Since graduating from the Academy, life has been..interesting for Alisa, to say the least. She's been kept very busy, since she was upholding her promise to her mother on showing her the proper way to run the company, and it wasn't easy to put in those changes. Though it would have been a lot harder if she didn't have the support of those around her. But because of that, she hadn't been able to get time to get to visit Rean as much as she liked.

Translation: As much as she liked = every day. She did get to visit - or vice versa - at least on the weekend, and she talked to him almost every night thanks to the range on the ARCUS. Just as finished up for the night, she made her way up to the penthouse, glancing around to make sure she was alone (And you never know with Sharon) in order to take out her ARCUS once more and see if she could get a hold of Rean before bed. She was planning on seeing if he was in the area - alternatively, she was sure she could get away for a visit, if he wasn't busy.

Well they could certainly expect a rise in rumor about the young heiress given how smitting she unintentionally looked while she was with Rean. Rean himself though well frankly he couldn't say he wanted to stop even if he had been aware of that fact.

"SO then any recommendations~?" he inquired with a soft chuckle.

Smitten is definitely what she is; Rean is the only one in her world right now. The rumors... she would have to deal with that eventually. "Hrmm... Oh! Why not stop by your fishing spot?" Well it's not HIS spot, but there was one outside Roer, and she knew he liked fishing well enough. "Ah, but you probably don't have your pole." She hmm's, "We could pick one up at the store though, if you want."

"Fishing? That sounds fun for me sure but would you be okay with that?" After all she would have to watch him do the fishing. Though with the potential to bring back fish that could take care of one ingredient for lunch if she was feeling that bold.

If it was fun for him, that was all she needed to know. Also yes, bringing back some fish for lunch would be a nice treat. "Haha, Of course I will." Alisa grinned. She'd be able to see his fishing-face, that look of concentration and the calm that fishing brought on, and that was one of the best ways to spend her time.

By then they've reached the exit of the company building, so she reluctantly let go of him, leading the way to one of the stores on the upper level. "I wish Angelica were here," she admitted, "She would have liked to see you again."

"alright then. Lead the way." Well in that case she would get her wish most likely. Fishing was one of the few things he still enjoyed though the opportunities to fish were considerably less frequent when working with the military.

Hearing Angelica pop up put a faintly' rueful smile. "I am guessing she still wouldn't want to stick around even after she sorta patched things up with her dad. Staying in one place just isn't her style after all."

That was kind of to be expected - probably most of Rean's missions were ultimately get in, take care of matters, and get out, more pressing than their field studies - where they could at least take a little time to rest between unraveling the confusion and troubles.

So lead the way she did, stepping into a store first, "I think I saw some fishing poles in here the other day..." They had actually reminded her of Rean, which had prompted her to call him earlier than usual yesterday. And sure enough, there were several fishing poles leaning against the wall, so Alisa made her way over towards them, with the shop clerk watching curiously.

She chuckled at the comment about Angelica, "Yeah, it's true. She's been testing out a new motorcycle built up with George, actually. I think she was planning on going for a long road trip. She'll probably kick herself when she comes back and finds out you were here and she missed you."

That was putting it mildly. Most of the time he didn't even leave Valimar until combat was already finished. It was a stifling lifestyle that left very little comfort for any normal person.

"Oh. Was there anything new from the Lakefords?" Rean quickly asked, his enthusiasm rising considerably to the point that he didn't even care about the shopkeep eyeing the both of them. Alisa alone would draw attention after all since she was so well known in Roer. Even more so since graduating from Thors.

"Oh. That's so like her. I admit I'm curious about this bike myself now." After all he spent quite a lot of time with the original prototype. Now he wished he had it so he could take Alisa out on a drive in the sidecar. Just the two of them, the open road and the wind.

Alisa stifled a giggle at the obvious enthusiasm, "I think so," his enthusiasm was actually surprisingly infectuous, and she wasn't even a fisherman. Fisherwoman. Of the four before them, one of them was one of the new Lakelord fishing rods, light blue with a darker trim, a little heavier but also sturdier, made for catching larger fish.

As for going on a motorcycle ride with him, Alisa would think that sounded amazing. If she knew how much he missed riding the bike, she would ask Angelica if she could arrange to leave the bike behind - or at least a spare one - so they could go out on a ride next time Rean was in the area. Or maybe in Nord - as fun as it was to ride horses in Nord, having an area that wide open would be even more fantastic, she'd bet. It was such a beautiful land, she wouldn't mind having a small place there hereself, near Lake Lacrima and her grandfather.

