Since graduating from the Academy, life has been..interesting for Alisa, to say the least. She's been kept very busy, since she was upholding her promise to her mother on showing her the proper way to run the company, and it wasn't easy to put in those changes. Though it would have been a lot harder if she didn't have the support of those around her. But because of that, she hadn't been able to get time to get to visit Rean as much as she liked.

Translation: As much as she liked = every day. She did get to visit - or vice versa - at least on the weekend, and she talked to him almost every night thanks to the range on the ARCUS. Just as finished up for the night, she made her way up to the penthouse, glancing around to make sure she was alone (And you never know with Sharon) in order to take out her ARCUS once more and see if she could get a hold of Rean before bed. She was planning on seeing if he was in the area - alternatively, she was sure she could get away for a visit, if he wasn't busy.

She wasn't wrong. From any real threat he certainly wasn't confident in his ability to protect her. But if it meant protecting her happiness in the now then that was a little bit different.

"You...you are but not in a way that's unpleasant I assure you!" He just had to make that clear so she would not distance herself now. Because that was the one thing he wanted to avoid no matter what even right now.

Clearly then she has to go put her life in danger so that he can get the confidence to be able to protect her. Yep, solid plan. No flaws whatsoever.

That hasty reassurance made her give him an embarrassed little smile, as she nodded. God, she adored him so much, it hurt to be away from him. She snuggled against him again, "O-okay." he was vehemently against her pulling away for any reason, and honestly she didn't want there to be a reason. So she's glad he reassured her that quickly - if he had left it vague she might have pulled away so she wasn't smothering him or anything.

"I'm glad..." She's also tempted to lean over and nuzzle against his neck and WHERE did that thought even come from. That was weird. Maybe some of Sharon's 'concern' was legit.

Nah.

Oh he better not even dream of doing that! Rean would not stand for it since she was far too important to lose.

"I should hope so~" Rean chuckled softly but not with any kind of teasing intent. Just the overwhelming moment of happiness was making it hard to really contain himself at this point. Sharon was really missing out because of her duties it turned out.

But Rean! You need your confidence! ...but she probably wouldn't do that intentionally. Only if it really was for his good. She blushed a little more at the chuckle, glancing down at his hand, "Hmf - are you making fun of me?" Of course there's no irritation in her tone that said she actually was peeved at him for any reason. She knew he wasn't poking fun.

Not if it comes at a risk to Alisa thank you very much. Rean probably wouldn't be able to recover if something happened to Alisa cause of him. Not that he wants to find out not when he can anjoy moments like these.

"I wouldn't dream of it~"

Well. Put that way she'll just have to keep herself safe and warm for him. Although maybe she'll try to get some time to sneak over to Trista to surprise him one day. She'd bet Angelica would be more than happy to take her down for a visit if they were both sneaking away~!

"Hmmm..." She's not sure about that response. But she nuzzles against his shoulder, "Good, because if you were teasing me I wouldn't stay here with you like this." She'd probably stalk into her room in a huff and he would be Alisaless all night.

... wait he's gonna be Alisaless all night anyway. Augh, she kind of wonders if he's having the same problem with strange thoughts invading her head.

"Anything but that please!" He quickly said not even teasing a little about that. He knew she wouldn't do that though but he still had to say it to make it clear that yes he wanted things to stay like this a while longer if they could get away with it.

That....was definitely something to figure out for the both of them. Odds were he would find the bed even colder than usual after enjoying such warmth and closeness.

She looked up at him in surprise, having not expect such a quick, emphatic response. "I... I was just kidding," she reassured him gently, giving his hand a squeeze. Poor guy, so starved for attention he didn't want to be alone.

"Don't worry," she murmured, leaning closer to him, "I'm not going anywhere right now." If it came down to them having to go to sleep, she would have the same problem, having difficulty sleeping with an empty, cold bed.

Rean let out a relaxed sigh after her reassurance and he turned his lips up to press againast Alisa's cheek.

"Thanks. I know this is selfish to ask but I just..."

Alisa practically chokes when she feels his lips against her cheek, her hand tightening over his, "It.... It's not selfish..." she stammered softly, face flushed as red as it could possibly get. "And... ... and if it were..."

She hesitated a moment, then slowly shifted to turn her head towards him, leaning up a little, "... I want to be selfish too." She said in a soft whisper.

Gasp! Is she actually going to be able to give Rean the kiss she wanted to or will she be interrupted? Only the Goddess ~~and coins~~ know the truth!

This time he was actually treated completley to Alisa's blushing face. It was one of the most charming appearances he'd seen her with until now. But then...then the mood changed and Rean had to swallow the lump in his throat.

"W-Well...I don't see why you wouldn't be..." He murmured as he turned his eyes over to meet Alisa half way. This was...could this actually be happening?

It could be! Sharon was nowhere near (for now), and the Goddess seemed to be smiling on Rean, giving him a bit of a break from the hell he's been through. Or maybe she was just blessing him with so much happiness that it would be even more painful when he left. Maybe the Goddess was evil in truth!

But back to the matter at hand- Alisa was blushing rather intensely, but she was definitely moving closer, little by little, the hand holding his tightening, "...Rean..." she started, th en abandoned whatever she was going to say, her lips less than an inch away from his.

There was definitely a high chance of the goddess not being a benevolent as most people made her otut to be but Rean did not want to ponder religious matters. Not with Alisa's lips coming closer and closer while he in turn leaned towards the heiress with his own batred breath.

