It was just that shocking to him, seeing Natsu and Lucy being so lovey-dovey! Once they were back inside the apartment, Lucy felt herself relax even more as she gave a soft exhalation, glancing around the little apartment as if refamiliarizing herself with it. It's been a LONG time since she's been in this particular apartment, "Home sweet home." She murmured softly.

Natsu didn't chase after her right away but the moment he paused in her step, Natsu wrapped his arms around Lucy from behind, pressing his lips softly to her neck as he hummed in delight.

Which meant she was free to make a little circuit of her room, running her finger over some furnishings, before she had come to stop. Once she felt Natsu's arms close around her, she utterly melted, leaning back against him with a soft humm of her own, shivering a little at the feel of his lips against her neck. "I was wrong," she murmured softly with a smile, her hands lifting to rest against his arms, "NOW I'm home." In his arms. That was definitely home.

The two shared that moment together for a good while just idly moving from one foot to the other in the middle of the room while Natsu just breathed in everything about Lucy and finding the peace of the moment simply too good to put an end to just yet.

Lucy sure as heck was in no hurry to break the peace of the moment, practically purring her contentedness in his arms. She even closes her eyes, uttering a soft sigh. No need to rush to move furniture around for their little campsite yet. Time was endless when it was with him.

She did break the silence after a moment, though she kept her voice low with a soft chuckle. "Feels like it's been forever since you had me in your arms like this.. and it was only a short while." Just being out of his arms for a minute or two and she was agonizing until she could feel him fold his arms around her again, or until she could hold him in turn. "Do you think it'll ever stop being like this?" She didn't. She didn't want it to either. She'd rather have a few minutes or hours of agony pining for him, than for either of them to get tired of holding each other.

She could have gone as quiet as a mouse and Natsu would still hear her just fine. The perks of being a dragon slayer were endless really. As long as you don't factor in transportation.

"I was thinking the same thing really." Even a moment without feeling some part of her felt too long. It didn't have to always be holding so intimately.

"No I don't think it ever will. Not that I'd want it to anyway."

That was exactly why she didn't raise her voice much - the soft murmuring felt like she was weaving a spell where they were the only two to exist in the world.

She chuckled softly when Natsu admitted that he was thinking the same. "You always seem to be on the same wavelength as me." She murmured, swaying slightly in his arms. "I don't either. I want to feel this much love for you forever. Even if it hurts to be away from you for any amount of time." Being able to be close to him like this was like a dream. A dream that'll never end.

Their own little microcosm of bliss and love. How could Natsu not want that with Lucy.

"Of course~ We've been together for so long it would be stupid if i didn't learn the way you think~ The way you felt about spending so much time with me~"

Lucy smiled, "At the risk of inflating your ego even more, you're absolutely right. She leaned more into him, content to let him hold her up as she ran her fingers over his idly. "If the others at the Guild could see you the way I can, they'd never believe their eyes." She chuckled, "They'd never believe the Natsu they know and the one I know are the same person." It was hard enough for them to believe the Dragonslayer was capable of such forms of affection - like he said before, they probably didn't think they did more than hold hands.

"Do you want me to show them then~? " Naturally he didn't believe she would even entertain the thought of sharing something so precious to her. His hips pressed up against her as he tightened her hold on her body and pressing his chest firmly to her back.

"So what were we going to do first?~" He asked oh so cruelly.

ACK. "No!" Lucy retorted, huffy he would even ask. Even though it was a valid question. "I want you to myself- these moments are so much more precious when its just us." Not that it'd be less so if he DID show the others just how much he'd learned, but she didn't want anyone feeling awkward. Let alone herself.

And she kind of liked having this true Natsu all to herself. Though that was kind of selfish wasn't it? So after a moment, she asked quietly, a little worriedly. "..did.. you want to...?"

And then she feels his evil shine through, when he pushed himself more into her, and she let out a soft whimpered noise. EVIL. "Wuah...?" OH RIGHT. "I... uh, the furniture." That was barely a sentence.

"Hmhm~" oh that smug chuckle that he let out seeing her outburst. He could not get enough of this feeling that could get him completely drunk on every aspect of Lucy. Every quirk and trait that made her the perfect star in his world.

