Since graduating from the Academy, life has been..interesting for Alisa, to say the least. She's been kept very busy, since she was upholding her promise to her mother on showing her the proper way to run the company, and it wasn't easy to put in those changes. Though it would have been a lot harder if she didn't have the support of those around her. But because of that, she hadn't been able to get time to get to visit Rean as much as she liked.

Translation: As much as she liked = every day. She did get to visit - or vice versa - at least on the weekend, and she talked to him almost every night thanks to the range on the ARCUS. Just as finished up for the night, she made her way up to the penthouse, glancing around to make sure she was alone (And you never know with Sharon) in order to take out her ARCUS once more and see if she could get a hold of Rean before bed. She was planning on seeing if he was in the area - alternatively, she was sure she could get away for a visit, if he wasn't busy.

Alisa had honestly never thought she would end up meeting the person she would end up falling in love with so hard, on the first day of their class. Yet she wouldn't change a thing about their meeting, their interactions or anything that happened afterwards, even if it meant they were going to be hurt from being kept apart in the future. If their relationship could survive through this pain, and she felt it could, then it could survive anything. They would just have to find ways to steal as many moments together as they could.

She caught her breath slightly at the reverence murmur, exhaled again and pressed her cheek against his so she could whisper back against his ear, "I love you too, Rean.... More than anything in the world."

Those simple words contained so much warmth. So much tranquility and peace of mind. Like droplets of water to a man thirsting in the middle of an endless desert. He leaned against her lips more closely just enjoying the fact that he could feel Alisa so close to his heart and not just have it be a dream while on the familiar ride in the train.

A soft laugh escaped her when he leaned against her lips more, and she nuzzled his ear in response, "I love you." She murmured again, just as softly as before, "I always will... and when the day comes when we can be together ..when you can be mine for good, I won't ever let you go." she brushed her lips against his ear, then lightly against his neck as she squeezed her arms around him tightly, a muffled, "Never ever ever." to follow.

That was quite the heavy vow to take and yet she had said it withe such dazzling conviction Rean was actually rendered speechless. "I believe you, Alisa. And I promise I'll work just as hard to make that day come true"

It was a heavy vow, and even after she said it she wondered if she'd be able to keep to it -- but ultimately she was more than certain. The end result was worth the wait. "That's all I can even ask of you." she murmured, nuzzling his neck. "We both will."

It was heavy for maybe just one of them but maybe just maybe if they could share that load, they might just be able to make a miracle happen.

"Yeah. Together..."

That was their M.O. back before they all got split up. Maybe some of the old Class VII magic was still with them. But with his agreement she pulled back from nuzzling him soothingly to look at his face with a soft, loving smile - a touch sad maybe, but there was still hope in that smile; hope and an earnestness looking forward to when they could be together.

She gave a small laugh at a thought though, "Maybe I should make a happiness hare for you, now."

That smile could just cut through any and all defenses he had. Then again that could be said of everything Alisa did for him. He chuckled softly at her comment before leaning closer.

"wouldn't RUMU count?"

She considered that a moment, "Kind of," she smiled, "You were more my inspiration for RUMU." She leaned in a little closer as he did, "I'm not sure that's the same thing." She supposed it could count in the long run though, but she was distracted by the therapeutic sound of his chuckle.

Wellll unless you have a machine that can make snow I don't know how you would make a real one. Maybe you could try with rice balls shaped like one?" that was not even an oficial alternative. just something he came up with.

Alisa laughed, "No, nothing like that - and it wouldn't last very long anyway." Hmm, "Yeah, something like that could work." Or perhaps some other kind of delicious pastry snack shaped like a bunnybun. She'll make him a veritable army of different sorts of happiness hare treats.

She leaned forward and sneaked a quick kiss to his cheek, "Thanks, Rean." The lighter conversation at least was starting to pull away from the gloomier one they were having - which is nice to get rid of the dark thoughts first. "I'd say I could offer to sell them, but I kind of like the idea of them being just for you instead. Is that selfish?"

Boxed lunch Happiness Hare. THat...would actually be quite lovely now that he's thinking about it.

"Hm? OH no no no not selfish at all." Especially not when she's already sharing Rumu with the rest of the world.

She'll send him so many, with cute notes of love and support, he'd be sick of them. Sharon would no doubt sneak in pictures of Alisa too, for him. Like a Rean CARE package. "Good. I don't want to share any of what we have with anyone else." She wanted to be greedy and have moments like this with him all to herself.

Frankly if Alisa could swallow her pride she could even ask Sharon to deliver them in person wherever he was deployed. An Enforcer would have the means to get in and out before anyone was any the wiser.

'It can be our precious secret treasure then~"

That was very true, but..hgggn, on the one hand, pride, on the other, Sharon would have too much fun teasing the two of them about it. Then again it'd be worth making sure Rean got the gift so maybe...

..as long as Sharon didn't bring over any pictures that hadn't been pre-approved by Alisa that is.

Alisa grinned at Rean's agreement, "A secret treasure full of love and kisses." she murmured, blushing faintly at the unintentionally cheesy phrasing. But it was still genuine.

They would have to choose something and while teasing would be mortifying...thepayoff could be more than worth it.

"The best kind of treasure I could ever wish for~" Who said she had na monopoly on being cheesy

She certainly wouldn't argue in the long run, though she would complain a good deal at the beginning. And at that equally cheesy response, she couldn't help but laugh, "And I thought my line was cheesy." she grinned, nuzzling against his neck affectionately.

"Cheesy but still true~" Rean shot back with a blush and a chuckle before he closed his eyes at the blissful sensation of feeling Alisa nestling so close to his neck.

He'd feel her lips pull into a grin against his neck, before she tilted her head away a little, with a soft sigh. Almost instinctively she moved her hand up from where it was draped against his opposite shoulder to stroke his hair as her thoughts wandered in lazy circles, simply appreciating the comforting feel of him as close as she was.

Though she did still feel a little embarrassed when the thought about being in his lap like this, and having agreed to stay with him all night. Not that she'd ever take back her words. "Mmh... you know what...?" she asked, suddenly breaking the silence between them.

Oh this felt so heavenly. Rean would have dreams of this moment without a doubt. Rean opened his eyes when he heard Alisa ask her question and it made him lean back a little to get a better look at his beloved.

"What?" He asked softly.

She glanced up when he leaned back a little, a soft smile on her lips, "... I kind of think...I could used to this." Sitting in his lap, nuzzled and curled up against him like this. Rean wouldn't be the only one dreaming of this.

"....I'll be sure to offer it any time we're together like this then~" He certainly doubted it would ever get old or stale for either of them. Not when it filled their hearts with so much warmth and happiness.

She chuckles, "..then I'll look forward to it." She definitely felt it'd never get old. How could it? She was as close to Rean as she's always wanted to be. She leaned forward a little more, "And every moment we have together." He might need shades because he's getting the full amount of her radiant happy smile, nothing but love in her gaze as she watches him.

He'd gladly go blind to have that smile burned into his memory forever more. THat being ssaid it doesn't stop him from his breath catching in his throat at hte sight of it before he leaned forward again to capture her lips with another kiss.

He beat her to it - she was going to sneakily steal a kiss from him herself, but she got caught in the mesmerizing sight of his own smile. He might have caught her by surprise when he captured her lips, but she only added to it, leaning into him to further the kiss a little bit more.
