Oh no, the dragon's turning into Gollum. Lucy better get free before she becomes the One Ring! ... although would that really be so bad?

"I thought you were hungry," Lucy accused drily.

"-fhg. pff...h...HEHEHEHahahahahAHAHAHAhA s-s-stop Hahahaha~!" Nev finally gives up the ghost, squirming fiercely with a fit of giggles.

"Ah! So you were awake after all you scamp!" She glanced at the girl clinging to her. "Justiiine, are you awake too?"

"Nope. .. . heehee." Justine couldn't keep a straight face, especially hearing her brother break into peals of laughter, and she let go of Lucy so the blonde could sit up properly.

"Both of you..!" Lucy mock scolded, chuckling.

"You four look like you're having fun," Regine murmured, rather sleepily at that.

Becomes? Wasn't she already the One Ring? AFter all she gave him so much power and he in turn hoarded it so fiercely and never wanted to be apart of her.

"Juuust making sure this little guy remembers just who is the top dragon around here~ Thinking he can fool my hearing and pretending he was asleep~"

Okay, fair point there. Lucy giggled, glancing over her shoulder, "Sorry to wake you, Regine."

Justine couldn't help but giggle at her brother, letting Lucy go as she rolled over to watch Natsu teach the younger boy a lesson. "Serves you right, if you had stayed quiet," she teased.

"Oh, you think you could have kept quiet long enough to fool Natsu? Really? You know your breathing changes when you're awake," Lucy grinned, straightening back and leaving poor Justine to the mercy of the dragon, had he any left.

Nev couldn't even come up with any kind of smark remarks, he was giggling MUCH too hard.

The moment Lucy peeled away, Natsu looked over his shoulder and Justine would only get a split second of seeing a toothy grin before the dragon's villainous claws were upon her ribs and belly as he laughed victoriously.

"Oh did you think you'd get away~ Oh no no no~ I have plenty of room for both of you little guys~!"

Justine's -SMIRK- melted into surprise when Natsu glanced over at her, and then too late she tried to roll away and scramble off the bed to get to Regine's side for protection! MUCH too late, when she's caught by the evil dragon's claws, erupting into a peal of giggles even louder than her brother's. "Aah! Help!" She sputtered, flailing helplessly.

Her screams soon got the attention of Herb, who jumped up onto the bed with a bark, excitedly wagging his tail and looking kind of confused about what was going on, but it LOOKED FUN.

Regine laughed, watching the proceedings. "Well you can't say they didn't ask for it," she murmured to Lucy, "Where are we?"

"My apartment, in Magnolia. Have a look," she pointed over to the window, so Regine could look outside and see the city for herself.

Natsu just focused on catching Justine up on her laughing quota even with Herb now jumping all over the both of them, licking and sniffing at faces and noses merrily.

There was a great deal of flailing and protests from the bed with that pupper adding to the mix. Justine finally curled into a ball to try to block the evil dragon from tickling, whereas Nev suddenly realized Regine and Lucy weren't by the bed anymore, but by one of the windows.

And then it dawned on him where they were. Or more accurately, where they weren't. "Ah! Justine look! We're here!" He scrambles to get to the window - the closest one is of course the one Natsu often climbs through above her bed, and pokes his head out. "Whoah, there's a river in the city!"

When Nev called his sister over, the evil Dragon finally relented and he pulled away instead taking to Herb, rubbing his neck and between his ears vigorously, pulling him close to his chest with a chuckle.

"Yep~ That's our hometown out there~"

Herb was more than happy to accept the affection, his tail thumping gleefully on the bed as he sprawled half in Natsu's lap.

"It's cool!" Nev grinned as his sister crawled over the bed to look out the window too.

"I hoped you'd like it," Lucy grinned. "You know, our guild isn't that far from here. An easy walk if you want to head out and get something to eat - Natsu was feeling a little peckish."

"Oh! oh! Me too! I'm hungry too!" Nev said quickly -- he might not actually be, but he didn't want to miss this opportunity.

Lucy glanced at Natsu in a little amusement. Oh they were going to either gloat about their relationship or they'd take it in stride because they thought she was like that with Natsu long ago.

Natsu was pretty sure a good number of bets were going to get their payout but honestly Natsu could care less about that.

"Then lets get goin~ I'm kinda curious how long it's been in this world too."

