"Well isn't that funny? Kings can do the same~!" Natsu laughed and got right in front of her when she tried to make a speedy escape. Honestly he had her beat in terms of sheer speed so it was already a forgone conclusion.

"Wait, but Queens can v-eek!!" Lucy's startled shriek turned into a giggle when her attempt to scamper away made her run straight into him. Of course he'd get in front of her easily, she knew better than anyone he was incredibly fast. But it was all part of their own version of play, and she glanced up at him with a sheepish grin. "Hi there."

"Hiiii~ missed me?" Natsu asked aiming to get her to step back and trip on the floof of the fort so he could straddle her waist and trap her down with his legs thus keeping with the terms.

"Always." Lucy grinned, giving him her cutest smile as she clasped her hands in front of her face, "Who wouldn't -ACK!" Whoop, down she goes, and she squeals a soft 'distressed' noise when he traps her. Uh..! SHE STILL HAS ONE CARD TO PLAY. "W.. who wouldn't miss the most wonderful, merciful, strongest, handsomest, most passionate dragon in the world?" Buttering him up. Surely he won't be mean right?

"Hmmmm~ So you do know what's up~ Then you shouldn't have tried to stop me~" Natsu smirked and pushed her deeper into the fluff so that they would both sink out of sight before he leaned forward to claim a kiss from Lucy's lips.

Oh! Well that's much better than tickling her without mercy. Still she grinned in response to his smirk, bringing her arms up to curl behind him with a chuckle. "And when have I ever made it easy for you?" She teased, before she melted into the fluff and warmth and presence of her beloved, tilting her head a little to meet him when he leaned forward to claim what was rightfully his.

"Hmhm~ Well I do have trouble thinking of an answer for that~" Natsu answered with a purr pushing against her more firmly until his hand move up along her side but not tickling her like he'd intended.

Lucy uttered a low groan, "Naatsu... stop that," she protested rather feebly, chuckling, lowering her hand to cover his, "Later, later..~" What if one of the kids - or worse, one of their guildmates decided to come looking for them! As much as she would love wrapping herself entirely in him and just spending time along with him, they were hardly alone here!

"Hmhmhm~ It's fine it's fine as long as we don't go TOO far~" Natsu certainly did not seem keen to stop just yet and they were settled neatly in a small pit in the fluff fort.

"Natsu..~!" Lucy's protests don't even get past soft chiding, amused in spite of herself at his shamelessness. "What's gotten into you," she murmured against his ear. But he did have a point, they'd be fine as long as they didn't go TOO far. Still she snugged her arms closer around him with a throaty little chuckle and a soft sigh.

"What are you talking about? I'm no different than usual~" He purred getting even more comfortable on top of her but not letting his hands wander anywhere inapropriate.

"Oh is that so?" She chuckles, "It must be my wild imagination," saaaaaarcasm. He's getting totally cozy up there-- granted, this fluffy wool pit was like their own little fluffy cavern, if she let herself forget that they were out back in the Guild. But they were finally home so she could easily indulge in the coziness with him. Also having complete confidence that her sarcasm was going to be totally lost on him.

"Suuure it is~ Just like this~" Natsu purred and sealed her lips again but this time with a much more passionate kiss, even rolling his tongue in past her lips with a purring growl.

"Nna-nnnnnmmm.." Once again her gentle attempt to scold her beloved melts into a soft sigh, her lips curving into a warm smile, her free hand sliding up to gently caress the side of his face and into his hair.

He doesn't let her surface for air until she's good and dazed with joy and love but when he does, he stares back down at her with the proudest of smirks.

As a result she does let out a few squeaks when his goal is to make her completely and utterly breathless. When he does pull back, it takes her several minutes to open her eyes again, successfully dazed.

But seeing that proud smirk on his face put an adoring one on hers, "... you're such a bad influence." She murmured softly, with a gentle, lopsided grin.

He chuckles before nipping at her ear for a moment.

"Says the one who made it so I had no choice but to trap you with my legs instead of my arms~"

She chuckled, "No choice hrm? Well if that bothers you so much, then you can have that choice back." She reached up to toy with his scarf, flicking it at his face, grinning.

"Not really bothered but I won't say no to getting my hand on you now~" Natsu purred and finally placed his palm against her side pressing up flush against her now.

She chuckled, "Nothing much ever seems to bother you, does it?" She tugged on his scarf to pull him closer, shifting to arch her back a little and let him snake his hand under her if he wants. "Come here, you." So she can nuzzle against that warmth, "You're so weird." Takes one to know one though, right?

"You know what would be nice?" She says, rather suddenly after a moment, "If we camped out on a clear night, together. Just the two of us." They've lost their little love-island too, alas. Now they're going to have to adventure for new secret cuddle spots! New adventures!

"Say the weirdo~" natsu said coling his arm around her back just as she wordlessly invited him to do. Then he pulled up close and murmured softly into her ear as he pressed into her amidst the fort of fluff.

"oh? Just you and me and the stars you haven't seen in so long? I wouldn't mind that. We'll have to find a good place for it~" Meaning they would have to spend time exploring around for a bit.

She brushes her lips against his cheek when he pulls in close, a blissful little sigh slipping out as she gets comfortable in his arms. Idly running her hand along his back, like petting a lazy cat, chuckling at him calling her a weirdo in turn.

"Exactly. I have to greet them all like old friends, even though I apparently never left here - WE never left." She curls up a little bit into him with a soft humm. "Which honestly makes me feel better than thinking we just vanished from here without a trace for over a year."

He allows her to pull him in close, his smile pressing against her cheek before he pulled back a little to enjoy the sight of LUcy beaming up at him like this.

"Then we can figure that out later. I'll be with you no matter what after all~"

Her smile only grew more dorky and obliviously blissful the more she regarded him, as if just the sight of him made her more and more happy by the second. "We'll have to figure out where to put up Regine and the kids too. Fairy Hills is a bit pricey for them right now."

"Hmmmm. How about my old place? Happy and I can stay with you for a while~ After all you got used to having me around all the time since we were like that back in that other world~" Natsu suggested after a moment of pondering on the matter.
