Rean lets out a sigh of relief as he managed to avert a public fiasco. Only to suddenly flinch and widen his eyes. Hearing him express such curiosity and honestly at that too. IT was simply too..adorable!

"Haha well I'm happy to meet you too Rumu. Say could you maybe do a favor for me?"

Rumu gave a happy little chirp when Rean said he was happy to meet him, and then chirped again at the question. "Yes, Rean. Rumu is happy to fulfill any command requested of it. What is your request?"

Honestly this little guy was too precious for this world. Or maybe Rean was more prone to growing attached to artificial beings after growing so close to Valimar. Regardless he flashes a guilty smile for a moment. "I won't be able to be here nearly as often as I would like. So I want to ask you to make sure Alisa is happy every time you're awake while I am gone. Think you could do that for me?"

Chirpchirp, "Yes, Rumu will make Alisa happy while Rean is not here." a pause. "Where is Rean going? Will Rean be happy?" Rumu asked, almost sounding curious with the questions. Meanwhile upstairs, Alisa was going through her entire closet until she found the perfect dress to wear, gathering the entire outfit into her arms and poking her head out of her room.

Mmm, she needed to get to the bathroom to shower and change, but she didn't want Rean to see her outfit yet. So she calls out, "Don't look - I'm going to into the bathroom to shower ..!"

Dammit Rumu you're going to make it hard to say goodbye to you too you realize that?

Rean flashes a warm smile. "I'll have to go back to work. Work that makes me travel around a lot. But I will be happy now that I know I have reliable Rumu to look after the most important part of my life. " He might have just doomed the prototype to become Alisa's permanently with this promise between man and machine.

He flinched briefly as Alisa called out and quickly focused back to Rumu.

"O-Okay go on ahead."

It's unintentional! Rumu chirps again - the little bot does that everytime it accepts information from Rean and stores it. "Is Rean coming back?" Rumu asks, as Alisa is heard hurrying down the stairs and rushing into the bathroom, the door shutting firmly behind her.

"Yeah. I'll do my best to come back as often as I can. I just don't know how long it's going to be." Rean answered with a soft smile before patting the small maching on its top with a warm smile only turning his head when he heard the door close behind him.

Chirp, "Rumu will do its best to make Alisa happy, and Rumu will wait for Rean to come home." Because since Rean registered in Roer with Alisa, it thinks this is his home also. Alisa would not correct him on that either. Roer is her home, and so is Trista. And Nord.

Having safely made it to the bathroom without Rean seeing the outfit, the sound of the shower running soon follows, and a soft sigh of pleasure from Alisa. Nice hot shower - though she can't help but feel a bit giddy with Rean waiting out in the living room.

"That just gives me another reason to do my best to come back as soon as possible. Thanks Rumu." Rean said with a soft smiling sigh. With that he went back over to the couch still touching at the marks on his neck idly. If Rumu wanted to follow him he could.

"Rumu is happy to help, Rean." Rumu responded automatically. And when Rean went over to the couch, the little bot did in fact go after him, rolling quietly over the floor, "Is Rean injured?"

Pay no mind to the quiet humming from the shower. Alisa doesn't even realize she's doing it.

"What? Oh this? NO no no it's nothing really. Just a bit of playing around which led to some unexpected consequences. Nothing bad though." Rean what you teaching your precious innocent not!child ?!

Still rather than get hung up on that Rean looks over to the bathroom before the most wistful of smiles takes over him.

"So that's what she sounds like when she thinks no one is listening~ I could listen to that voice all day~"

Terrible, awful not so bad things! You're going to make him start deviating from his programming Rean, you corruptive influence you! Rumu whirrs a bit as it processes the complexity of unexpected consequences not being bad. Unexpected consequences = Good, so expected consequences = Bad?

"Acknowledged. Please be more careful when playing indoors and inform this unit should unexpected consequences become expected." Rumu cautioned. Then Rumu turned a little at Rean's attention shifting to the bathroom, then back to Rean. "Rumu is listening." And recording.

Oh dear. Maybe he should stop being a bad influence. But he can't help talking to the little guy. He blinks curiously at that weird question ut node regardless.

"I will, Rumu. Promise you'll be the first to know." Lovebites don't really count as injuries though as Sharon would no doubt oh so helpfully contribute to the little guy's knowledge database...oh god she's going to be an even bigger influence isn't she?

