Since graduating from the Academy, life has been..interesting for Alisa, to say the least. She's been kept very busy, since she was upholding her promise to her mother on showing her the proper way to run the company, and it wasn't easy to put in those changes. Though it would have been a lot harder if she didn't have the support of those around her. But because of that, she hadn't been able to get time to get to visit Rean as much as she liked.

Translation: As much as she liked = every day. She did get to visit - or vice versa - at least on the weekend, and she talked to him almost every night thanks to the range on the ARCUS. Just as finished up for the night, she made her way up to the penthouse, glancing around to make sure she was alone (And you never know with Sharon) in order to take out her ARCUS once more and see if she could get a hold of Rean before bed. She was planning on seeing if he was in the area - alternatively, she was sure she could get away for a visit, if he wasn't busy.

"Hm? Why are you apologizing? It's fine really." Sharon would certainly not mind bringing some with her if Alisa really asked for her assistance in the matters of wooing her beloved with the cozy prospect of just enjoying the cold treat together all comfy with each other.

No she definitely wouldn't - and she would probably make some helpful suggestions too, because Alisa's happiness was the most important thing to her. And Alisa couldn't be happier than when she was with Rean being cuddly and cute, right? "Ahah, you're right, sorry." She almost palmed her face, "I mean - not sorry that I'm sorry, but sorry that I keep apologizing. And I just spologized anyway, so.." She made a soft 'nrrrggh' and focused her attention on her ice cream with a NOM.

Which is a mistake because holy SHIT brain freeze. The look on her face was definitely a 'I shouldn't have done that..!' expression. *whimper*

This time Rean couldn't contain his amusement at Alisa's reaction and he laughed softly before leaning over to press his lips against ALisa's cheeks for a moment because of how impossibly cute she was with her flustered mess. Maybe overheating her brain would counter that brain freeze.

It's all his fault for making her a flustered mess! She squeaks softly feeling his lips against her cheek, which warms enough to seem to counteract the brain freeze - or that was just pure coincidence. "A--haha, I.... was overthinking it again wasn't I?" she smiles sheepishly at him.

"We should probably start back before it's too late." They still had dancing to do!

"Just a little bit. But that's part of what makes you so cute too." rean chuckled with a soft hum while he nuzzled closer against her cheek for a little while longer before he finally pulled back.

"Yeah you're right." He was certainly looking forward to that dance especially.

"Oh Rean..." Alisa leaned a little against him with a soft, blissful, almost wistful sigh, before she pulled away at the same time, her smile back in full force. "..our ice cream is going to be all melted if we keep getting distracted like this." Hers was certainly getting drippy, but she didn't mind one little bit.

He also wasn't the only one who was looking forward to the dance - there was a definite bounce to Alisa's steps as she started back the way they came and towards the Reinford building. She had an idea or two on making things just perfect too.

"Hahaha well if that's the price to pay to enjoy you being like this, then I don't mind~" He certainly had a fair bit of icecream up to this point anyway to the point that the scoop was not below the rim of the cone itself by now.

Still her enthusiasm was so very infectious that even Rean's gait was matching hers.

Alisa laughed at that response - even though part of her knew, knew it was a bad idea to lay so much of her happiness on his shoulders, when he would be leaving soon, she couldn't help herself. She managed to keep from saying anything foolish, focusing her attention on licking up the drippiest part of her cone until it was safely below the line.

Part of her wondered if discussing their former classmates was a safe topic - but the person she was going to mention would have been Millium - with regard to the ice cream - but Millium was connected to his father, and that... it was probably safer to just keep it to the two of them. Which she was MORE than fine with.

"Hehe, then I hope you'll be able to handle me being like this for a while longer - because when you're with me I feel like I can fly." She teased gently, pleased when he matched her pace. They would make it back to her home in no time!

Alisa was definitely wise to leave those topics untouched. It allowed them both to enjoy their already oh so limited time together for a while longer and Rean certainly was not keen on bringing those thing up either when he could much better spend that time keeping Alisa as happy as possible.

"Oh I think I will find it in me to persever through that~" He chuckled with a soft sly smile.

Alisa smiled back at him, feeling those butterflies act up as she drank in the sight of his smile. "Then keep smiling like that," she answered - honestly she could fall in love over and over again with this man who deserved so much more, so much better. She almost forgot about her cone and glanced away to nibble away on the snack as they made their way back into the building and crossed over to the elevators.

"Then just keep being yourself and I will have plenty to smile about~" He said just as the two of them walked bback into the lobby of the Reinford building, radiating an aura of love that likely drew the attention of everyone in the room at the time.

"No fair turning it around on me like that," Alisa laughed, "But you don't have to worry. I'm not going to change, ever." A pause, "Unless it's from falling more in love with you." Oh yes. The people that were on call or who hadn't left yet were watching the two in their own litlte world, make their way to the private elevator and step inside without noticing anyone else. Whereas the onlookers all has their jaws hitting the floor from shock (and envy in some cases).