If she could share in it then it was all the more worth letting his excitment show. That being said Rean's eyes seemed to sparkle as he eyed the new deluxe model rod. Oh he could see that helping reel in some really really big catches. Part of wanting to show off for Alisa too though.

Well Gwyn would certainly love lending the cabin to the two lovebirds. Maybe even to the point that he might imply getting some grand grandchildren. Though to have the Nord Plains all to themselves as they rode out on a bike would sound like nothing short of heaven.

She wasn't sure if she'd get the same level of excitement in fishing that he did, but seeing the excitement in his eyes, she quietly wished she could capture that look forever. In any case, she would definitely not regret suggesting going fishing if she got to see him look like that.

On the other hand, Sharon would have already told Gwyn and Irina about Rean's visit, so Gwyn undoubtedly had Thoughts(tm) about that. He'd have a lot of fun teasing Alisa once Rean left, to be sure. In fact, chances are he'd tell Sharon to not-so-subtly hint that Alisa and Rean were free to use his cabin at the lake ANY TIME they wanted.

There was absolutely no downside to visiting Nord, or even having her own place built, in Alisa's opinion. "How does it feel?" She asked curiously, motioning to the rod he was eyeing.

As long as she was not bored with tagging along that's more than enough for him. That being said Rean gave the rod a tentative swing feeling the weight in his hand and the distribution of it along his arm.

"Hmmm I like it. It's a good rod." Money at least wasn't really a problem since he didn't really spend much on himself these days other than the necessities and his new outfit.

Alisa smiled, seeing how pleased he was. "Okay, let's get some groundbait and head out." Sharon wasn't wrong - it really did feel like they were a married couple, shopping for mundane items like this with him. Even more so if they went shopping for food. But she had to catch herself lest she get caught up in that kind of daydream.

The door to the shop was pushed open, and as if just thinking about the maid summoned her, Sharon wandered in, making a beeline for the clerk and pretending not to notice Alisa and Rean.

Alright!" Rean nodded as he walked over to the bait section picking turning his back just in time to miss SHaron entering the store and walking right up to the clerk. Then again odds are even if he watched the door, Sharon would just walk on through in the span of time it would take for him to blink.

That was extremely likely; Sharon wasn't given the status of an Enforcer for nothing. Alisa didn't notice her either though, in fact. So when Rean got the groundbait and they headed to the clerk to have it all paid for, she was startled when Sharon - already ahead of them in line - turned around with a sweet, unsurprised smile.

"Why hello you two~! Don't you look adorable, shopping together. It's almost like you're married~ ♥!"

Alisa glanced at Rean, then at Sharon quickly, "Sh.. Sharon are you FOLLOWING us?"

Sharon giggled, shaking her head at the accusation, "Not at all my lady. I was simply bringing a gift for my friend here. The fact that you were both shopping here is simply a coincidence."

Rean almost jumped out of his skin as Sharon seemingly appeared right before them. But the comment about him and Alisa being like a married couple had quickly put a strong blush on Rean's face while Alisa had her little freakout.

Alisa didn't look like she bought that excuse, but she did sound rather flustered, pulling Sharon aside a little to let Rean make his purchase. "C.. could you not make suggestions like that?"

Sharon gave Rean a sly look, then glanced back at Alisa, "Oh my, does the idea of marriage bother you that much?"

"That's not the point!!" Alisa sputtered.

"I mean -- no!" Alisa corrected herself, "I-I mean -- we're ... we're much too young to be even thinking about that kind of thing..." Alisa's voice gradually getting quieter and quieter.

Sharon giggled, "Perhaps, but you know, engagements can be quite long ♥~"

The Clerk at this point looked like he was more interested in their conversation than making a sale, but he did manage to pull his gaze over to Rean. "I do believe they've forgotten you were here, friend." He grinned.
"Sharon! Cut it out!" Alisa sputtered, much to Sharon's amusement.

He could hear everything no matter how Alisa tried to keep her conversation with Sharon quiet. Luckily the clerk provided a distraction. A partial one that is since the topic was still related to Alisa and himself.

"Ahahaha well that's hardly surprising given how close those two are..."

The clerk nodded, chuckling lightly, "True enough. Is this everything you're getting?" He asked, motioning at the rod and bait.