"Yeah. LIke a goddess isn't he?" Rean murmured mostly to himself but to Rumu as well .

Oh boy would she ever. She'd troll the little Rumu to the point of no return and convert him to become a Rean/Alisa shipper as well. Or as much of what as a little bot can be.

Rumu is silent a moment, though the whirring indicates he's doing another search - this time instead of the chirp, there's a sound like a 'buzz' in response. "Unable to acquire information on term: Goddess. Please supply definition."

The sound of the water running cuts off at that point, and Alisa's voice calls out from the bathroom, "Rean, I'm coming out. Turn around and close your eyes." She doesn't want him to accidentally get an eyeful, since she has to go back to her room to change. And yes, there's a threat in her tone, as if she suspected him to try and peek still.

Oh well. Hopefully the little bot comes out for the better on the other side of both influences aside trom ALisa.

"Well you see a-" Rean starts before Tiara suddenly sharply cries out.

"Hold that thought for a moment." He said briskly and turned around without even trying to look over his shoulder. Scout's honor!

"Already done you can come out."

The door opens, and Alisa pokes her head out, eyes narrowed, "Rumu, you make sure he doesn't turn around." Not that the little bot was really equipped with a way to stop him. Well there was the laser so he could technically shoot Rean in the kneecap. But even that would be little more than feel like a hornet's sting.

She pat-patpat-patters her way out of the room and up the stairs, before a few seconds pass where the door shuts again. All clear for Rean to turn around if he liked. Rumu was silent through all of this, and only when Alisa was safely in her bedroom did the little bot turn its attention to Rean again. "Please re-state definition."

Wow so little faith. Then again it happened so naturally one could have sworn Rumu had been part of the household for longer than under an hour or two. once Alisa is safe in her room he turns his eyes over to the little machine again.

"Hmmm. Well you know who Aidios is don't you?"

Whirr, whirr, click. "Negative. Rumu unit does not currently have access to network libraries that may contain information on entity Aidios. Entity Aidios is determined as relevant to this unit's duties. Please restate definition." Rumu answered.

Alisa was meanwhile glad for Rean being able to chat with Rumu while she was in her room, otherwise he'd be bored to tears waiting for her to shower and change for their date.

"Hmmm this is a tricky one. I was thinking I could connect the two like that but since you don't have access to that information yet lets forget about that analogy for now." Rean pondered out loud, thoroughly dedicated to this conversation.

"Hmmmm. You know what a mother is don't you Rumu?"

Hrm. Rumu will put a pin in that analogy instead, so once he gets access to the libraries he'll be able to cross-reference and probably make Alisa cry when he tells her Rean thought of her like a goddess.

Oops.

"Affirmative." ... "Rean thinks of Alisa as his mother?" There goes that connection flying off into space and not QUITE connecting the dots.

Rean almost chokes on his own spit when Rumu draws THAT CONNECTION!

"Wh- no no no no no no not at all! Well I guess if she would be a mother I would be the father figure but that's not the point I was making! A goddess is someone as important and dear as a mother. A goddess is to a man like the sun is to the world. A giver of life and comfort and happiness. Does that make sense to you?" HE IS NOT A PREACHER DAMMIT HOW DID THINGS END UP LIKE THIS!?

Rumu is silent - the quiet whirring continues almost twice as long as he works this out. "Processing..." In fact he loops that processing for so long he almost seems caught in a logic loop - but eventually, "Alisa is Goddess to Rean. Alisa is Mother. Rean is Father. Rean is God to Alisa." YEP MAKES PERFECT SENSE TO HIM.

"Yes that...wait what?!" Is all he gets to say before he hears the door open prompting him to sharply turn around.

And as he turns around he'll see Alisa stepping out of her bedroom in quite the fetching white dress - similar to her office outfit, except it's a one piece that hugs every curve she has, with 'cut out' pieces on her sides and above her chest, the lower half of the dress reaching mid thigh.

She's accessorized with a pair of gloves and an almost transparent silk scarf, her hair still a little damp, but brushed over a shoulder and with the faintest hint of perfume as she started down the stairs. "I -um... sorry I took so long."

Rean's reaction was nothing short of comical as Rean's mouth slowly fell open as he was rendered speechless. His heart rate also spiked considerably which was something Rumu would no doubt pick up on given how close he was.
