Since graduating from the Academy, life has been..interesting for Alisa, to say the least. She's been kept very busy, since she was upholding her promise to her mother on showing her the proper way to run the company, and it wasn't easy to put in those changes. Though it would have been a lot harder if she didn't have the support of those around her. But because of that, she hadn't been able to get time to get to visit Rean as much as she liked.

Translation: As much as she liked = every day. She did get to visit - or vice versa - at least on the weekend, and she talked to him almost every night thanks to the range on the ARCUS. Just as finished up for the night, she made her way up to the penthouse, glancing around to make sure she was alone (And you never know with Sharon) in order to take out her ARCUS once more and see if she could get a hold of Rean before bed. She was planning on seeing if he was in the area - alternatively, she was sure she could get away for a visit, if he wasn't busy.

While he didn't need air as badly, Rean's mind was still spinning wildly after the kiss. Being here with Alisa and indulging in feelings and desires long kept to himself was something of a dreamlike scenario ot say hte least. And yet here they were, nestled and tucked away within Alisa's home and simple...being together. Though he did point out the fact that Alisa really liked to leave those thoughts of hers unfinished in front of him like that.

"Hm?"

It's all part of the mystery! Alisa gave a soft chuckle, letting out a soft, blissful sigh as she nuzzled against him, "Mmm, .. nothing, really." She promised, "I was just...thinking about something, but I think I'll keep it a secret for now..so you have something to look forward to for ...for later." When they meet again, she means, whether it's a month from now, two months, three months or more.

Rean would be lying if he said he wasn't curious about whatever Alisa decided to keep secret for next time but he didn't want to push anymore than he had today. So instead he nodded and brought his lips gently to Alisa's neck while he closed his eyes with a content sigh.

"If that's what you want then fine~"

Alisa shivered, pressing more into him with a soft sigh, "Mmm... I'm sorry," she chuckled a little awkwardly, "But I promise you won't regret it," she assured him with a soft smile. She was determined to bring him so much joy he'd drown in it for the rest of his life.

"Even if you didn't say that I would still never regret anything from you." Rean answered smoothly yet honestly. As natural as anything he ever did. Yes including that infamous head patting. Right now though holding Alisa close felt so much better than running his hand through her hair.

Alisa laughed, "I had a feeling you would say that." She nuzzled against him, "You're really too much, Rean. I feel like you're holding me up to an impossible standard." She teased. "But that just means I have to work even harder to make sure I live up to that." she so didn't want to move - she could forgoe sleeping just to spend every waking minute with him, and then sleep when she got back home. Or cry herself to sleep more likely.

Rean chuckled softly and pulled his face closer with a fond grin. "Now you know how I feel when you talk about me~" What did she really think he wouldn't point out the fact that she was stealing his own words too?

She blinked, then huffed a bit, "It doesn't make it any less true." She giggled softly, leaning over to gently brush her lips against his, "...mmh, do you think we'll be able to stay up all night like this?" She whispered. Just staying in each other's arms and exchanging words of adoration to tide them over for who knows how many weeks and months it'll be till they see each other again. Arcus calls and letters don't count.

"Mmmm well I definitely think we'll do our best to." Whether they actually succeed was a different story. Though it would cost them precious time either way unless they end up sleeping in in which case maybe they could squeeze in another day. Honestly Rean wished he could give her another week let alone just one more day. Unfortunately that was not entirely up to him and odds were he would get a call during that extra week or so anyway. His luck was definitely not the best in that regard sadly.

Alisa chuckled, "Yeah. I think.. I'd be fine, with staying up all night with you." Except the problem there was that they'd both get so content and comfortable they might end up falling asleep in each other's arms whether they meant to or not.

Which isn't really a bad thing, save that it would make morning come, and then Alisa would have to fight to keep smiling for him. "You're too comfortable." She accused with a smile. She could stay like this for hours -- and actually probably has already. She sure didn't know what time it was.

"Hmhm I should hope I am. After all you deserve nothing but the best in anything~" Rean chuckled softly making sure his hold on Alisa was as comfortable as humanly possible for a human body to be for another person. Rean even found himself slowly leaning towards Alisa's neck too.

