Now that the weather was warmer, the kids were no longer so restless (not that they could be too restless with Natsu around to play with) and were eager to go out and on adventures of their own, both with their older sis/bro/not parents and without. Regine was kept busy helping to tend the guild in their absence, though occasionally she got dragged off by the children for adventures, on days that Natsu and Lucy had work to do.

Although lately there'd been a lot of jobs, so Lucy, at least, hadn't had time to spend with the kids quite so much. Which was why she had suggested taking the kids to the beach for fun, sun, fishing, and whatever else they wanted to do. Good plan, yes? Yes! Nev'd been up since the crack of dawn, full of excitement, and vigor, like a tiny fire-less Natsu. Justyne, on the other hand, had slept in a little more. Lucy just had to put a few final touches on her appearance - since her hair had gotten much longer in the last few months. "Twenty jewels say that Neveren will be knocking on the door in five minutes." She called over to Natsu with a grin.

He'd done the minimum expected. Now he could truly go all out and he did just that bringing himself close to that cliffedge of pleasure around the same time Lucy gave him that needy warning. He heard her words, registered them in his mind however he did nothing to stop. Why would he when the peak was something they could both share.

"Do it. Let it go!" Natsu grunted, urgency and passion filling his voice as he bounced Lucy in his lap even more vigorously.

She would never speak to him again if he stopped. Okay that was excessive, she'd still speak to him - and more than likely beg him to -not- stop, which was exactly what she was doing.

As if he would. But boy would she be angry if he did. Of course, that was neither here nor there, and all she could consciously think of was the man in her arms as she registered his words.

She clutched him close to her body, letting out a noise was more howl than human - esepcially in the acoustics of the bathroom when her peak hit, her heart hammering in her chest and her body spasming like she was hit by electricity, her breathing coming in great gasps as she clung to him, needing to come down from the high of lovemaking to be able to speak, let alone move.

As tempting as it might have been to make her huffy by denying her that release, he was far too eager to get his so that outweighed the desire to mess with Lucy's pleasure. An odd kind of balance but it worked given how they always got so into it that volume and potential property damage didn't even figure as a thought in either of their minds.

He felt the coil within Lucy tighten considerably and then snap with her keen cry of his name. He followed a couple of thrusts later and he roared his pleasure loud enough to echo in the bath while he clung close to Lucy, filling her to the brim with his passion before slumping against her, gasping for air.

For several seconds - though to Lucy it felt like longer - all she could hear was her heartbeat and their mingled breathing. It sounded like they'd been running for days, if one were to judge by that, but it still took a bit before Lucy's breathing started to calm down, and she hadn't even processed how..erm...vigorous she'd gotten. It'd be a bit embarrassing - especially knowing he'd tease her about it.

Her hand absently stroked down his back as if it'd help calm him down, her head resting against his shoulder. Her fingers twitched slightly when they encountered the tracks her nails had made. Her thoughts still felt disconnected from the rest of her, Not really wanting to focus enough out of the haze of pleasure quite yet. But geez how much did she scratch him in the fit of passion anyway? "..haah.." She exhaled a long sigh, grinning as her gaze drifted back towards her love.

Several seconds could feel like years in the arms of the lover you chose to spend your life with from that point onward. Natsu could certainly agree with that even as the heat of the moment started to simmer down ever so slightly. He felt Lucy's head rest on his shoulder and he tenderly moved his hand up to lovingly cradle her head while he turned his lips to her throat.

The scars were luckily on his back and that was one of the few parts on his body that were not exposed all that often. Unless they went to the beach again. Then they'd have to come up with a cover story.

Hopefully those scratches would heal up the next time they went to the beach with others. Otherwise who knows what kind of bizarre story Lucy would concoct to cover up the real reason he was scratched like that.

No, she wasn't allowing Natsu to make up the excuse. God no. She let out a happy hum feeling his lips pressing against her throat, nuzzling against his cheek with a smile, cheeks pink. "..we didn't get much washing done after all." She'd had a feeling it would end up this way..and she still agreed to get in the tub with him. Le sigh!

They would heal fortunately. Natsu's recovery rate had always been abnormal and scratches from passion were trivial than most wounds Natsu had taken in the past.

"Well that's good. Since we'd only get messy again afterwards. This way we got messy before washing~" Natsu flaunted that trademark logic of his.

Fortunately for that, yes. It probably wouldn't even take long, knowing his recovery speed. She chuckled faintly at that display of logic. "Well... yeah, but now we'll need to make sure we actually -clean- this time." She grinned, "So we really ought to bathe separately." It was too tempting for either of them to get sidetracked.

"Oh and why is that? Unless you're saying you still want more~" Natsu purred, a playful rumbling note from the bottom of his throat before he gave a playful nip to the same patch of skin on her neck that he'd been kissing.

Oh he was being -so- cheeky right now. "I --" She sucked in a breath slightly at the nip, "N-Natsu...!" she shivered slightly, chuckling softly. "I'm not saying that at all...!"

Although if he kept 'misbehaving' she'd be changing her tune. "I just...mean that it's too much of a temptation..." She murmured, pressing her lips against his neck affectionately. "For both of us. Being like this." It was very, very easy to get distracted.

Well, at least it was for her.

He had ample reason to be cheeky. After all he'd made her sing quite a bit only moments ago. She might not have said it in the same words however Natsu wasn't convinced she didn't feel the same way and why would he be?

