Spending day after day in the cabin Natsu had built near the Guild, going on missions and living, being WITH Natsu was plain and simple, pure. Heaven. Lucy could genuinely not think of any time she was as happy as she was with him. It still amused her to think of the times she was too flustered to acknowledge her feelings for him, until things came to a head.

And then the kids came along during that mission - Nev and Justine, along with their 'mom' Regine. If Natsu becoming an integral part of Lucy's life was like completing her, then the kids and Regine were the added frosting on a perfected cake. Yeah that metaphor was all over the place. GRANTED it was a little difficult to get time alone with Nev and Justine almost demanding their attention a good amount of the time, but she didn't mind, and didn't think Natsu did either. They had their evenings together, and their little hiding spots to sneak away to, sometimes just for fun.

Meanwhile the first rays of light were beginning to filter in through the window-shades of their room, with Lucy snuggled up against Natsu's side, an arm wrapped around him with a faint smile on her lips. Not quite awake yet, but in that in-between point of just about to rouse. The birds had barely even begun to chirp when the distant BAM! of a door swinging open, followed by barely hushed giggling voices and scampering feet could be heard by Dragonslayer senses with ease, obviously heading towards said cabin.

Natsu jumped onto the castle, his hand gripping the fluffy walls while he bit a huge chunk out of the rampart before he clambered into the fluff castle properly, pushing teh two fleeing girls up higher and higher as more balls of fluff were sent tumbling his way.

Yeeeeeeess, come a liiitle bit closer dear dragon, just a bit.. and you'll step right into that pitfall trap they devised for you! Or will he notice the way the fluff gives way juuuuuuust a bit in one spot than it does in others.

There's an *ACK* from Neveren when Asuka tackles him out of nowhere, giggling gleefully, "Caught you!"

"Did not!" "Did too! Did toooo!"

Lucy peers over Fluff Fortress at the approaching dragon, and then over at Nev and Asuka (stifling a giggle) before glancing at Justine, "My dear, there may be only one way to escape our plight and keep the vicious dragons from capturing us - we may have to jump to our doom." Fortunately there was enough fluffy woool behind the fortress that the girls would be able to jump without harm, but still, in pretendy times, it clearly meant danger!

His foot almost sinks right into the hole before he pulled his foot back with a grinning smirk. "Hah thought it would be that easy did ya? Come here princess and Queen!" Natsu roared again as he jumped over the fluffy pitfall and landed a few steps right behind Justine.

"No, he discovered our plan!" Lucy gasped overdramatically! And then squeaked when he leaped over the pitfall to cut off their escape! NOO!

Justine CLUNG to her waist and shrieked again, "What are we gonna do! Asuka help!" She glanced over to where both children were quickly practically climbing over each other in an attempt to get up on the Fluff Fortress first, and choked back a giggle.

Lucy kerPOINTED with a finger, "We'll never be yours, fiend!" She glanced to Justine, "We have only one choice now - we push him off!" And onto the nice soft wool below. And while laughing, both girls step forward to try and shove Natsu off their protected fortress. NEVER SAY DIIIIIIIIIIE.

"IF I AM GOING DOWN THEN I'LL TAKE YOU BOTH DOWN WITH ME!" Natsu roared as if he'd taken the greates injury before his arms snaked around both girls to try and pull them with him as he fell.

That was exactly what Lucy expected too. In spite of herself, she let out a laugh before she squealed in 'terror' as he captured her and Justine both. All three landing in a heap on the fluffiest wool in anywhere.

Neither girl has a c hance to break into giggles th ough, but there's a "NOOOOOOOOO!" From Asuka above them, before Justine glances up and quickly squirms to get free - mainly because Asuka was leaping off the Fortress as well. "HEEEK!" That was a genuine shriek from Lucy, followed by another when Nev, not even bothering with 'acting' anymore, immediately leaps after Asuka. BANZAI~! It's raining children!

Natsu laughed as well as his back hit the fluffy forth, turning both girls over to attack princes and queen alike with tickling before Asuka decided to join in with Nev right on her tail!

And to their credit they give as good as they get - when they're not trying to escape, that is, but once the other two children join the fray, it was sheer chaos until Lucy finally found her voice, gasping for air and laughter. "Enough I yield! Help! Someone mercy -!!"