Meanwhile Alisa and Sharon were still bickering back and forth, -- well Alisa was bickering, Sharon was having fun. "I'm simply supporting you in my own way, my lady," Sharon beamed, her voice lowering only slightly, "I'm sure Master Gwyn would be more than delighted to give you away should the time come, and you were very fond of Nord in terms of honeymrrphy~!" she was cut short by Alisa abruptly putting her hand over the maid's mouth.

"That's enough - not another word!" The flustered girl said. Though Sharon had already put the thoughts in her head -- a long engagement and a honeymoon in Nord..one day... maybe.

"Ah actually do you have any lures you could recommend?" Rean was in NO hurry to insert himself into that conversation since he was pretty damn sure that Sharon would turn her teasing cannons on him instead of Alisa the moment he acknowledged her presence.

"Actually yes," he reached behind the counter and took out a tray with assorted little lures, "This one here is the most popular one. It's light and bobs along the surface of the water, but this little finny piece here dangles below, gets the fish's attention. And this one here," he pointed at a bright colored one, "Draws the attention of the bigger, deep-water fish."

Ohhhhh I think I'll have 3 of the first 6 of the second aaaand 8 of the third." Rean said taking his sweet time while occasionally directing his attenition over to Alisa and SHaron.

"Thank you kindly for your patronage sir," the clerk smiled brightly, carefully counting out the lures and adding them into a small tackle box. "We'll count this as a bonus to your purchase, free of charge." he noted, in case Rean protested.

Meanwhile Alisa was still fussing at Sharon, huffy, "Quit saying things like that, all right? I mean... it would be nice, but not right now, when things are too confusing. Besides, we only really...said it... a few hours ago, and we're too young to think about marriage right now... I think." Some people do marry young but right now they both had too much to deal with...

Even if if she did marry Rean, she would at least have more legit reason to be closer to him, and she could be there to greet him whenever he returned to his 'home'. And that was assuming she didn't insist to go with him just so he'd have someone who loved him unconditionally nearby.

"Don't you think you're rushing things a little? Let us go at our own pace, okay?" Alisa had no clue Rean could even hear her, but from the look on Sharon's face, the Enforcer knew very well.

Sharon's mischievous smile softened and she patted Alisa gently, "I'm afraid it's much too fun to tease you my lady, but I understand your feelings." At least she confirmed it for herself, and she can pass it on to Gwyn.

... she notably has not said she would stop teasing though.

"In that case thank you very much." Rean wasn't about to try and refuse it. THough with the transaction complete, Rean had little choice but to finally face Sharon. That beeing said he could hear the topic quite clearly so he made sure to take his time. Though the look on his face was almost comical when ALisa just mentioned the two of them had just confessed to Sharon. The teasing she would get from now on would be even greater and while Rean was there he was sure to fall prey to it as well. Not that he felt the confession was somehting to be ashamed about. Just that it was easy fuel for Sharon's trolling ways.

Yeahhhh, when Rean turns to face Sharon, the look on the maid's fac was positively predatory, and she all but pounced on that little slip up Alisa made. "Ooh, so you -said it- did you?" She glanced at Rean with a slow grin, then back at Alisa, "And just what 'it' did you say?"

"Huh?" And Alisa immediately realizes what she said, and backpedals at mach five. "No! No no nononononononono! Not like that! Not whatever you're thinking!" Augh - "I mean-!" Wow she feels cornered. And very tempted to flee.

Fortunately Sharon giggles, "Hmm, i wonder if I need to have a little Talk with our dear friend..~?"

"NO!" Alisa sputtered, under the impression that Rean missed their entire unintentionally-loud-as-hell conversation. "Could you just leave him out of this PLEASE?" Someone please kill her, she's going to die of embarrassment.

"Heehee, well we'll see~." She does have to leave them after lunch so Rean might luck out -- until she gets back. Although that will be in the morning. Glancing at Rean, Sharon smiled with a 'To be continued' expression in her eyes, "So you two will be going fishing before lunch?"

Few other people could make Rean feel like a mouse staring up at a cat wenever they showed so much as a smile in his direction. The mention of a talk makes Rean back a halfstep back just as Alisa tries to get in the way thinking he hasn't heard absolutely everything. You would think the color on his face would tell her that was pointless.

"U-Um yes that's why we stopped by here to pick up fishing gear and supplies!" Oh dear that was almost a squeak.