"Well that's just cause we haven't had enough. Besides if we wash up and then get in the mood again it would all be for nothing~" Didn't she just absolutely hate it when he made good points?

Yes. Yes she did. She was making a face that said as much to his points. "With you, I wonder if there's any such thing," she teased. It was after all, hard enough keeping her hands off of him with hugs, hand-holding and such. She'd never get her fill of him. She giggled, "We can't exactly stay here like this though." She pointed out.

"Hmmmm probably not. Same could be said about you though" Natsu pointed out with a cheeky growl and his fingers lightly teased Lucy's sides. "I guess we can't. Though how do you suggest we tackle that problem?" Oh yes she was the brains of the operations after all. Surely she could come up with a method untangle themselves from one another.

Lucy giggled, shifting a little at the feel of his hands teasing her sides. He'd better not tickle! "Oh, I have to come up with the solution?" She huffed playfully. "Well..." She considered their positions for a moment. The worst part was always pulling away once they were connected. She just didn't want to - she loved the feeling that being that close with him gave her.

"I guess I'll have to get up," she said after a moment. Not that she did so right away, no, she snuggled against him just a little bit longer before making a grumbly noise, placing her hands on the tub edge in order to push herself away from him. Once she managed that, it was a simple matter of getting up, leaning over to grab her robe from off of its hook and slip it on. Careful NOT to look at him, since that would make her determination waver.

Well you're the one with ideas~" Natsu retorted without a shred of shame. He was tempted to pull her back all the way until she rose but once she did, he decided that watching her like the goddess she was provided it's own kind of allure. She was careful not to Look at him. He was doing the opposite, feasting his eyes on the delightful view.

Lucy giggled at that shameless response. Honestly, he'd gotten so much more cheeky and mischievous ever since they confessed their feelings to each other. Knowing full well he was watching her, she hid a smile. It made her want to -tease- him too much, all that attention.

"Aah, look at this," she tsked, "Water everywhere." Yeah Lucy, remember -WHY- the water was everywhere? Cough. Absently she pulled a towel down and tossed it over to Natsu. Oh wait, he could just flame-dry himself - duh. Oh well, he could still make use of it. She checked her reflection, reaching up to tug her hair out of its bun since she didn't need to worry about it getting wet now.

"Hey hey half of that is you fault too you know." Natsu pointed out before he rose from the tub as well with his full bare physique on display, taking his time to use the towel on purpose to see how long she could last without looking. Oh yes he wanted her to look. Her and only her.

Damn right her and only her. No one else is allowed to see him naked, including Erza, 'skinship' or no skinship. Just as he was the only one allowed to see her naked.

Ohhhhhh, god he's ...well of course he was standing up, and taking his damn time to use that towel. "I-I know that..." She practically tripped over her tongue when she glanced at him over her shoulder.

She....may have stared at his chest a bit too long, her gaze combing over his form, before she snapped out of it and quickly glanced away again. "Ahaha, I mean..." She got a bit wild - honestly the way he stoked her desires was like feeding a fire itself until it was out of control.

Oh he caught that linger look and he was undeniably entertained by managing to sidetrack her like that. Natsu smirked before finally putting the towel around his hips but just to tease Lucy even more when he ran his hand through his wet hair and smirked shamelessly at her.

"You mean~?"

Y'know, she didn't actually remember what her whole point was now. Seeing him with his bare chest and that unfair smirk, and his hand running through that thick, wet ... FOCUS LUCY.

"Huh? Oh. Um." She shook her head, opting to turn to step out of the bathroom before she pounced on him, clearing her throat. "Would you mind taking care of the water spillage?" Change the subject, yeah~!

Thinking thinky thoughts of potential revenge.

Natsu paused for a moment to flash Lucy an "Really? Out of all the things you could have asked me do you go for something so boring and easy?" kind of look. Understandably so since trying the floor and everything would quite literally take him minutes.

"Well I guess I could. Even if it feels kinda silly."

She didn't want their floor to get all moldy and slippery! And it would only take him minutes if even that. Still, she couldn't help but chuckle at the look he gave her, moving closer to him.

Deciding to purr a teasing little, "Mmpllleeeeeeeasse ...?" in his ear to give him a little encouragement to do nonmanual labor for her. Sheesh. But in case he got other ideas, she ducked away from him immediately afterwards, toying with her hair and watching him pensively.

Oh she was getting better at avoiding his ambushes now was she? Natsu wasn't sure how to feel about that since on one hand he wanted to capture her when she least expected but on the other he would be proud about her improvement and making him have to work for the treat that was Lucy's reaction.

"Fiine I'll do it. " Natsu rolled his eyes at the wink and lit one hand on fire.

Yes, because it was fun to make him work for his captures sometimes. On the other hand it was that great a thing for her too, when she wanted him to capture her in his arms. But making it too easy for him would make it boring!

"Heehee," Lucy grinned at his reaction, "I don't know why you're fussing so - I doubt it'll take you that long, and the alternative would mean I'd have to use a bunch of towels to dry the floor. That would take even longer." She was content to wait, watching him with her back against the doorway, though the way her lips were curving upwards practically screamed she was going to tease him whenever he tried to ambush her.

He'd just have to get sneakier if he wanted to ambush her when she was on alert like this! That is assuming she didn't have plans of her own.

"...watching you dry the floor with towels would've been pretty nice actually. Bending over and kneeling to do it. I agreed too quickly." Natsu admitted with a mock grumble before he started projecting his flames at the floor, to the point that the bathroom soon became steamy.