"Not a chance! GET HER EVERYONE!" And just like that the queen suffers the most cruel of betrayals! All according to the great dragon king's plan!

WHAT. THAT WASN'T IN THE DEAL - Lucy gave Natsu the most betrayed look, 'How COULD You' right until she went into immediate defense mode, squealing in peals of giggles as the children turned their attacks on Lucy until she was having trouble breathing from laughing herself to tears. Natsu is a CRUEL, COLD HEARTED MONSTER, AN EVIL GREAT DRAGON KING. The Celestial Queen WILL have her revenge!

They had a deal? Funny how he didn't seem to recall anything of the sort.
Still once she starts actually having trouble breathing, Natsu finally relents and pulls the kids down on his side instead with a loud and proud laughter.

She will BURY you dragon. BURY you in all the wool and pillows and blankets she has! Poor Lucy can't even move she's exhausted from laughing so hard and so much - Justine eventually recovers first, followed by Asuka and Nev, so Natsu has an armful of children all glomped onto him, grinning with enough cheer and energy to power a hundred magic factoriess.

She can definitely try. Though buried under wool and pillows and all things fluffy and poofy sounds like heaven really. He does feel the little kidlets holding onto him all around and his arms quickly close around all three of them squeezing them close as he chuckles.

"Good job. We had her fooled all along~ Now the queen is ours~"

She will try! And he will fail to resist her sneaky wiles and fluffy shenanignas! "You planned this from the beginning?" Lucy mock gasped, "How could you all betray me like this?"

"Dragons are cooler than princesses." Nev volunteers. Lucy sputters into giggles.

"Of course You'd think so. Boys can't be princesses!" Justine huffed good naturedly. "... dragons ARE cool though."

"Heheehee~ You're going to be quicker than that~" Natsu grinned over to Lucy looking oh so smug with his hoard of kidlets in his arms.

Lucy stuck her tongue out at Natsu with a huff, "I might forgive the children for their betrayal - they're impressionable at that age, but you, nevah~" she giggled, pushing herself up and smoothing out her clothing from the ticklefight.

"Well whatcha gonna do about it~?" Natsu asked looking mighty unapologetic about everything he'd done. Almost as if to taunt her to try and get back at him right now.

Oh he can have his unapologetic smirks - she /grins/ right on back at him, shaking her head. Ohhh no you aren't going to lure her into making a mistake this time. "Fufufu... Oh I have a few ideas I can get a little creative with." Maybe she's gonna put itching powder on your side of the bed! Or cover you with all the blankets and pillows in a weird twist of the Princess and the Pea~! It's not something she was going to attack him with right this moment.

"Hah! I wonder if you can prove it. Would be a shame if you couldn't live up to what you wanted of me~" Natsu was certainly not above teasing his beloved queen endlessly.

Lucy grinned, reaching over to nab his scarf and tug it up over his face. "My dear dragon, you should know by now that I *ALWAYS* live up to what I want of you."

Asuka glanced at the two, then over at the kids, both who rolled their eyes with silent, 'Adults Flirting and being GROSS again' looks.

Asuka hopped off of the fluffy wool, "Come on, let's play something else~!" giving the adults a bit of a reprieve.

Natsu chuckled and let out a growl as the scarf was used to obscure his view of his radiant queen. Luckily his arms had loosened their hold on the kids so if they wanted to scamper out of the fort, they were free to do so while the dragon aimed for the queen, waiting for the opening to grab her.

Lucy giggled as the children scampered off for now games and shenanigans, while she let out a surprised yelp when he made an attempt to grab her. Not going to make it easy for him! She scrambled away! "No you don't~!"

"Rawr! Come back here~!" Natsu roared as he started to chase Lucy around the fluff fort, eager to get his hands on his partner and tickle her into submission again.

"On one condition!" Lucy scampered around the fort herself, giggling, but moving always to stay just out of reach of his evil grabbing tickling fingers! She even yanks a few bits of wool off the fort to toss them at him. Bipbip!

"Oh really? And what's pfffthuie! Wha's that?" Natsu asked spitting out the wolly fluff from his mouth after Lucy managed to pelt him in his wide gaping mouth.
