She exhales softly at the tender kiss to her cheek, her surprised expression melting into a soft smile, slightly turning to wrap her arms around him and nuzzle his neck, "I feel the same way. All I want is to feel you hold me and never let go." She tightens her arms around him a little more, pressing her lips against his cheek lightly as well.

He can do that much for her tonight. Rean couldn't help it any other time but as long as they had time together he could do that much for her even if it would end up hurting them both.

"Then....stay with me tonight?"

And boy was it going to hurt them. Even so, she would embrace that pain, because the alternative - keeping her distance from him emotionally and physically - was impossible and unthinkable.

Her face grew even more red at the question, and her hesitation is more from the surprise and embarrassment than reluctance. When her brain reboots and she can process the question properly, she still blushes, but she gives him a slow, shy nod, "... I'll stay with you tonight." Because it'll be their last night together for a while.

Having her say yes lifted one of the biggest stones he had been carrying in the pit of his stomach since embracing the fact that yes he wanted to stay with her forever if it was possible.

"Thank you. Alisa." Rean murmured softly, much more gentle of a whisper than anything he'd said before.

She let out a soft, breathy laugh as she buried her face against him. Partly to stay close, and partly so he couldn't see the forced smile, "Dummy," she whispered back. "As if you're the only one who wants to stay close." She tucked herself more into him at that, tightly, "I want to be close to you too. More than anything." It hurt that she couldn't, in the long run, but at least in moments like this, precious and fleeting, she could hold him in her arms and pretend he was fully 'hers'.

That smile would have hurt so it was a very wise move on her part ot hide it from him this time. That being said he could hardly blame her. Rean slowly squeezed Alisa against his chest while he nuzzled at her neck.

"Being loved by you, it's the greatest honor in my heart to poses~"

Hearing him say things so full of love and sincerity - it both hurt and made her feel so unbelivably happy, "..and I always will love you." she vowed, nuzzling against him at the same time as she felt him nuzzling her neck, "Nothing will ever change that...you're so precious to me." He was so full of compassion - even worrying about her when their separation would hurt him just as much, if not more.

The closeness helped at least, and eventually she did relax more into him, holding him tightly, "I love you, Rean." She murmured in a soft, earnest whisper.

Maybe he focused on her own future pain because he had become so accustomed to his own suffering. Regardless he was not thinking about that no matter what at thie moment in time. Because Alisa was aabsolutely his world right now.

"I love you too, Alisa. My Alisa~"

That was very likely. Be that as it may, hearing him call her 'his' Alisa brought a smile to her face as she tilted her head a little to look at him. "...I like that. Hearing you say that.." it was true. SHe was his, now and forever. She wondered if it would make him feel as overjoyed if she said similar, actually .. which is why she brought a hand up to gently pet the side of his face, "..my Rean."

His entire frame shuddered when he heard those soft two wordss. Hers. His heart had always belonged to Alia but to hear her say it out loud...THe absolute joy that surged out of Rean was simply imposible to contain. To the point his eyes were growing misty eyed.

"A-ALisa...."

Oh no, no Rean don't do that, she was doing so well at keeping herself composed. "Rean..." She leaned forward, leaaning forward and brushing her lips against his cheeks and along the corner of his lips, "My Rean.. I love you so, so much." She murmured, her voice cracking a little. She was trying so hard not to think about him leaving, but the more she was with him the more she was reminded of what little time they had left.

He managed to push those tears back but only by burying his face againt her neck and shoulder. He certainly didn't expect it to hurt this much when he was tricked off of the train the other day. And yet...yet he wouldn't change that for anything right now. A true paradox of heart ache and happiness.

She felt the same way. So many things she never expected - a lot of things that happened over the past few days. But she couldn't plan for that, or even anticipate it really. She was glad he chose his turn to bury his face against her, since it gave her a chance to do the same - push back the tears that threatened to come when she thought about him leaving.