Justine and Nev were all too happy to charge ahead as the little not-family made their way out of Lucy's apartment. Regine walked alongside the children with Herb, while Lucy followed a step or two behind, glancing around because.. well she hasn't seen Magnolia - her Magnolia - in far too long. Unconsciously she reaches out to slip her arm in Natsu's, without even thinking about it - regardless of any teasing glances or comments she might get from neighbors. "Same here. It was over a year for us, but here.. it seems like no time at all has passed."

Natsu gladly lets his arm loop around LUcy's and he pulls her close to his side with a grin before looking up ahead at the kids and Regine with Herb.

"Yeah everything feels as familiar as it did before we ended up in Genessia~"

Feeling him pull her close, she can't help but lean against him more, her head resting against his shoulder as she drew a breath, exhaling in a soft chuckle. "That's good - I was worried a little I'd feel out of place we were gone so long." Her cheeks warm, "Heehee - I never thought I'd be able to do this with you," she noted, "Just walk down the streets of Magnolia like this. Not just going on a mission, but as a..a couple." Mirajane and Levy were going to FLIP and probably steal Lucy away to deman details.

Hopefully Gray was away on a job, because she wasn't sure the kids would welcome his presence, even if he wasn't the corrupt one.

"Hahaha yeah. Though you can't do you favorite balancing act when we're like this. You sure you don't mind missing out on that?" Natsu asked with a cheeky grin that brought his nose so very close to Lucy's.

Lucy grinned, leaning up mid-step to brush her nose against his affectionately (someone making their way down the canal catches sight of the loving gesture and falls into the water from the surprise, much to Nev and Justine's eternal amusement. Even if they don't know why he fell.), "I think I can stand missing out on the 'balancing act' once in a while." She teased.

Regine glanced over her shoulder at the pair, stifling a chuckle of her own. Yegods she didn't think it was possible but the cute factor was doubling by the second.

Justine broke the mood though, suddenly pointing excitedly, "Look up ahead! I bet that's the guild - it looks difference from the one back home though."

Lucy, having been oblivious to the poor man's plight when he fell into the water, followed Justine's pointing finger and smiled softly, "Yep, that's it all right!" Home sweet Home away from Home.

Natsu heard the man fall but he was in the river so he'd make it just fine. Right now he was far more keen to get as much of his fill of Lucy as possible.

"Well then I'm glad to hear that~" he chuckled and actually pecked her on the lips so quick someone might have missed it.

"That's it alright. Fairy Tail." He confirmed what the kids were saying, nodding with such pride.

That had to be either that he knew she was going to get 'stolen' away from him by the gossiping girls, or because of what happened in Other Magnolia. In either case, she didn't think it mattered - it still resulted in spending more time with Natsu that she relished.

Her eyes widened briefly in surprise at the sneaky ambush kiss, her lips curving into a bemused grin. Ah, if only she could have a few minutes more just to be alone with him -- but that can wait. She could hardly wait to be able to curl up with him on her couch - he of course, was no stranger to her bed even here, but now there was entirely different meaning to him being in it.

"I bet you'll get along great with Romeo and Wendy," Lucy grinned, "As well as Asuka. You're both a bit older than her, but she's such a sweetheart." It won't matter - she can get grown men like Natsu to play with her, after all. "We're almost there." Her hand tightened on Natsu's arm - a little nervous anticipation.

It wa most likely a bit of column A and a bit of column B. Still with Lucy not resisting his clinginess, Natsu naturally saw now reason to change what he was doing. "Oh Asuka especially is going to love you guys~" He could see the little cowgirl playing from morning till evening every day.

"Yeah here we go~" he nodded, giving Lucy a reassuring squeeze.

She was allowing his clinginess for the time being - mainly because she was going to have to suffer being apart from him at least for the first day back. Once the excitement died down, their friends would have no problem with letting them sit close together - though it'd probably be Lucy's embarrassment to keep him from being -too- clingy then.

"Here we go.." She echoed, giving him a soft smile, her heart skipping a beat a little. Putting her hand to the door, she pulled it open with a bright smile.

It was already noisy in the guild, those present chattering about one thing or other. No sign of Juvia, Wendy, Erza or Gray though so that meant they were out on a mission most likely. Lucy let out a sigh of relief, lingering in the doorway and just letting the atmosphere wash over her.

