Eep. She felt her cheeks getting darker again, grinning. Darnit Natsu, don't ask her questions if you intent on derailing her from being able to speak~! She nuzzled against his neck in response, but when he scooped her up, she squealed in mock alarm, almost giggling. "Natsu~! No --- Wait, wait! You're still all sandy and messy--!" Squirmy Lucy is squirmy.

And, well, if they were to go by experience, they may end up having to go into the shower again later anyway. Keff.

Squirmy squirm Lucy is a fun Lucy. That being said he's not too keen to sleep on sandy sheets either even if they were Lucy's bedsheets. So instead he spins them both around and heads to the bath instead while chuckling to himself as he leans up to press his lips to Lucy's chin and neck.

Sandy sheets would be too distracting and scratchy. She let out a laugh at the spin around, tightening her arms around him and grinning at the feel of his lips against her neck. It always sent a delightful chill down her spine, "You can put me down now," she grinned, "It's not like I'm going to run away." She pauses, an amused grin suddenly twitching her lips slightly. Well. She -COULD- run away but why would she ever want to? Unless it was a game of course.

"What if I don't feel like it? " Natsu answered cheekily, bobbing Lucy up and down in his arms with a laugh as he pushed the door open with his foot, too eager for the fun that was to come~ That being said he would have to put her down once they got to the tub since she'd want to prepare the water in a certain way no doubt. HE was fine with whatever really.

"It'll make you taking a bath rather difficult, then. And I won't have sandy dragons in our bed, so you'd have to sleep on the floor." She tucked her head against his neck, giggling against him and, as he nudged the door open with his foot, she nipped his neck similar to the way she had on the beach.

Though it was extremely tempting to nibble his neck since he was holding her so conveniently close and all. Except, then she really wouldn't be able to run the water. That being said, she nipped him again before drawing back a little, nuzzling against his face. "Come on, be a good boy and put me down." She cooed teasingly.

He let out a rumbling but playful growl hearing his queen's teasing coos. She was lucky he didn't mind being ordered around if said in those dulcet tones.

"Alllright since you asked so nicely I'll do it~" Natsu said and finally lowered Lucy back down to her feet. Not that he moved away from her even then. Why would he? This was so much more fun, holding her from behind loosely as she got the bath ready for the both of them. Since he had no intention to wash up alone.

She chuckled as he agreed to put her down, but kept his arms around her. She was fine with that of course - after all, she did say she didn't want him to let her go. And she had to admit it was a lot of fun being able to do things with him still holding her. But she fiddled with the knobs until the water coming out was a nice toasty warm (even though Natsu could just heat it up again), and leaned back against him to wait for the tub to fill. Of course she originally thought they were going to take turns with the bath - bathing together would definitely be...er... interesting.

And that was assuming they could keep from playing and be serious enough to actually get clean since they had those bouts of immaturity all the time.

What she called immaturity, Natsu called it fun. Something which he knew Lucy would agree with as well given she started the shenanigans as often as he did. They were incorrigible in that regard. Still it would be Natsu who made the first move this time as his hands started working Lucy's hands to her hips while at the same time tugging her skirt down slowly

It was all the same, they goofed off an awful lot together. And it was natural for them to, since, yes, she did start the shenanigans just as much as he did. What could she say, it was fun playing and goofing off with him as much as it was doing other things. She'd never stop.

Although he did catch her by surprise when she suddenly felt his hands on hers, blushing slightly as he used her hands to start tugging her skirt down. "N...Natsu you know I ...don't need help for this, right?" Hard to say if she was more flustered over him doing this, or the idea of returning the favor.

"Oh I know" Natsu purred with a sultry chuckle still spilling from his lips. His hands didn't stop though and if anything he only pressed up closer still with a rumbling growl. He was having too much fun with this.

"But I like opening my presents myself"

He really was. "Aa... it's not a holiday or anything -- did I miss your birthday?" She teased, trying to keep a firm grasp of the conversation. Was he aware of how distracting it was feeling him pressing against her while he was 'unwrapping his present' to speak? She felt all kinds of warm, and that may not be just because of his body heat.

And that chuckle was darned unfair. It was REALLY unfair that he could sound so damn sexy like that. She'd step out of the skirt though, once he pulled it down enough that it'd slip to the floor.

No. But every day with you is a celebration~" Natsu answered shamelessly. Keeping a grasp on the conversation? Oh good luck with that. Natsu has a knack for achieving that when he wasn't even intending to do so.

Oh wow, from anyone else she would have said that was cheesy as hell. From him though..., she chuckled softly, "I don't know how you can say something like that so blatantly -" because it was true, maybe?

