was kept busy helping to tend the guild in their absence, though occasionally she got dragged off by the children for adventures, on days that Natsu and Lucy had work to do.

Although lately there'd been a lot of jobs, so Lucy, at least, hadn't had time to spend with the kids quite so much. Which was why she had suggested taking the kids to the beach for fun, sun, fishing, and whatever else they wanted to do. Good plan, yes? Yes! Nev'd been up since the crack of dawn, full of excitement, and vigor, like a tiny fire-less Natsu. Justyne, on the other hand, had slept in a little more. Lucy just had to put a few final touches on her appearance - since her hair had gotten much longer in the last few months. "Twenty jewels say that Neveren will be knocking on the door in five minutes." She called over to Natsu with a grin.

"I think I do~" Natsu answered without shame or hesitation before she actually managed to steal the initiative from him leading Natsu to growl out loud, a rumbling note from the depth of his chest a before his hands took hold of Lucy's hips while he tried to retaliate in vain. The queen would get first hit in it would seem.

Mwahaha, first blood -! Only no blood, but she smiled against his neck hearing that growl, "And if I don't let you?" She teased, purring the words. Feeling his hands on her hips, she tensed for a second, remembering her position could give him just as much of an advantage over her as her advantage over him. Not moving from the spot she'd nipped him, she proceeded to nibble the sensitive part of his throat, chuckling low.

"Ngh! W-Well I'm just gonna have to try something eeel-" Natsu gasped as she reached that soft spot on his throat. It was just too good to keep it in no matter how much he tried to keep himself in line, Lucy was able to unravel him so easily

If that wasn't bad enough, it seemed she was attempting to make good on her 'threat' of not letting him counterattack. Knowing how easily she could unravel him - and knowing how easily he could unravel HER if she gave him an opening, she had to try keep up her assault!

She giggled at the sound of the gasp, focusing her attentions on his throat with soft nibbles and harder bites. "Mmm, the Queen denieeees the dragon's claim o/~" she purred, her voice a mix of playful and sultry, giggling as she shifted to curl a hand into his hair.

"Ngh the queen is playing with fire." Natsu groaned unconvincingly yet again as he tried to free his hands to try and mount a more convincing resistance. An effort that was doomed from the start as she changed strategies a little between nibbles and outright bites.

Nope nope, no freeing your hands~! "I'm not afraid of the fire," she whispered, "It won't burn me." she was having far too much fun hearing him struggle to retaliate, those groans sending a thrill up her spine. Just eating up each sound of pleasure, and demanding more every time. Tracing her lips from his throat, she let her lips part enough for her to bite at the curve of his neck, her tongue soothing where she applied pressure. Now what would happen if she alternated between biting and sucking on that spot, hmm? Let's find out~!

Dammit. He really wanted to get his hands on her properly and yet here she was stopping him at every turn. To make matters worse she was going solely for his weakpoints making his strength leave him. She was getting far too good at this and the moment she started sucking on the spot, he bucked up under her with a loud growl that was anything but unwilling.

She muffled a giggle against his skin, all too thrilled by his reactions. Naturally she'd learned the areas that got the best reaction, and would exploit them when she planned to overwhelm him with her affections.

That being said, she let out a groan of her own when he bucked like that, making a similar noise as she bit down on the spot she'd been giving so much attention to. Not wanting to leave the rest of him without, she started working her way across his throat to the other side of his neck, pulling her hands up to frame his face, fingers gently brushing against the skin.

She had him completely under her spell. If she needed any more evidence of that fact then the increasingly needy sounds from Natsu's lips would provide it in spades. Even then he went quiet and in awe when she held his face with both hands, instantly allowing Lucy to become his entire world at that time.

The great Dragon king speechless in front of the radiance of his queen. Quite the classic tale only Natsu was living it.

She was purring like the Exceed that caught the fish, hearing those needy noises, trapping him into the spell she wove around him of pure affection. When he went silent, she smiled, her nips easing back into soft kisses, her tongue tracing a gentle trail up his throat and over his chin until she was even with his face.

She paused for a second more, simply drinking in his face with a soft smile, something as simple as that conveying easily how much she loved him. She even closed in more to reward his good behavior as her lips finally came in contact with his with a soft humm of pleasure, lingering into the touch.

That analogy had best stay in Lucy's head given how she ended up making his first kiss go to happy of all people just cause she was fussing about what Asuka had ordered them to do. Not that he hadn't made up for that in spades already since making his feelings known to Lucy.

Unfortunately for him, the will to fight and resist was being siphoned out of him the longer she hummed and kissed him. It was unbelievably effective and if he didn't find a way to counter he was going to lose this little competition of theirs without a doubt. But pushing her off was the very last thing on his mind. A paradox of a predicament indeed.

Y-yeah, well as far as she was concerned, that 'first kiss' didn't count. Because the recipient was a cat..and he'd made up for that since then. As effectively as she wore him down, she couldn't help but smile into the kiss more, feeling fairly confident that she'd actually managed to beat him in their little competition. All he needed to do was admit it~! And she wouldn't even gloat ~~Yes she would~~ about it!