So when he buried his face against her neck and shoulder, she tilted her head to nuzzle against him, letting a hand gently pet through his hair, trying to soothe him the way he would her until they were both a bit more under control. Frankly it was a good thing she agreed to stay with him because she...really wouldn't have wanted to sleep alone on their last night.

...heck, she might even be tempted to offer to let him sleep with her in her room the next time too.

Rean was still learning about this thing called love yet at least one thing he was certain of was that you were not supposed to hurt the one you love so much. Yet it seemed that was simply unavoidable for the two of them at this point. A vicious cycle that could not be cut as long as she lacked true freedom.

"I love you....so so much." He murmured so softly and reverently. Wishing those words would be like a spell to help ease this ache they were tasting so deeply of right now.

Alisa had honestly never thought she would end up meeting the person she would end up falling in love with so hard, on the first day of their class. Yet she wouldn't change a thing about their meeting, their interactions or anything that happened afterwards, even if it meant they were going to be hurt from being kept apart in the future. If their relationship could survive through this pain, and she felt it could, then it could survive anything. They would just have to find ways to steal as many moments together as they could.

She caught her breath slightly at the reverence murmur, exhaled again and pressed her cheek against his so she could whisper back against his ear, "I love you too, Rean.... More than anything in the world."

Those simple words contained so much warmth. So much tranquility and peace of mind. Like droplets of water to a man thirsting in the middle of an endless desert. He leaned against her lips more closely just enjoying the fact that he could feel Alisa so close to his heart and not just have it be a dream while on the familiar ride in the train.

A soft laugh escaped her when he leaned against her lips more, and she nuzzled his ear in response, "I love you." She murmured again, just as softly as before, "I always will... and when the day comes when we can be together ..when you can be mine for good, I won't ever let you go." she brushed her lips against his ear, then lightly against his neck as she squeezed her arms around him tightly, a muffled, "Never ever ever." to follow.

That was quite the heavy vow to take and yet she had said it withe such dazzling conviction Rean was actually rendered speechless. "I believe you, Alisa. And I promise I'll work just as hard to make that day come true"

It was a heavy vow, and even after she said it she wondered if she'd be able to keep to it -- but ultimately she was more than certain. The end result was worth the wait. "That's all I can even ask of you." she murmured, nuzzling his neck. "We both will."

It was heavy for maybe just one of them but maybe just maybe if they could share that load, they might just be able to make a miracle happen.

"Yeah. Together..."

That was their M.O. back before they all got split up. Maybe some of the old Class VII magic was still with them. But with his agreement she pulled back from nuzzling him soothingly to look at his face with a soft, loving smile - a touch sad maybe, but there was still hope in that smile; hope and an earnestness looking forward to when they could be together.

She gave a small laugh at a thought though, "Maybe I should make a happiness hare for you, now."

That smile could just cut through any and all defenses he had. Then again that could be said of everything Alisa did for him. He chuckled softly at her comment before leaning closer.

"wouldn't RUMU count?"

She considered that a moment, "Kind of," she smiled, "You were more my inspiration for RUMU." She leaned in a little closer as he did, "I'm not sure that's the same thing." She supposed it could count in the long run though, but she was distracted by the therapeutic sound of his chuckle.

Wellll unless you have a machine that can make snow I don't know how you would make a real one. Maybe you could try with rice balls shaped like one?" that was not even an oficial alternative. just something he came up with.

Alisa laughed, "No, nothing like that - and it wouldn't last very long anyway." Hmm, "Yeah, something like that could work." Or perhaps some other kind of delicious pastry snack shaped like a bunnybun. She'll make him a veritable army of different sorts of happiness hare treats.

She leaned forward and sneaked a quick kiss to his cheek, "Thanks, Rean." The lighter conversation at least was starting to pull away from the gloomier one they were having - which is nice to get rid of the dark thoughts first. "I'd say I could offer to sell them, but I kind of like the idea of them being just for you instead. Is that selfish?"
