midnightstar | A SURPRISE LENALEE APPROACHES; Command?

Despite all of everything the Black Order has been through, it was business as usual for the various teams. Lenalee and Allen were in one team with Miranda and a few Finders. Lucky them, their mission took them to the mountains - beautiful scenery, but cold weather. Fortunately they managed to find a small inn with vacancies, so they could stay indoors. Amazingly, Miranda was actually sleeping more peacefully than Lenalee at the moment.

Although after all of the scenarios and seeing all of the deaths in the war with the Earl and fighting the akuma, (...not to mention what she personally has been through), it really should come as no surprise that Lenalee's sleep was less than restful. While she managed to snatch an hour or two here and there of sleep, worries about her friends, her brother, and one exorcist in particular all contributed to making her nightmare particularly bloody and gruesome. When she jerked awake for the second time that night (or was it third, she wasn't sure), she knew she wouldn't be able to get back to sleep right away, so she silently slipped out of her room, padding down the hall. Maybe a glass of water would settle her nerves.

That was a good argument actually. A frozen Lenalee is a very big no for Allen. So he abandoned that hypothetical scenario entirely and dedicated to his present moment.

"Mmmm okay. Maybe....just a bit..." Allen said his eyes slowly drifting shut the longer Lenalee stroked his hair.

Lenalee chuckled again, watching him slowly drift off. It was kind of like petting a cat..only without the purring and kneading and sharp little kitty claws. She kept right on running her fingers through his hair too, even well after he fell asleep, occasionally moving her hand to brush against his cheek, or trace the cursed mark over his eye, oh so gently.

But eventually sitting up like that started to get uncomfortable - at least for her - but she didn't want to wake him up. Definitely not. Maybe she could shift him a little...

He would be purring if he could. Instead she would get to watch as Allen became completely unguarded and at peace, his face not even flinching once as she gently touched his cheek and scar. He felt that completely safe in her hands.

Odds were he wouldn't wake as long as she didn't move out of contact for too long.

Perfect. He was really out like a light too, and... he looked so cozy. She was a little jealous by how peaceful he looked. And she DID want to be a little more comfortable while he slept, so she shifted a little, regardless of the fact that Allen might be a little ...okay a LOT...embarrassed when he woke up.

Especially when he found out he had his head pillowed against her chest, with her arms gently wrapped around him and her head resting forward against his, occasionally nuzzling against his neck with her eyes closed. Now THIS was bliss.

Hopefully Komui didn't come looking for them. While the previous position might have been safe from misunderstandings, seeing them like this would probably set him off even more. Not that Allen was even worrying about such things at that point.

No he could feel his other half on an instinctive level and snuggled in closer once she settled in at last and with a last nuzzle he let out a completely blissful sigh before he slipped under completely.

Hopefully Reever and Jerry were keeping him occupied! Lenalee smiled as she felt Allen getting even more comfortable, his breathing evening out. She wiggled a bit into a more comfortable position, her right hand slipping around to hold his human hand, while the other simply curled around his waist. It was peaceful and quiet, she could stay like this for hours. Although not awake, since there was no way she could resist dozing a little with as comfortable as he was and looked at that moment.

Allen had no idea how long his nap had gone but the first thing he noticed when his consciousness started surfacing, was that he was pressing up fully against another softer body. His eyes opened a little quicker as he realized that only to see that his first impression was the truth. He was....nestled snugly against Lenalee. Not just laying in her lap. This kind of closeness...felt too right.

Lenalee had awoken only a few minutes before Allen did, so when she felt his breathing shift a little, she tickled the back of his neck with her breath as she smiled, "Are you awake?"

Oh she was up too? And before him to boot! Allen couldn't help but flinch briefly before slowly turning to look over his shoulder. "Y-Yes I am. When did...you know?" Allen asked slowly, finding himself quite happy to feel Lenalee's arms around him.