"But it's true for me too." She tugged his hands up against her stomach, curling her fingers around his hand. "Like a never ending dream."

" Well it's not like lying about it would be any better." Natsu pointed out cheekily before he let his hand wander over Lucy's stomach. "Oh it's all very real though. Here let me show you~" Natsu purred and then claimed LUcy's lips with an eager hungry kiss as he led them both closer to the spacious tub they'd gotten shortly after going official.

She giggled at his cheeky comment. But oh that purred response, and that kiss - it was leaving her breathless. As if she were so close to heaven she could grasp it with her hands.

In short, she whimpered and melted against him, responding to the hunger in hiss kiss with her own eagerness, instinctively following him as he moved. One arm curved around his neck, her hand slipping up to his head, grasping a fistful of hair.

Each tug and pull on his hair, earned Lucy a rumbling grown of approval. He knew the stronger she pulled the better his performance was to push her that far. After a while he had to break for air or to be more precise had to break for air for Lucy's sake.

"Mmmm I think the tub's ready for us~" He said as his hands moved up over Lucy's front on the way towards her large lovely breasts.

When he pulled back to let her get some air, she was out of breath, staring at him with an utterly infatuated, though dazed, look on her face. "Huh? What...? Bath?"

Oh. OH. Right, bath! She blinked, realizing that yes, they're in the bathroom about to ...to bathe together. She shook her head a little to restart her brain, clearing her throat as she glanced at the tub. Plenty of room for the both of them, and then some. At the time she'd wondered why they would even need something so big, but, she wasn't going to complain about it. Far from it. "Yeah, it looks like --" she reached over to turn the faucet off. Phew.

"So you wanna get in first?" As if it really mattered. Natsu had every intent to hold her close with her back to his chest once they got settled in but giving her that choice was all he really wanted at that point. Letting her steer things just a little bit~

As far as Lucy was concerned, getting in first would give her more time to get used to the temperature! It wouldn't matter to Natsu, since he was used to the heat. Which she always liked teasing him about cheating with it.

"Yeah, I'll get in first." She agreed, turning to step into the tub which - thankfully had cooled enough that she only squeaked a little at the sudden change in temperature. Oh, she loved a hot bath~!

Natsu only half turned away from her before she slipped into the tub. Something she might have missed before he turned back around to step out of his trousers and into the tub with her. His vest was long gone crumpled on the floor in their room somewhere.

He moved up around Lucy and settled comfortably putting himself between Lucy and the tub.

"Mmmm this feels nice and toasty~"

She did miss it in fact, which was probably a good thing in hindsight. That body of his was too much for her~! It was hard enough to keep her hands off of him when he didn't have his vest on. Heck, if the kids hadn't been with them on the beach she'd have been all over him.

Lucy grinned, marveling and wondering how he could -still- have the same effect on her as the first time she fell in love with him, even now. All he was doing was holding her - granted they were both naked, but... still. "Hmm, I have to agree it is - especially this close to you," she let herself relax against him, glancing over her shoulder. "Although it'll make your bathing a little difficult." She teased.

"Well technically only for me. Since in your case I can help you with the washing~ After all I can reach eee~verywhere when I'm this close to you~" Natsu pointed out letting his hands wander idly over Lucy's arm as a faint teasing smirk tugged at his lips.

"Of course that's always the case while I don't get distracted~"

Lucy paused for a moment. Eeeeeeverywhere -- well he actually could, now that she thought about it. He had the longer reach and she was behind held particularly close. Still, she reached up with her hands to try and loop her hair up a little out of the way of the water.

"Oho, and do you think you can keep from getting distracted?" She inquired innocently, with a ~~cocky smirk~~ sweet smile as she let her hands rest against the edge of the tub. It's not like she'd do anything to distract him. Not her noooooo sir.

growth spurts were fun like that given there didn't used to be much of a height difference when they met. Now Natsu could wrap her in his arms and hold her close and safe. Yup he was quite happy with that setup.

"Well I would do my best." Not that he expected to succeed. Lucy by far had the easiest time in distracting him after all. Everything she did from the swish of her hair to even the way she walked. It had proven distracting more than once.

She could say the same about him. It didn't take much to get distracted by him. Although she had a pretty advantageous position where she was too if she let herself stop thinking enough to use it.

Instead she fished around in the water, "Well I still have to keep my promise to wash your back so don't think you're going to get out of that." As if. "In the meanwhile," she held up a soapy washcloth, grinning, "Let's see how you do." CHALLENGE. She wouldn't even cheat..! Maybe.