By the time they reached the penthouse apartment again, Alisa had just finished polishing off the wafflecone portion of her snack, and had to resist licking her fingers. "Home sweet home..!" And effectively suppressing the excitement and relief, if only a little. Now she could be alone with him and not worry about people watching them.

Not that she worried about that before, if only because she drowned in everything he was to the point that she forgot other people existed. "Let me get the lights."

"Haha the truth it's always fair though~ It just is." And that was the truth of his heart that seeing her happy would make him happy in return. At least as long as he was right there wiht her to share in the moment.

"Okay then. You know where they are after all." He siad with a nod and allowed Alisa to do her thing.

She puttered about starting to turn on the lights - though as she turned the second lamp on, she paused, glancing over at Rean for a moment, "Actually..." She didn't want it super bright for this. She shook her head a little before she got trapped into staring, and turned the light off again, the room's lighting dimming more. "This might be better." Thank goodness for adjustable lighting - it was much softer, even romantic now. NOw she just had to find appropriate music! "Could you close the windows a little? It's a bit drafty."

With his vision the dim lighting didn't impair him in the slightest. There was something especially intimate about keeping the lights like this though and he nodded to Alisa's request.

"Yeah of course. Give me a moment." Rean said simply before going over to the windows and closing each one a little more until they were either locked or just barely open.

"There that should do it~"

That's exactly what she was going for. She made her way over to the orbal radio, one that was more advanced than the ones they had at the dorms of course, and started checking stations. She could have woken Rumu and got him to tap into that frequency he had before, but .. if she did that he'd probably misunderstand the reason for their heart rates again.

Fortunately it doesn't take long for her to find a station that she decided was perfect. She smiled, satisfied, and turned towards Rean, her expression softening. "There. Perfect." Ah, well it won't really be perfect until she was in his arms, but ... semantics. "So um..." She chuckled a little sheepishly. "..may I have this dance?"

Once the windows were taken care of, Rean slowly paced around Alisa waiting for her to finish tampering with the radio before he slowly stepped up to her, taking hold of her soft warm hand before pulling up closer still.

"It would be my pleasure, my fair maiden~"

Alisa practically radiated joy just at his touch, her smile bright and warm. She closed in the distance with him, squeezing his hand gently as she stepped over to the more spacious area of the apartment, before she curled her arm around him, "How very gallant," she murmured playfully, "A guy like you could sweep a lady off her feet rather easily." He could certainly make her swoon without trying.

"If I had my sights on any other lady. Luckily for my chosen beloved there is no one who can even begin to compete with her~" He was really tapping into his reserve of boldness to keep using such....blatant words at this point. But it also helped that they came from the very heart. His arm smoothly coiled around her back while the two slowly stepped into the melody from the radio.

You see, right there, she could easily have swooned into him at his words. And it might have sounded like just pretty words from anyone else, but knowing they were from him, she didn't doubt the sincerity one bit. She didn't take her eyes from his face either, sighing blissfully as they moved to the music so perfectly in synch it was as if they were born to it. "See, that's exactly what I mean," she murmured softly. Chosen beloved. Her cheeks were burning from the blatant wording, her voice softening more, "..but I feel the same way. You're the only one for me." No one could even compare no matter how hard they tried.

Why not swoon then since it was just hte two of them after all? The two adults quickly were swept up into a world of their own making as the music guided their bodies so effortlessly while Rean pulled Alisa closer to his chest.

"I am so honored to hear you feel that way~"

It was impossible not to - he was really pouring on the charm without even realizing it - or trying. In response to his words, she pressed herself closer to him with a sigh, leaning her head against him, blissfully moving through each step on instinct, her arms holding him just as close, "Being close to you like this.. I feel like the world is spinning." Like she was dancing on clouds, her adoration reaching nuclear levels of love and bliss.

At least his dancing hadn't gotten any worse since the last time he held Alisa like this. He wasn't sure he'd get much use out of thoe skills from now on anyway but he was certainly glad he did now. Especially when she heard that happiness in her voice even if there was a hint of ache for the future departure looming over him.

"I know what you mean~ It's enough to make me wish I could keep being like this with you forever and ever~"

"O-oh..." Except he couldn't. At least not yet and ... not for a long while. And the reminder makes her hold tighter to him, as if she could keep him with her longer. She swallows back a lump in her throat, and forces herself to keep her voice steady -she's not as good as her mother in keeping her composure, she doesn't break down at least. Though there's a bit of a hitch in her breath as she nuzzled against him, "I...I would want that too." She manages softly, with a bit of a crack in her voice, "That ...that would be a dream come true."

Feeling he might have damaged the mood, Rean immediately regretted his selfish words and he gently pulled Alisa closer, the warmth of his hold on her body hopefully acting like a soothing influence. That was his goal at least.

"Someday." he murmured softly and said nothing more afterwards just letting the music lead them both along its wonderful melody as their bodies stepped to the tune without missing a beat.
