Spending day after day in the cabin Natsu had built near the Guild, going on missions and living, being WITH Natsu was plain and simple, pure. Heaven. Lucy could genuinely not think of any time she was as happy as she was with him. It still amused her to think of the times she was too flustered to acknowledge her feelings for him, until things came to a head.

And then the kids came along during that mission - Nev and Justine, along with their 'mom' Regine. If Natsu becoming an integral part of Lucy's life was like completing her, then the kids and Regine were the added frosting on a perfected cake. Yeah that metaphor was all over the place. GRANTED it was a little difficult to get time alone with Nev and Justine almost demanding their attention a good amount of the time, but she didn't mind, and didn't think Natsu did either. They had their evenings together, and their little hiding spots to sneak away to, sometimes just for fun.

Meanwhile the first rays of light were beginning to filter in through the window-shades of their room, with Lucy snuggled up against Natsu's side, an arm wrapped around him with a faint smile on her lips. Not quite awake yet, but in that in-between point of just about to rouse. The birds had barely even begun to chirp when the distant BAM! of a door swinging open, followed by barely hushed giggling voices and scampering feet could be heard by Dragonslayer senses with ease, obviously heading towards said cabin.

Lucy chuckled softly, nuzzling affectionately against his jaw as she felt his body shudder at the sound of her whisper. "Well you do it to me every night," she murmured, tracing her lips along his jawline in a soft purr, "..so it's only fair that I deliver an inferno of kisses to you in return." She was tempted to do just that too, but for the most part all she was doing was giving him the lightest feel of her lips and fingers as she snuggled closer into him. She's a shark circling her prey! Without actually circling.

"Mm-mm-mmmngh! I remmeber more than just kisses~" natsu growled under hiea breath finding it harder and harder to stay up straight while the two of them were so comfortably curled up with one another underneath their delightful little homey retreat.

It would probably be a lot easier also, if she weren't cuddling him quite so aggressively and affectionately. She didn't have that problem on the other hand - whether she was sitting up in his lap and snuggling against him, or lying on top of him snuggling with him, it was all good.

"You don't say?" She purred against his ear, "And what do you remember?" She nuzzled against him, nipping his jaw gently, her arms wrapping more around him.

Lucy was playing with fire by feeding this mood that was growing between them. Natsu's arm slowly looped around her too, slowly shuffling up against Lucy while his voice grew deeper the more she teased his jaw.

"Mmmm some biting, Touches all over my body to say the least~"

Oh she is fully aware of the risk in making the mood too amorous. If she can help it at least. At least she could tell when he was nearing his limit by the sound of his voice. Once his voice hit that deep growl mark, it was no turning back.

"Fancy that, I remember that too." Lucy murmured, moving to tuck her head against his shoulder and nuzzle against his neck instead with a contented sigh, "Hold me closer, Natsu," she murmured instead. She didn't want to feel any space at all between them - the sound of the thunder and rain was just heavenly.

Asking him to hold her was no better really but Natsu had no desire to deny that wish. Natsu slowly shifted closer and tugged Lucy's body closer into his own while teh warmth from his body seemed to rise a bit as well.

Well maybe he should try being less amazing, and she wouldn't want him to hold her or be closer to him so much! "Perfect," she sighed contentedly, nuzzling and tucking into him. "How about you?" she murmured, wrapping her arms around him. Ah, that familiar feeling of warmth, a combination of his magic and his love. She can never get enough of it.

Asking him to be less amazing was the same as asking the sun to cool off.

"Mmm never better~" He purred back turning to nuzzel just behind Lucy's ear where her scent was at the most instoxicating right now as far as reachable sources went.

EXACTLY. It can't be done! Nor would she ever want such. "I was thinking the same thing." Lucy sighed, her body giving a small shiver when he nuzzled behind her ear. "Mmmh.." She purred softly, though she chuckled a moment later, "..it's such a little thing, but I can't get enough of it - of you.. when we're like this." She's said it before - close is never close enough.

"Well you have all the time in the world to get as much of it as you can take~" Natsu purred, turning his lips down to Lucy's neck as he pulled her even closer to him, his hands roaming slowly over her sides and thighs.