"Not really. The one who needs to know that truth knows it. Anything more than that is really not important to me~"

And that evil would continue as he started leaidng her over to the couch while still holding onto her from behind~

"Should I let go then so we can get this all wrapped up?"

She blushed at that smug chuckle, shooting him a look over her shoulder. Huff. Though that expression makes her expression melt into a soft smile again. "... good. I wouldn't want to hold you back from what you want, because of my own selfishness."

Evil Natsu. EVIL. "Ah..aw...." yeah he was going to have to let go if they were going to move the furniture. Still, she made a soft grumbling noise as she reluctantly let go of him. "I guess we need to." Sulk. "Can you manage the couch on your own?" She asks the person who could probably bench press a dragon.

"Hah you think you're the only one who can be selfish? Good luck beating a dragon at that game." Natsu shot back mischievously.

Hearing that grumble only earns Lucy a sultry chuckle before he moves to the back of the couch to start pulling it aside.

"Then think you can get that armchair?"

Lucy chuckled - "You can't keep using the Dragon defense you know." She teased.

Though, damnit. "Look you're going to have to stop doing that if I'm going to help you." Making those.. those heart melting sultry noises. "It's distracting!" HMPH. She steps over to the armchair, however, and grabs hold of it, tugging it slowly out of the way.

"Why not? It works every time~" Natsu answered with a shameless shrug before turning a grin up at her.

"Distracting? Not sure I get what you're talking about~" That was a bold faced lie and he wasn't even trying to hide it this time.

"It's a cheat!" Lucy giggled. Unfair of him - the dragon defense can beat out any mock argument she has! HMPF.

Though he gets another SHARP look at that blatant BLATANT lie, before laughing. WOW not even -attempting- to pretend innocence there Natsau. "HA! You know exactly what I mean you scamp."

" NO it's not~ It's the truth~" Natsu shot back again huffing and puffing his chest out proudly. This was too much fun just messing around with Lucy like this safe in the knowledge that no magic hunting murderers were lurking in the shadows watching for an opening to get at them or the ones they loved.

"Scamp? Can a scamp do this then?" He said quickly appearing behind Lucy and nipping at her neck.

Lucy laughed, "Truth from a dragon, so it's a baised truEEK!!" Lucy squealed in surprise when Natsu ambushed her with that neck-nip.

Sputtering a giggle, she swatted at him, "Scamp or Rogue, you're still a mischief maker~!" AHEM. She's WATCHING you and your shenanigans, buster. Though after a moment she risks glancing away to see what else they need to move. The table maybe? If it was higher they could have thrown a blanket over it for the 'tent'. Alas.

"Talking as if you woulod be any better in my position~" He did chuckle playfully once he got the drop on his belovdd celetial mage like this.

"Hmmmm I wonder. What if we put one of the chairs up on the table then throw the blanet over that~"

"I would." Lucy answered playfully, raising a hand to run her fingers through his hair, giving a little scritch. "Hrm... that could work..~! You position the ch airs and I'll get a blanket." She grinned, drawing her hand away to pad over to the closet.

"Hmph alright then~ I'll get the really really big one then~" Naturally he knew exactly how many blankets and how thig or large they might be. So while Lucy got the chair put up he returned with the massive blanket wrapped around his arms.

He's done this before, hasn't he! Lucy stared at him in disbelief when he emerged with the massive blanket. "Isn't that TOO big?" She glanced at the table - actually it might be just big enough. Plenty big even. "You can handle that," she was going to get the pillows and another blanket for them to curl up on.

"No way. Not if you want a cozy atmosphere to cuddle up and huddle up in~" Natsu grinned as he moved to lay out the blanket until a dom was made with a small opening for both him and Lucy to crawl inside.

"That's why I have you, isn't it?" Lucy grinned, watching him sort out the blanket, then crouched to peer into the opening before she placed the other layer of blankets down with a pillow for the both of them. "There, nice and cozy." She glanced over her shoulder, "It hasn't quite started raining yet though." Just a few drips of drizzle.