Too bad for her that letting him admit it would require to tear her lips away from his. Natsu had no intention of cutting the kiss any shorter either since it just felt so right, so good and like utter bliss.

Yes that was definitely a downside to making him admit defeat. Just when she'd managed to hold her need for air back for longer - not as long as Natsu could go without, but she was getting there little by little. She certainly had the incentive for it. So when she finally pulled her lips away to break for air, she chuckled, letting her head rest against his shoulder, nuzzling gently. "Hmm, do you give up yet?" Surrender and admit defeat to the Queen of Cuddling?

"Mngh you really...want me to say it do you?" Natsu asked sounding a little short of breath as well. However he still had a spark of mischief in his eyes though it was merely that as his body relaxed under Lucy's.

"I won't give up if you stop though."

Lucy chuckled softly, "Well, if you don't, I'm just going to keep ambushing you until you do." Oh that mischievous look in his eyes. She mock pouted, "Well if that's how you're going to be.." She grinned, "Then I guess I shouldn't stop." she teased. "But first -" she reached down to pull his hands off of her hips. Not to deny him any contact though, more sliding them up so they rested against her sides. She wouldn't stop him if he moved his hands back though, silly thing that he was. "Stubborn dragon," she teased, relaxing against his body, nuzzling against his lips.

"Oho really? ANd what if That was exactly what I wanted? What then, my queen~" Natsu asked with a smirk before he felt her hands guide his own further up her body but not taking it too far. Her sides would do for the moment though it should have been rather telling that he chose to not tickle her than and there. They had such a good mood going that he really didn't want to ruin it.

"Why how sneaky of you my king~," Lucy giggled. "If that was what you wanted... hrm. I suppose I couldn't disappoint there. But I can be sneaky too~." She giggled.

"Ah..and you made me forget how many kisses I was up to too, shame on you." She leaned against him, "Mm~, now I have to start all over." Though rather than aggressively attacking his throat like before, she proceeded to linger each time she pressed her lips against his skin in a kiss.

"I learned from the best~" Subtlety and cunning was not really his forte and yet Lucy helped him foster both whether intentionally or not. Still he couldn't shake that sense of bliss and absolute happiness she made him feel. Natsu arched under Lucy, feeling her kisses change against him and rather than get him more worked up, they served to soothe and relax him even more.

"Mngh can't say I have a problem with that..."

"I'll take that praise." Lucy giggled, sounding rather smug at it. It still amazed, and amused her how he'd picked up on her subtlety - she shouldn't be surprised though. They picked up on each other's traits so naturally.

Of course each kiss that followed wasn't intended to get him worked up. That would come once he was niiiiiiice and relax, and she could ambush him like she 'threatened' to. He'd never see it coming! Also if she'd kept assaulting him like she had been she would have been entirely too tempted to just molest him~! Kyaa kyaa.

He probably wouldn't mind though. Besides, cuddling against him and getting him relaxed was delightful too.

You should because that's what it is~" He answered just as smugly. Natu's hands slowly slid down Lucy's body but not away from her instead pulling her in and keeping her glued to him while he instinctively exposed more of his neck for her to assault. One fire dragon completely tamed coming right up.

As if she wanted to part from him - though his actions did press her closer to his body. She delighted in the feel of him under her, nuzzling closer towards his neck as he so ~~obediently~~ helpfully allowed her more room to give attention. "Mmm, Natsu..." She sighed in a soft purr, "You really spoil me too much.."

Not that she was complaining. For every gesture that 'spoiled' her, she spoiled him right back, slowly kissing her way down his chin to his throat, and rather than nip or bite, she let her tongue brush against his skin in between kisses.

"Spoil you? You're the one having her way on top of me." Natsu pointed out with a breathy chuckle still before a lout guttural groan of absolute pleasure filled the room. His hands started roaming restlessly along Lucy's spine, giving himself completely to her exploring lips.

"Mmhmm," Lucy wasn't about to deny that, giggling softly, her amusement purring into a soft sigh feeling his hands roaming over her skin, her body shifting a little restlessly. "No complaining, right?" she teased, placing a series of kisses over his neck.

"After all, it's your fault," she pointed out, "Leaving such an enticing banquet, with no fat for me...I can't resist taking advantage of something like that..." She nuzzled under his ear, "And it's not often I get you like this. I have to take advantage when I can." Like now, when she seizes an opportunity to give him a sudden, hard bite with a series of sharper nibbles right where she knew he was sensitive.

That noise. That delectable noise that messed with his head. It was too much to resist so he didn't. Natsu moved his hand up along Lucy's back and lightly cradled the back of her head pulling her in closer still. She didn't get to do this often? Well that would change if this precedent was anything to go by.

"And just mmmnngh how do you plan on taking advantage of it~? Tell me everything~"