"O-ohh..." Lucy murmured distractedly, "Is..... that so?" She grinned, curling into him more as he pulled her closer, even uttering a soft purr of pleasure, "That's perfect then, because I'd like nothing more than to spend all the time in the world monopolizing your attention and time like this," she chuckled, smoothing her hand along his back with another content purr.

"It is~" Natsu smirked against her neck this time bringing his fang into play as well as he pressed up against her while his hand found the path up her arm while turning his lips over to the earlobe.

"Then you will have a very easy time as long as you are you~"

Her soft purrs started to melt into faint sighs of sheer bliss. This kind of treatment was difficult to sit still for - "Mmh...that's..good," she purred softly, nuzzling against him, "I'm not planning on being anyone else." Her other arm snaked around to complete the circle, moving over his back, her voice drifting into affectionate, intimate murmurs.

Eventually Natsu started leaning Lucy over more and more as he pushed up against his partner, aiming to get right on top of her just as soon as she allowed it.

"Good~ I would have to be very convincing otherwise~"

Lucy nuzzled into him, her lips brushing along his jaw, "Convincing..? You'd just have to be yourself," she grinned. Heck, he's never had trouble convincing her to join in on his shenanigans before. Just like he doesn't need much to convince her to shift her position, leaning back until he was on top of her.

She blinked up at him, then grinned, her fingers moving up his back to brush the back of her hand against his cheek, "You just reminded me of something.."

Natsu took a moment to lean down and claim her lips with a quick but passionate kiss before he stared back down at her with a cheeky smirk.

"Oh? Reminded you of what~"

... She stared at him for a second. "What?" ...

"OH! Oh right." Lucy blushed - he almost, ALMOST rendered her thought process offline with that sneaky kiss, passionate as it was. She grinned back at that kiss, "I owe you an inferno, don't I?" An inferno of kisses~

"Oh that~ Mhm you did say something along those lines~ Ready to keep your word then~?" Natsu asked putting his hand around her hip to pull her closer to him as if to have her hook her leg around him.

Lucy giggled, pulling him closer, wrapping her arms tighter around him, "Mmhmhm, what do you think..?" she purred, sliding a hand against the back of his neck to pull him close enough that she could make good on her word, leaning up to claim his lips in a kiss, that was soon to be followed by another, then another, and several more after that.

Feeling him pull her closer to him as well, she was more than willing to close that little bit of distance with him, sliding her leg over his to hook him in place.

"I think you don't want any more marshamallows. Instead you want me to warm you up from the inside out~" Natsu growled, feeling his desires start to run rampant now that there was even less distance between their own bodies.

Lucy glanced over to where the bag of marshmallows had been shoved, dismissed - then glanced back at Natsu with a playful smirk, leaning close enough that he could feel her lips brushing against his skin when she responded in a soft, sultry whisper, "Well you did stop the campfire...it's your responsibility to ~warm me up~ again." She gave a little mock shiver. She's so chilly except not, when she was wrapped up in his arms.

Oh now she was using that voice too? Then it was obvious that she was more than all for this little detour. Or was it their destination all along? Either way Natsu was not going to back down especially when she shivered against him.

"Mmmm then I'll warm you up real good~ Let me show you how~"

She definitely had no problem with a little detour of their affection, wherever it led them. Any attention from Natsu she would never say no to.

She chuckles softly, running her hands up his back, "Mmm, I can hardly wait." she purred, "I need your warmth more than I could say." As much she adored the children, she craved this personal time with him. She needed it like a man in the desert needed water.

Well they were in the privacy of their own home while the kids were far far away getting to enjoy their new home. Meaning no one could really interrupt the two fiery lovers.

"Hmhmhm where do you need it most then? Here? Or maybe right here~?" Natsu said as he slid his hand underneath Lucy's top.

Lucy sucked in a breath feeling his hand against her skin, "Nnggh that's... good for a start.." she managed after a moment, her hands starting to match his - not sliding under his shirt yet, but sliding over his back and shoulders, her lips brushing against his neck.