Alisa grins, "So do you." she countered, nuzzling against his shoulder. Though seeing him start leaning towards her neck, she hid another smile and casually tilted her head a bit more to give him plenty of room to nuzzle in or do whatever he likes, while making herself just as comfortable. "..I think we're lucky Sharon's out. She'd have a field day if she saw us like this." She murmured with a soft chuckle.

Meanwhile wherever Sharon is in Heimdallr, she sneezes.

Rean gives another knowing chuckle before pulling back with the faintest of smiles on his lips.

"You really believe she doesn't at least suspect we would end up like this?" After all she was among the biggest supporters of their relationship given the countless insinuations she made about their feelings for one another.

Alisa let a slight pause follow that question, before she lets out a soft groan, hiding her face against his shoulder, "... no. You're right, she's probably already anticipated something like this. She probably... probably thinks we went even ...further than this and I'm not even mentally prepared for that ye--" Erm! Said too much there. She coughs awkwardly, "I-I mean.." YOU HEARD NOTHING.

Oh yes he heard it but the implications rob him of his ability to string words together so Rean just tucks in closer to Alisa's neck not commenting one what she said though if she really focused on the sensation she would likely feel his face getting a little hotter after she had that slip up.

She's glad he didn't say anything, and she's glad he was tucking his head against her neck because her face was getting just as warm as his - and boy could she feel the warmth in his face. Ahem. Awk warr...d.. she knows he admitted he'd thought about it, and she admitted she thought about it, but... thinking about it was one thing. Actually doing it - she needed to prepare, to psyche herself up for something so intimate!

Rean was certainly not going to push the matter any further than it was already. AFter all it was a very important step in their relationship and while the rest of it wasn't exactly perfect he wanted at least thi one to be flawless in every way. He wouldn't forgive himself if he made a mess of it for Alisa.

She would forgive him, but .. she'd feel a little disappointed if he did make a mess of things. So it's wise that he didn't push the matter. Though they've both been awkwardly silent after the slip up, and Alisa clears her throat a little nervously, "Is... is that okay...?"

He wasn't trying to make things awkward so when she timidly asked that of him, Rean blinked before leaning in close and answering with a sweet if brief kiss from his lips.

"Of course it is. I would never rush you into anything this important." Even if the next opportunity could be months from now.

Well to be fair, she was just as guilty of making things awkward. All sorts of thoughts were scrambling about in her head. All sorts of thoughts that come to a screeching halt with that short and sweet kiss from her love.

The worried, nervous expression immediately melted into a relieved smile at those words, and she nodded, "... thanks, Rean." It felt silly to thank him for being understanding - she knew in her heart he would be. "I -do- want to .. be with you, it's just..." Not quite ready. It's a scary thing, taking that kind of a step, even when you love and trust your partner with every fiber of your being.

Rean quickly shushed her down before nuzzling gently against her cheek with his eyes closed.

"You don't need to say anything more. I understand completely~" ANd no he was not just saying that. After all he knew exactly how big of a deal that really was for the both of them. He was sure he wanted to take that step but never if it meant forcing Alisa to do so before she was ready completely.

Rean was never the sort to simply say things without meanming them. And ... she actually hadn't even considered that he might be nervous about it too. So she pulled him closer into her arms and sighed softly, closing her eyes as she basked in the feeling of his nuzzling, "...I love you, Rean." she murmured against the spot she was tucked into.

"Mmmm and how much do you love me~?" HE asked with a hint of mischief. Just becaue he was feeling overly affectionate at this time didn't mean he was above teasing his beloved over it too. After all she would clearly do the ame back at him if she had the initiative.

Oh she definitely would - and she would get revenge on him one day, and turn that question around on him. But for now, she chuckled softly, "Hmmm... my love for you runs deeper than the waters of Lake Lacrima." she giggled, "Or did you want me to -show- you how much I love you?"

"Hmhmhmhm~ I wouldn't mind a more...live demonstration~" Rean smirked but not in a mean fashion while his hand slowly rose to gently caress against ALisa's cheek, the fondness behind that gesture spellbinding for both himself and Alisa.