God, she's missed this. She's missed them. Levy is the first to notice Lucy's arrival, turning to give her bestie a bright smile, "Lu----" .... She stops short.

Mirajane, having been in conversation with Levy, cleaning a glass, follows her glance, "What's wrong L--" Both are for a second, struck mute from the surprise. And they aren't the only ones, because one by one, everyone else in the guild slowly glances over towards the door as well, the chatter slowly dying off into dead silence.

Everyone staring at the sight of Lucy standing QUITE close to Natsu with their arms around each other almost intimately, and then the group behind them who looked two parts confused and two parts amused.

"Well this isn't awkward at all..." Lucy whispered under her breath.

Yeah that stunned silence was around what Natsu expected. So many people he thought he was just an idiot who could think of nothing but fighting after all. So rather than let it get to him, Natsu threw his arm around Lucy's neck and pulled her in close, bringing his lips dangerously close to Lucy's in front of everyone.

"I don't mind it~"

WOW her face got red VERY quickly. Everyone was watching... but .. Natsu. BUT EVERYONE WAS WATCHING. Of course, whereas the others were expecting her to flail and sputter and shove Natsu away or smack him, she only does two of those things.

Sputter and flail mentally. "N.. Natsu..!" What in the world was he THINKING?

She glanced away from the temptation that was her beloved to look towards her second family and... yyyyyyyep, everyone's jaw had HIT THE FLOOR. Mirajane's hand went slack and the cup dropped from her hands, clanging onto the floor and startling a majority of the room out of the stunned reaction.

Several pulled away into small groups to quickly bicker and argue about who won the bet, who owned who money and how much, while Levy had the -biggest- grin on her face, jumping to her feet.

What was so hard to understand? He was simply making his claim a obvious and blatant as possible. Wouldn't want anyone getting any funny ideas about this dragon's treasure. That being said it was also fun to see the various reactions as well as people going over to get their winnings from the betting pool.

"Gonna have to turn the focus onto nev, Justine and Regine though. Don't want to steal their attention after all." With that Levy walked up to them while Natsu loosened his hold and turned over to the kids and their pupper with Regine.

"Come on in guys. This is Fairy Tail. Our home."

"Huh wh-- oh! Yeah of course," ahem. God. damn him and his evil flustering ways. She stepped aside to let the group in, the hair on the back of her neck prickling as she FELT Levy staring holes into her skin, and Mirajane along with her. "L.. Levy! Mirajane, I want you to meet some very dear friends of ours," more than friends, really. "Nev, Justine, and Regine - and their dog Herb.

Regine was the first to step inside, smiling a greeting - though behind her were Justine and Nev. Literally, like a pair of ducks, sticking close to their Caretaker.

"It's so... big!~" Justine murmured in a soft breath. "And pretty!"

"And lively -" Regine agreed, chuckling. She glanced over at Natsu, "Is it always like this?"

"Sometimes it's -ack!" Lucy squealed when Levy suddenly grabbed her left arm, "Lu-chan, a word..?" Kind of funny to see the much shorter girl "dragging" the other girl away with her.

Mirajane beamed sweetly, "I'll be over to join you both in a moment, Levy, don't start without me!"

In all honesty this should not be a surprise. She knew him too too well and after what happened in the other world he was intending to make it clear beyond a shadow of a doubt that yet him and Lucy were now an item and no one could do anything about it.

"Pretty much. It's actually pretty tame right now since no one's brawling yet." Natsu grinned as if he'd said the most natural thing ever.

If Lucy expected to be rescued, she would be sorely disappointed since he knew the girls would have nothing of it.

NATSU YOU TRAITOR! how could you abandon her to her fate! Her horrible horrible fate! She'll never be heard from again!

Mirajane on the other hand, was pleasant and smiling herself - which wasn't always a good thing, knowing her, but she leaned down to address the children first, "Aren't you two adorable! My name is Mirajane - call me Mira~!" She straightened again, this time as the other popular couple in the Guild wandered on over, amused smirks on their faces.

"We were wondering when you were going to put in an appearance today," Alzack remarked, "But we didn't expect an entrance like THAT."

"You made us an extra five thousand jewels today." Bisca added with a teasing grin. "Who are your friends?" Mostly curious for the children, who looked about a good age to be playmates for their own little one.