Lenalee smiled, nuzzling the back of his neck briefly, "Your breathing changed," she answered. "Sorry I shifted you like that- you looked so comfortable when you were sleeping, that I wanted to get more comfortable myself." And sleep right with him apparently. "How was your rest?"

"Ah. No no it's alright really." Allen quickly defended before he found himself leaning into Lenalee's embrace a little more than he would in front of anyone else.

"How? It was the best nap I've ever had~"

Lenalee grinned widely at that, "I was hoping that it was. I couldn't see your face, but your breathing was so soothing and peaceful.." Now how was he going to be able to sleep in his own bed.. alone! For that matter, how was she?

She just had to go and say that didn't she? Allen's cheeks were growing pinker by the moment and yet he still took Lenalee's hand and brought it right up to his lips loving the the closeness at this precious moment in time.

"I just couldn't help myself~"

"It's okay," Lenalee said sweetly, "Because I love that side of you too." The chivalric, sometimes impulsive Allen. She nudged him after a few minutes, to suggest he scoot out of her arms.

But only because she wanted a better look at him since she sought to trade positions and reclaim the lap that was rightfully hers.

Though she did hesitate a moment, before deciding to sit sideways if only because sitting facing him would be ..extremely intimate. Not that sitting in his lap wasn't, but that was just moreso.

Still she failed to account for one thing and that was Allen's own intent. Rather than leave her arms he actually rolled over to face her before he rolled onto his back and seating Lenalee firmly on top of him. It was only after the fact that he realized what he'd just done.

Oh. Yes, there's.. there's that..factor too. WELL. She'd had good intentions in not flustering him but... now that she was there she didn't really want to get off of him. Her violet eyes wide in initial surprise as she looked down at him, a slow blush burning in her cheeks. ... ... why was that look on his face so enticing?

That was perfect since Allen had no real incentive to ask her to get off of him either. If anything she would feel his hand instinctively resting on Lenalee's hips to keep her on top while his silver orbs gazed at her blushing face and reveled in the beauty of the girl who had claimed his heart so completely.

She stared at him a little longer, before giving a small shake of her head. Her hands lowered to rest on top of his, but it wasn't to move them away, she simply let her fingers skim up his arms until they followed up and over his shoulders, both hands gently coming together to cup his face between them. Leaning down slowly and giving him a tender and loving kiss.

Oh. OH this was very nice indeed. Feeling her hands roam along his arms before she finally pulled him into a kiss. He felt his cheeks start to burn again but he didn't pull back or hesitate, instead pushing into the kiss with a slow burning hunger.

She had fully intended to pull back after that one kiss, but when he reciprocated like that - she lingered just a little bit longer, very much on the verge of indulging in that desire to deepen the kiss. She broke the kiss for a moment, shivering slightly as she found his gaze with a hint of desire in her own. "... I just couldn't resist.." she whispered softly.

"You...don't have to justify it to me. I know that feeling personally...Just seeing you is enough to make me want to kiss you, to hold you, to touch you." Allen shook his head softly before his lips slowly curved into an adoring smile.

"Allen...I .." That smile.. was way more powerful than he realized. It made her want to tell him she wanted him to kiss her, hold her and touch her. She bit her lower lip gently, withdrawing what she was going to say.

Not because she was hesitant, but because if she did, she didn't think she'd be able to tell him to stop at any point, and who knows where their mutual desires would lead them?

"I feel the same way when I see you."

He tilted his head curiously as she failed to finish that thought. If only he could peek into her mind to see what she was holding back. But then did it matter really? After all what she said next was quite the answer.

"I'm truly flattered to hear that~" And very happy. And eager for it to actually happen and put Lenalee's boldness to the test.

If he'd had a peek into her mind, it might have blown his mind. And actually, the longer she sat there on him the more she had the craving to do exactly that. What was it about seeing him under her l...... she suddenly blushed a bright red, "I... I should probably get off of you,ahah.." AHEM.