"Ali...sa...." he answered her call, lips merely an inch from one another now. It wouldn't be the first kiss they shared but still. It was such a priceless treasure.

It was possible, yes. Not a popular opinion, in many ways, but when Sharon didn't pop up like Alisa almost expected her to, she took her chance, exhaling gently at the sound of her name from his lips.

Lips that she gently touched her own to with a relatively innocent, though no less affectionate and loving feeling behind it, her thumb gently brushing over his hand as she leaned into the kiss.

It wasn't their first one, no, but it might as well have been for how much it sent a thrill through her. And it had been so long since they last kissed, a priceless treasure was exactly what she would call it.

The moments their lips touched, Rean's senses felt as if they had exploded completely as his hand tugged ALisa even closer while he slowly almost timidly moved his lips against hers only using their pressed lips and nothing more.

A slow and low hum started issuing out of his chest the longer the kiss went but damn if it didn't feel absolutely perfect.

She remembered the last time they kissed, and this time it was nothing like then - not bad, but quite the opposite. She shuddered from the sensation, as well as the sound of that hum of pleasure from Rean. A noise that was responded to with a soft almost whimper and god damn was it amazing but it _HURT_ knowing it would end and he would leave again.

It's probably with that thought in mind that she slowly lets go of his hand in order to move both of her arms around him, trembling with the sheer strength of the emotions as she moved her lips against his. She almost didn't want to pull away.

No, technically, she didn't want to.

That was just as good since Rean was in no hurry to to pull away either. Not when he finally was living this moment that had occasionally appeared in his dreams before they were replaced with more passive or negative dreams. Or more like nightmares.

But there was nothing like that about this moment. This moment would serve as a bright shining moment. A small piece of heaven he finally got his hands on and was loathe to let go of.

Her dreams were going to be full of memories of this moment, of the feeling of his arms around her, his warmth captured in her arms. She did break the kiss after a moment though, but she found it difficult to find her words.

Honestly she wanted to kiss him again - once was definitely not enough, but she didn't lean in again just yet - she stared at him with a dazed, happy look on her face instead.

This moment would be quite the beacon of light and hope. A seed of happiness he would love more than to nourish and protect for as long as humanly possible

His lips felt so warm and hot even after Alisa pulled out. Rean loked to be in a bit of a daze after the fact. Which would explain why he started leaning forward this time with his lips making those motions again.

She would give him a garden of happiness like this, if she could. Though she was in just as much of a daze, so she doesn't even lean away - and it's debatable if she would have - when Rean leaned in.

The kiss is just as amazing as when she initiated, her arms starting to tighten around him more. She wanted to kiss him as much as he had wanted to kiss her.

She wasn't paying attention to -anything- else but him, so she didn't hear the door open and close, and a familiar voice quietly say "Oh my..!" MY MY DID SHE HAVE EXCELLENT TIMING OR WHAT.

If the two still didn't hear her, she would have to make her presence known a bit more loudly.

If only that was something he could receive on a regular basis. Maybe he could stafe off from going completely mad from the lonelinees.

He is immensely relieved when Alisa doesn't pull away. The opposite in fact happens as her arms close the gap between the two. Closer and closer he inches towards Alisa, his eyes slowly drifting shut in the moment.

Only to suddenly hear a VERY familiar voice makes its return. On one hand he's frezing up a bit because hellow third party. ON the other...He really wants to make it clear on his end as well. So if Alisa doesn't stop him he won't stop either pressing his lips of his own accord to Alisa's this time a little harder than before.

Was someone else there? Alisa actually missed it at first, drowning in the sight of his face, her heartbeat racing -he's leaning towards her, it's not just her that wanted this much affection with him.

That being said, she didn't expect him to lean in much more firmly than the last time, so she makes a muffled noise of surprise.

"A-HEM. Ma~ster R~eean~?" Sharon is no fool - she saw Alisa's arms go around Rean, she knows the heiress wanted to kiss Rean as much as he had her. But if she let this pass without trolling at least a little, she'd never forgive herself.

There was and Rean actually let out a faintly frustrated growl at being interrupted before he actually realized what was going on. Which meant for a moment when he pulled back from the kiss there was a flicker of annoyance in his eyes before he saw who had spoken up.

"S-S-Sharon?! You're back?!"

Rean wasn't the only one annoyed by the interruption, but it wasn't like Sharon -knew- she was interrupting. Then again she could have quietly slipped out of the room when she saw the two starting to get some much needed affection. As it was, it only made Alisa starved for more.

Still, she only gave a soft sigh born of frustration and a tiny bit of disappointment - she had been tempted to tell Sharon to shoo, but she couldn't do that. And... it's gone and ruined the mood anyway. Darnit.

Sharon didn't look like she was the tiniest bit apologetic, at the pair. She also didn't miss that flicker of annoyance in Rean's eyes. "Fufufu, perhaps I came back too soon~. I didn't expect to see you making a move on my lady like that, Master Rean. How scandalous~ ♥"

Alisa -facepalms-. Damnit Sharon. Now he'll never make a move again, woes.

"T-That's not-!" Rean's stammering quickly died down into an embarassed groan while on the inside he couldn't help but wish Sharon had really taken more time coming back. It felt like he'd gotten close to something very...precious and now there was no guarantee when they might find that mood again.
